@Stitches Really do like the character and the curse you have chosen. Add it to the Char tab when you're ready.

As for the questions, the ones who brand the cursed they find is something you will have to discover in the RP as it would be before the age that most people would remember. The location can vary, but typical locations like wrists, necks and back are an easy enough spot to position them.

In appearance they would appear like a red scar, something scorched into the skin, about an inch in diameter.

@Karkinos Some aspects of the Character sheet are interesting, but remember, the setting is the mid 1990s, ie: no social media or twitter, and mobile phones were very rare. Michael may have one, but it would not be the most classiest of things and it would only be for phone calls. (Change Zuckerberg for Bill Gates as well)

As for curses, he could have the healing factors as that's not outside the scope of the RP. You could play with something like his luck too. Where he may have become successful but the more he achieves the more the world tries to balance things out.

You have some good ideas so far. Think about where you wanna take the story and what ways he may struggle.

Hey and welcome.

I do have to give some feedback to help explain why I haven't accepted your sheet, but I'm just not convinced that being a mute falls under the same category as a curse, or in the way you have presented it.

The curse is tied to the character in such a way that it shapes them beyond what is natural. Sienna is plagued with an addiction to Witchcraft and an otherly world, Mathias is a Werewolf, Edward can see more of the horrors of the world than Sienna, and Dave has constant premonitions of his own demise. If you look at them in this way you can begin to see how they can struggle with real life and socialisation — something I don't believe being a vocal mute could really match _{(To be unfairly blunt, it's really a disability)}.

Tying into that, I don't see the connection to an increase in sensorary abilities like smell; I'm sorry, but I'm not a fan of Japanese katanas in a 90's American horror story; or the combat focus with Combat Ready and Bloodlust. Adam just seems like like an action hero in a noir murder mystery style setting.

I do like how you've created a hunter, but to take an example from DnD, focus more on the rogue archetype as opposed to the fighter or barbarian, and tie in a curse that may affect their emotional or sensorary stability. Perhaps even an aura of effect around them when they get angry and frustrated (just throwing out some snapshot ideas).

Could I ask that those who have posted in this thread please remember that this is an interest check for the GMs to gather players for their RP. At this point in time I do not see how anyone would drop any interest given that the conversation has gone off topic thanks to users who are clearly not going to enter.

This is not your RP. If you don't wanna join... Don't post. If you don't believe the RP is up to your standards, it is not your position to criticize the GM.
