After a deadly virus overtakes the world and topples governments, wiping out most of humanity, the vampires took this as their moment to seize control of the toppling nations. This story starts with a group of orphans at Hyakuya Orphanage who want to escape to a world without vampires, without having to be their slaves, their livestock, if you will. They are tired of being bled out every day just for a meal. Soon, the elder orphans come up with a plan for the Hyakuya orphans to escape out of the vampire city and be free. But sadly, only some will survive. How will they go on living? Will they join with the Japanese Imperial Demon Army? Will they join sides with the vampires? or will they become demons?
