Brody stirred. His eyes fluttered open, but his sight had yet to return. His head was pounding. It was practically splitting at the seams. Oh god, why’d it hurt so bad. Slowly the dots began to fade. Things were...dark, but he recognized the hideous tile floor anywhere. Edison High Public restroom. Could the incompetent asswipes in charge have picked a more offensive tile? Gah. This day was turning out terrible. If he could just get to his locker, he had some Oxy. After this shit filled day, he could use a bit of a pick-me-up. Some Oxy, some Sondheim, and some Housewives. Was there anything better in life?

Brody looked around. His eyes were still a little unfocused. And it was dark. Why was it dark? And who was crying? Brody pulled himself into a sitting position. Was that crying? It sounded like it. But nobody else was in here? He pushed himself off the floor and struggled to his feet. Dizzy. He was sure of it. He checked the stalls. There was nobody. Brody, once he was certain he was steady, began patting off some of the dust on his suit. Ooooh, no good. It was ruined. He’d have to burn it, or give it to homeless people. Ew. Anyway, did somebody come in after? ...and left him on the floor? What kind of irresponsible-
FACEEYESBrody started to scream, but instead, vomited. Had he not already purged after lunch, something more than this greenish-yellow bile might be quickly drying on his loafers. But if hopes and wishes were loaves and fishes, then we would never go hungry again. Although, just seeing what he had seen might have done the trick just as well.
How hard did he hit his head when he fell? Because that was a whacked up thing to hallucinate. Hell, he hadn’t even had any Oxy yet. Oxy didn’t exactly make him hallucinate, granted, but the point was still there.

Oops. Round two. Blargh. This time, he managed to make it into the sink before donating his bile to the bathroom floor. He wasn’t exactly sure which one was cleaner.

He looked up one last time, confident that he had nothing left to lose.
He was right.
Reflected in the mirror was...how could one even describe it?
It was girl...probably. The Little Loser Club had him doubting what gender really was now.
She was...horribly pale? No...that wasn’t quite right. Probably. It seemed...off. Like...it was like someone had put a negative filter up on the picture of the girl before posting it on Instagram.
Brody nearly lost it again. He could fill the bile train a-comin’. But it derailed, and left him a nice case of nausea. No, he had to face it.
The pale woman-esque thing was staring at him with red, puffy eyes. Tears were streaming down both cheeks, falling into the groove of a sunken mouth. At least, he hoped they were just tears. But her eyes were slightly misaligned. And her nose was split. And her head as well. Bits and chunks of what would have had to be her...well her face, her skull...her brain...were clinging to her hair, drying in clumps on what was left of her head. Her forehead had a large gap...perhaps, two or three inches? But the top of her head was practically gone. Or...not exactly gone, but extended. Upwards. And open.
Brody was suddenly even more pissed off than before. Yeah, he was insulted by the asswipes in their little freak parade calling him a faggot

The right eye locked sight with him. The left, just sort of rolled around in the socket. At least, what was left did. It seemed like it was slightly flattened an-

