I know. Had my work Christmas party last night and I got another one next Sunday. T.T
You'll probably be in the same boat, but I don't think the daily posting will be quite as easy to maintain for the next couple of weeks. :P

Oh BTW, seen your Steins;Gate rp. Loved that show. Just reaches a point where it says, "You're not hooked in yet? How about we kill off a main character!"
I'm willing to post but I just don't completely know what it is that I should be posting about. :\
Cool. Thanks. Hadn't thought about doing it that way, so I'll see how it'll work out.

This. So much this! I've noticed it a lot lately too. I can see the RPs in my Sub Box just sitting there and I'm like "So...we got our characters made. You gonna do anything?"

What annoys me to is when the GM doesn't post regularly to see if progress is being made. Just a simple "People still interested? Need help making your sheets?" and that's it. I've seen and had to drop RPs for this because the GM decides to not update anyone anymore. It's not up to the players to get a game started.

Got two that I entered. One about 3 weeks ago and it's slow because there's no direction. No reason to really do anything and no goal to aim for. Second one was over a week ago the OOC went up... and still no IC post. Just seems like the quality and commitment of some newer RPs isn't there any more.
At the moment I'm putting together a bit of a random RP that I'll post up sometime in the nearish future, however the thought occurred to me while I was putting it together... casual or advanced?

To give an idea what it's like, cause this won't just apply to this idea as I have a few others floating around in my head, the character sheets are a little bit detailed with me asking for certain specifics and referring back to the show's wiki so that I make sure I cover a lot of the basics. I'm also trying something different because in the show each character goes on their different adventure, sometimes as a group and other times singually, and I want to kind of replicate that in this.

With all this I am starting to think that maybe it will work better in the advanced section, but I am worried about the lack of coverage that casual offers (although fandoms usually draw in people anyways) and the really long posts that often appear in advanced. How does one determine what level would work best for their idea?

Fucking love that song. <3

Pretty sure the first time I heard disturbed was while playing a Burnout or NFS game. Pretty sure it was Decadence too.
Alyon cringed for a moment as she heard the grunt and groans of the men that Fraya took care of. Peeking out from the side of the post she could see the young lady waving to her with glee, somewhat proud of what she managed to do all on her own.

"Alyon I took care of them, you can come up now."

Alyon waded through the water dragging the boat across to the shoreline and threw the rope to Fraya so she could pull it up onto shore. Alyon peered over at the group of men that the girl had managed to knock out. Thankfully they weren't dead and she was relieved that the girl had learnt self control the more they spent together, but still, it meant that they now had to do something with these bodies before they woke up and alerted someone.

"I'm gonna use the rope to tie them up and we can gag them with their sleeves," Alyon spoke as she pulled her clothes back on over her wet body. It was annoying that the dampness would seep through but it was still better than coming out of the water like a drowned rat.

Carefully they tied up the scouts and positioned them in an area that would draw little attention from passers-byers before loading up the boat with their gear and the explosives, careful not to get it wet. With a gentle shove the two of them pushed the boat and leapt in, making their merrily way over to the dock in order to sink their target.

This is my third account. Although it is relatively new, I've been a part of the guild before Guild Fall.

When I make a new account, it's because I felt like I outgrew the others--as a result, they're inactive. Maybe it's because I took a long hiatus from the Guild and came back differently, maybe it's because all of my friends associated with that account are no longer here and I wanted a new fresh start. Heck, one of the reasons why I got a new account was because I didn't want to use my real name when 13 year old me thought it was a brilliant idea when I couldn't think of a cool username.

This doesn't speak of my commitment to anything, whether it be roleplays, accounts or anything else. I'm a committed roleplayer, and committed to anything else I do. I've had each of thesr accounts for years at a time.

Of course it's annoying when people make accounts just for the hell of it and to troll people, and in no way do I support them. I just wanted to lay my reasons out for having multiple accounts. They're not particularly special in any way, I just outgrew my old accounts.

I would classify that as a suitable reason. My own username is the second or third choice for my identity and it took a while for me go be happy with a long standing name that I can associate myself with. In your case I can understand and I respect your decision to change as a result of growing up. Wanna know what my first account name was...

Wortortle_Nutter

Never used it here, but that was my child self and my obsession with Pokemon at the time. So to change over to my next username 'Nutter' was a bit more suitable, however that is taken a lot on sites so I came up with my current one as a twist on the name and my enjoyment for mechanical things.

I was more aiming for those that run 3 accounts as one and I've seen the excuse of, "this is the account where I can be an idiot and cause mischief, so if this account is banned then it doesn't matter cause my other account is my role playing account"
I'll be putting up a post tomorrow morning. Sorry for the bit of a delay this week. Would have posted yesterday but I wasn't feeling well. :P
So the question is why would you want separate accounts?

Most people really only need one account. The only time that you would need a second is if you had a specific reason, like a mod having a writers account that isn't harassed by members.

To be truthful it is a frustration as another member, ie myself and others, because you can never tell who is who, who's a reliable role player, who's just making a troll accounts, and if the user has gone offline is it because that person forgot the login or left the site. If you can't be committed to one account, then think about how that reflects on your commitment to an RP.

Again, I acknowledge special reasons, but most people won't have a real reason for multiple account names.
