Just a quick question:
Would a toned-down, realistic version of Accelerator's power be okay? Assuming you don't know who that is, that means vector manipulation. I'm having a lot of fun coming up with all the problems that come with vectors being ignored. My favorites so far are that he has to move at shifting speeds to counteract a state of zero velocity and the fact that he'd be pretty much entirely weightless.

I'd like to know if it's worth fleshing out the ability before I attach a character to it, and I want to know if it's worth sending pms with the specs before I fully flesh it out.

I'm at seven major disadvantages with even more minor ones and I'm not even to a third vector type. This is fun.

Well, from the sounds of it, it looks like you're writing up a fun ability! I'm going to suggest that you send us a nice PM explanation before attaching your character, though, because I just looked up the Accelerator and I think this is going to be a close thing. Still-- let's see what you've got, and we'll try our best to make it work!!

@AdobeFlash: I can help you with your HTML problems! All you have to do is pick a color, eg. green, and then substitute that into your HTML everywhere it says "color". Add a link to your character image in between the two [img] markings! Also, take out the asterisk before each "hr" to make a line! Like so:

Appearance:

Adam stands at 6'1", with a slightly muscular build. He has messy blond hair, hazel eyes, and pale skin. Noticeable features include scar under right eye

Powers:

Adam has an ability that is quite useless in combat: He can speak to the dead. Being a Medium means Adam can see and converse with 'echoes' of people who have departed this world. Echoes act as copies of the deceased made up of energy.

Weaknesses/Limitations:

The dead scream. Adam cannot turn off his ability, and so sees echoes wherever he goes. And they see him. The dead scream about how they died, their hardships, their pain. It hurts Adam to constantly hear the moans of the departed, some of whom don't even know they're dead.

Personality:

Adam is a spite filled human being, distrustful of everybody upon first meeting. Quick witted, he isn't against making a few mean jokes. Doesn't enjoy making friends, and just hates people in general. Likes dogs.

Backstory:

Adam grew up in District 2, the area formerly known as Chicago. He lived in a small apartment with his sickly mother, who he cared for until her death in 2015. This devastated Adam, and might have been what broke him as a person. He moved in with his estranged father, who owned a bank. Life was dull, and Adam hated every second of it. When he tested positive for being a Mal, his father didn't bat an eye. His son was nothing more than a burden to him anyways

Can play guitar, and cooks a mean cake. Is good at cards

Quirks/Habits/Other:

Loves gambling, and during gambling is the only time he really opens up

One thing that I can tell you right off the bat, however, is that it's a little short for an Advanced RP character sheet. Usually, we'd prefer a little more depth in the sheet. Why don't you check out my glorious friend Ogobrogo's CS in the character tab (it's the last one posted, so scroll down) for an example? I think that that might help a lot.

However, it's really very clear that you read through the lore, so thank you very much for that! I think that Adam has a lot of potential, so go ahead and edit it up a bit, and send it back to us!

So, from what I can gather from the OP and the two character sheets, TEF-149 is pretty much just like any other school in a superhuman academy RP, only with bomb collars instead of detentions?

Well... sort of. TEF-149 is a basically an indoctrination center for Malfunctions -- they don't leave until they're completely brainwashed, and they're being trained to be "Guardians of Order": in other words, military weapons. And yes, the bomb collars!!

Think, maybe... a concentration camp for supers~~??