It raised a hand. Then another. And it pressed against the mirror...sort of. It should have been leaning against the mirror completely, but...it just sort of, didn’t stop. It was as if she were diving through water. There was depth to it...but there couldn’t have been. His eyes hurt to look at it, but soon his other senses got a taste of the insult as well.
The closer she got threw the mirror, the sobbing grew in intensity. It hurt. Holy fuck, did it hurt. It was so loud. And piercing. He covered his ears. Then he got a whiff of...whatever that was. It smelled like something had rotted three times over. He gagged. He wanted to vomit again, to get rid of the taste it left in his mouth, but it just wasn’t happening.
But potentially worst of all, was that she was gaining normal color. She became more and more vivid until…
Poof.
There she was.
Standing just a couple feet at him was a girl a few feet shorter than him. She was in a weird, retro getup....alright, so he was trying to distract himself.
The gaping head wound?
It was pulsing. He could see the skin on her head rise and fall. Her eye, the left one, fell back into its socket a bit. She continued sobbing, why she/it/whatever was practically wailing now, but then smiled. It was even worse. Her top front four teeth were completely missing. And so were many of the others up top. The rest were sticking out in odd angles. Or twisted in at even odder angles.
She moved in closer, raising her arms in a sort of embrace. She opened her mouth, and her tongue flopped about lazily. Brody took a step back. She took a step forward. And he took another. And she took another.
His back touched the stall door. The stall door gave in. It flew back, and Brody, carried by his moment, went with in, falling square on his ass. He started to scramble back but…
It was weird.
In one moment she was clearly there. In the next, she wasn’t. And the middle part didn’t register.
He was just about ready to celebrate the end of a very bad hallucination...when he heard it.
Fucking sobbing.
He turned his head, and cast a look over his shoulder.
The trip continues.
There was a girl there, sitting on the toilet, fully clothed mind you, with her backpack on the ground between her legs.. She was actually kind of cute. Well...no, not exactly. She looked a little shaken up. And she was pale, and had ordinary features, but she was rocking that hair. A little 90’s for him, but it wo-
She reached down into her backpack and pulled out what Brody could only call a revolver. She placed it in her lap, sobbing the entire time. What the fu...she wasn’t going to…
Moments passed. Brody tried to move, but found himself unable. He was completely paralyzed.
The girl picked up the gun and looked at it through red rimmed eyes.
Please no. She weighed it in her hands and sobbed.
Don’t… She turned it up, pointing up at the ceiling.
Just put it down… And she waited.
She cried. Brody tried to say something, but he couldn’t.
The average looking brunette with the beautiful curly hair finally looked up from the ground. She cast her hopes high, begging for an answer. For any reason, any reason at all, to just stop.

Her pleas landed on deaf ears, it would seem.
She tilted the gun back, and pushed it towards her mouth.
Please, please don’t… She put her mouth around it. Brody felt something touch his shoulder, something terribly cold, but he couldn’t turn. Huge tears spat out of the girl’s eyes as her finger crawled up from the grip and touched the trigger.

The sound hit the walls and the floor, and bounced off into every direction, back again, then in every other direction. A ringing started in Brody’s ears. But…
Bloody splattered against the back half of the stall. It painted the walls crimson, with meaty bits sliding down, causing odd, jagged lines. Some pelleted Brody, his shoes, his hair, his suit...his face. He could feel something
blood? eye fluid? sliding down his forehead. Something...slimy. And something
brain? bone? landed in his hair.
Brody’s legs gave out on him, and he hit the ground. Sobbing himself. The girl had shot back a bit, against the toilet. And she dropped the gun, which landed and actually fired again. Had Brody been standing slightly more to the left, he’d be out a kneecap right about now…
Why the hell was he seeing this? He was fully crying now as well. Why the hell did she shoot herse-
Huh. Brody actually did it.
He vomited again. Bile mixed with with the blood that was pooling around the girl.

In one moment, he was looking at a set of gore that he would never be able to unsee. The next? Completely gone. Not a sign of it. It was as if it never happened.

Wait...what was on his shoulder? Brody looked to the right and...saw a hand. A hand. He looked up, tracing the arm, desperately wishing for his stress breakdown to end.
What he saw was just an average kid, probably a couple years younger than he, if he had to guess. Nothing really weird. Brown hair, cut in an unnoticeable style, brown eyes, jeans, t-shirt, shoes… Oddly cute, actually, now that he thought about it...
“Shh...shh...it didn’t happen. You’re fine. You’re gonna be fine.” The boy crouched down, pulling Brody’s head into a hug.
Brody flipped his shit.
He pushed the boy off, and scrambled out of the stall on all fours. But it was still dark, so Brody didn’t see his first pile of bile, and his hand caught it and slid. And he lost his balance, plunging face first into the horrors of his digestive system.
Unimaginable horror struck Brody. He scrambled up to his feet and tried to turn the sink on.
”N-don’t do tha-ohh, never mind.”The boy covered his face with his hand.
Brody saw the stream and cupped his hands. The water filled them up rather nicely, and he pulled it up to his face, getting quite a bit of water to stay in his hands. Quite. A. Bit. Of. Wa-
That wasn’t water.
Chunky liquid poured down Brody’s face. He opened his mouth to scream. Some of the liquid got in. It was rancid. It tasted like the hopes and dreams of the poor. He spat it out…
Alright, no, he vomited. Again. Into the sink. And it hurt. Bad. Brody couldn’t be sure if there was blood in that one but...well it felt like it. It felt like his throat was shredding itself.
The sobbing returned. Brody joined in the chorus.
The other boy crossed over, pulling a cloth out of his pocket.
“Here, here...lemme jus- quit fussing. It’s all right. I’m not going to hurt you, I just wanna clean you up a bit.”Brody looked at the smaller guy, who began to wipe Brody’s face. First the forehead, then he eyes, lips, so on. It took a few clothes, and he knew he wasn’t completely clean, but Brody felt a huge relief.
For a moment.
Then he sobbed.
“Wh-wha-wha-what th-th fu-fuck?”His eyes drifted past the boy back into the st-

