Your issue is that not everyone shares that mentality. And when so many people reach a point that they then refuse to fight, a tyrant attacks. There are so many sources- beings in which violence has dug its roots- that Existence is cursed with their presence forever.
That is the issue. But the goal is that more adopt it so that there can be more peace. If someone decides to attack, everyone can band together in defense.
