Charles would while being a ways from the others, get ready to do some of his training. "Inventory!" he says and reaches into the menu that appears infront of him and pulls out the reverse katana. reason it's a reverse katana wit the cutting part being on the inside while the blunt part on the outside as to not cut those who Charles slices unless he flips the blade around. the inventory menu would vanish and he would hold the hilt with two hands like a katana is to be held "...to think my own friend wants me to stick to this code sense he gave me this as a farewell present..." he says to himself shaking his head "alright.. lets do this" he says and takes a stance before swinging the sword through the air, after 5 swings 3 alerts would appear in his vision stating he has learned a new skill. he would open them up and read their contents;

Sword Mastery

You continue to master the way of the sword with continuous use. your proficiently with bladed weapons have increased.
+10% damage increase
+20% attack speed increase
(the masteries don't affect at same time it depends on side of blade he uses)

Blunt Mastery

You continue to master blunt weapons with continuous use, your proficiently with blunted weapons have increased

Power Strike

Power Strike Active Level 1
By infusing additional strength into the strike you release a powerful single strike
+100% damage for one strike

Charles would shake his head some at the new skills "...in terms of power these are weak in their current forms... time to 'grind'" he says and goes back to swinging his blade, he would get tired out after just 10 more swings, so he would sit down and rest, listening to the party. He only needed a few moments to rest from a workout unlike others.

The teacher would turn towards the door and look agitated when he shows up late "...how in the world did it take you this long to get to class.." she says slightly annoyed "...take your seat and pay close attention to the others and await your turn, maybe you'll learn whats going on" she states looking back to rest of the class. Oni seemed to be quick to temper should things not go the way she plans.