In the stall was the curly haired woman again. Slouched on the toilet again. Crying down into the backpack again. She pushed her hand into the backpack again, and lo and behold, she pulls out yet another revolver.
Brody’s eyes were practically bulging from their sockets now. What the actual fuck?
The other boy took notice. He reached up and grabbed Brody’s head and pulled it back into facing his own.
“Whoa, hey, listen to me. Don’t look. Alright, don’t look. It’s just worse if you look.”He sighed before letting go of Brody’s head. He took a couple steps back, diagonally, towards the early stalls and the door. He tilted his head back, giving Brody the universal sign of “follow me”, but Brody couldn’t.
He just couldn’t.
His gaze was glued to the girl. She cast her eyes up once more, praying to a god that wouldn’t answer her.
And she pulled the trigger. Again.
BANG!
Once more, her stall flooded with gore. Brody was far enough away to avoid the majority of the mess this time around but…
He felt his arm being tugged at. Then he was moving.
The other guy. He grabbed Brody and was slightly dragging him off to the door. No.

The kid positioned Brody’s back against the walls, then pushed gently yet firmly down on his shoulders. Brody went to the floor without a fight. His mind wasn’t working correctly. He wasn’t quite sure it ever would again. Was this what madness felt like?

It sure looked like it. Brody looked up at the guy, mouth floundering. He couldn’t find the words to say. He couldn’t find ANY words to say. Could he even say anymore? The boy was...looking into the mirror. Then, after a few moments, he grinned.
“Looks like we’ve got a few before she comes back.”So many questions finally hit Brody.

He finally got a good look around the room. This wasn’t the same bathroom in Kansas anymore…
For lack of a better phrase, the walls were bleeding. At least, some liquid was sliding down them. And it smelled just rotten and vile as everything else. He hated it. It could just go fuck itself. All of this. The hallucinations, the Loser Club, the faggotry, the everything.
After a few moments, the boy plopped down next to Brody.
“Man, do I hate to see you here.”The boy was...was he grinning? What the fuck, he was grinning. Why was he grinning? What was this why was he grinning what the fuck? He offered his hand to shake. Brody just glared at him. The boy hesitated for a moment, then lowered his hand with a bit of...what, nervous laughter?
“Haha, I mean, not that you’re a bad guy or an-Brody interrupted.

’It’s Nathan, by the way.Brody scoffed. As if he fucking cared. Nobody cares about dream names. As if he cared about any of this? He paced forward, careful not to walk in front of THAT stall again.

Brody looked down at his hand. It was gushing red. And found out why, soon. The sink he had been gripping was horribly damaged. The porcelain was cracked. And his hand had discovered it. Joy. Nathan jumped up and crossed over to him, a new cloth already at the ready.
Brody was crying. Hard. It really was real. This wasn’t a dream. It wasn’t a hallucination. This was actually happening...

The point guy, Andy himself, moved forward. Holding...where the fuck did he get a baseball bat? And why? What the fuck would a baseball bat do?
Andy moved forward and picked up something off the the sink. The opposite sink of the one on which he had just sliced his hand. He handed Tori and Bobo the Gothic Clown each a...bag? It was hard to make out, really.
Why?
Because inches away from the girls was the...the...thing. It was standing right beside Tori, leaning in very close. It lifted a hand, and Brody could have swore it was going to caress her head…
But the bags.
As soon as it neared Tori, the thing took two steps back. Kind of. It’s left left shot back, becoming completely perpendicular with the ground. Then it hit the tile a few feet before doing the same thing with the next leg.
Another girl, Sid, was taking pictures. A lot of pictures. Of everything.

