So I've been a long time RP'er since I was 13, and am constantly working on honing my skills as a writer.
Side note: Please check my statuses regularly if you have a roleplay going on with me. I have a lot of stressors in my real life so I will post a status to update my partners on what's going on, and if I cant reply as much as I usually do. Even if you dont wanna hear about my life offline, it still is a good idea to read my statuses so you know if I cant reply in an immediate manner. Thank you for understanding.

One day, she was at the beach in a cave on vacation and found a white stone, with the moon shining on it. She also began to hear a voice in her head telling her to do things to use her power to hurt others. She resists doing this as best she can. Ability: Umbrakinesis (The ability to manipulate shadows and darkness). Weaknesses include: Bright lights especially coming from all around her so there are no shadows, pitch blackness since she needs at least a little light for the shadows to take shape, She also has a hard time using her ability when it comes to consciously using her ability and there are reflections of light like in a mirror. She is not very good at controlling her ability but when she needs to she uses it anyway. She uses her ability when in danger or sometimes during play, she is barely learning to condense it down consciously into a ball.
Weaknesses: Bright light, athletics, dry air and hot temperatures.
Personality: Well, Yamiko is an angsty girl, plain and simple. She tries to make friends but every person has called her a freak even for an extraordinary. Because of this, she keeps people at arm's length. She is snarky at times but will warm up to those who actually take the time to break down her inner walls or guards she puts up. Despite all her inner turmoil, she is loyal to those who earn it.
Likes: dark colors, swimming at night, and Japanese food.
Dislikes: Pink, Bright light (including the sun), and annoying people.

Feeling betrayed and angry, she set out on a journey to find out if there were others like her. But she couldn't find any who were willing to teach her. Feeling hopeless, she stumbled upon the camp and asked to learn to control her power.
