Technically it can do it any time if given the chance, but if you make it not want to by, for example, being its friend, then there's no reason for it to.

*Shrugs* You'll have to force it to help, or find a way to get along. You could force it to lend you its power thanks to the seals it'll be under, but it won't do things for you like gather natural energy if you don't have it willing to help. Be sure that you're on good terms if you ever decide to get rid of the seals at some point. Fortunately, the seals I'll be using will mean it'll die when you do, but if you undo the seals eventually then it'll be released when you die.