She pointed the camera right at Tori and hit the button.
All hell broke lose.
Any semblance to a human that the thing might have had left it. It’s movements sped up and...well...had a bit of a trail to them. It’s head shot to the left then back straight. Then left. Then straight. Quick, jerky, violent turns. It’s arms straightened up, extending out to it’s sides. Then they truly extended, tapering off into points. They lost their human shape, resembling toothpicks more than anything else. Then they bent, not once, not twice, but thrice, back towards itself. Both points when down its throat, deep, deeper, deeper still...then…
The thing ripped itself apart. But as the two halves dropped to the floor, both disappeared. It was almost like they never were.
The sinks on Brody’s side exploded. It started on the far side, which luckily gave Brody enough time to get away. A screeching rang out. Brody hit the ground, covering his ears. This was worse than the sobbing. He managed to snag a glance at Nathan before the boy tucked his head in himself.

Brody could have sworn the boy was...grinning?
No time to think though. Brody heard sobbing again...then from the stall right by him
luckynumberfour, an arm shot out, flailing about in jerky, sudden, quick movements. Then another. The fingers skittered forward, dragging the arms behind them. Then came the body. The head was bend back at an impossible angle, lying almost completely flat against it’s back. It gave Brody and Nathan a look and made a crackling sound before it shot up from the floor right into the mirror.
Those eyes…
If he were to live until one hundred five, he’d never forgot those eyes.

Brody scrambled across the floor, making it to Nathan who grabbed him. The two guys held each other in pure terror, trembling from a fear so primal that one could smell it.
He stared at the walls, but they looked different. He squinted…

Something fell from the ceiling, landing on Brody’s head. He looked up.
Then he screamed. Again.
He kicked back, trying to get the fuck away. Nathan, surprised, let him go. He traced Brody’s gaze upwards to...nothing. At all. Just empty. Brody, however, was kicking and fighting to flee. He looked around frantically then back to the ceiling. It was gone.
It was gone.
Brody’s heart was pounding, trying to thump, thump, thump its way right out of his chest. He couldn’t take much more of this. He couldn’t. Just, no. His heart would give. He’d be as dead as those girls.

That thing…
On the ceiling, for just the briefest of moments, was a woman. Her arms and legs were chained to it, so she hung by wrists and ankles. She was completely nude but… Her torso was two flaps, pinned back to her shoulders revealing an empty chest and abdominal region. No organs, no muscle, just skin and bones. And her head...She had no hair...her eyes had been scooped out, her lips were gone. As were her teeth. As was her tongue. She was positively mutilated.
And it moved.
He couldn’t do this. Becoming...like that? He’d much sooner just off himself than have to endure…

As clear as day, the ghost was standing by Andy. But the boy must not have had a clue. He dropped down to pick up something…

And then the ghost was gone. One moment she was them. Then she wasn’t. The next few moments were silent between the two boys in the mirror. But Brody finally broke it. He clapped. That was right on, no jokes about it.
But there wasn’t much time to celebrate. There was but only a couple minutes of peace before…
The stall doors flew open then slammed shut on Brody’s side. Out of stall 4, two woman walked out. The girl with the gun, and the vicious attacker. They stood staring at the mirror. What wa-

Without warning, the beast opened its mouth. It just kept opening, almost hitting the floor. Then it turned to the gun girl, and just chomped. It took off the entire upper half of her body with one bite. Where once a full being, there was just a pair of legs and and stomach/groain/ass. But why leave it like that? It chomped down on the other half as well. Then it jumped back through the mirror. The way it clawed at the mirror to climb in, the spastic movements…
Was it possible that the ghost was now getting scared? Had it encountered something out of it’s comfort zone?
The doors slammed again, but this time, they didn’t stop. They kept going. And the sobbing grew in intensity. The chunky liquid spewed from the remains of the sinks, and a disgusting puddle was starting to form by the mirror.

And from the looks of it, this wasn’t an isolated incident. On the other side of the mirror, it looked like things were going bonkers too. The doors on the stalls were clapping, heralding the arrival of their master. The light flickered back on, then off, then back on, and then back off. It never worked again. The sinks also rumbled. Hard. Luckily, they were a bit more stable. They didn’t the liquid explosion.
