Dia - Dorm Room

@liferusher

Dia bowed her head slightly. "I can do eggs," she said with a small smile. "But only sunny side up. The rest is always a mess and ruined when I try."

A short time later Dia had put down a plate for Emi, herself, and found some containers to take some for Felix. She was currently enraged with cleaning up her mess, still a little flustered over Emi's last request to know more about her ramblings.

"He's, uh, another first year. And, I don't know, there's just something about him that clicks. Err. Like there's this bit that makes everything feel okay and that I can not worry around him so much. If that makes sense?" Dia said softly.
Marksman - Down the Rabbit Hole

Liz shook her head, growing ever irritated at the rain. Even with runes to help, she could barely hear her own footsteps.

And she was soaked.

"Bloody weather.." she murmured.

It was then that she heard it. The giggle.

That was definitely her sister! But... Her sister didn't giggle. Her laughs were always unique, and she could never just have a simple sound like a giggle.

She was met with a conundrum. Did she travel deeper into the forest in hopes that she'd find her sister, or continue onward in her search?

She shook her head. There wasn't a choice. This was the best lead she had, there were no other choices.

Activating a rune to make her quieter and harder to notice, not that it really mattered in this rain, Liz set of carefully.

If she found a good spot to climb a tree and move from tree to tree, she would. Otherwise she was stuck walking through the ever muddier ground, keeping her eyes peeled either way for a sign of her sister.

Elena Crow

Date: August 1, 2017 - 1:00pm
Location: New York Bound - Jet

Elena looked out the window, frowning, as she reflected on the events of the day. The train crash hadn't been all that incredibly far from the middle of nowhere house she called home, maybe a 5 hour drive, and it hadn't taken long for her to get a call.

She'd packed and headed out, taking longer than she probably should have. She didn't particularly want to leave the solidarity of the woods, but knew she had no real choice otherwise.

The Dark Shadows were moving. It was clear to her that bigger things were coming. Maybe it was war. Maybe it would be like it always had been.

Either way, she knew things needed to change. Everywhere. Everything. Everyone. Things couldn't remain how they were.

It was times like this that she wished she could contact her best friend. Hell, would Paulie even answer? Did she ever wonder about Elena?

She shook her head lightly, leaning back into her seat and sipping on the wine she'd requested.

Whatever was going to happen, someone higher than her felt that she was needed on site for missions. With any luck she'd continue operating on a solo basis, but her gut told her that wasn't going to be the case.

Time: 3:13pm
Location: New York streets

Elena stepped out of the car in front of the Codex building, sighing and waving the driver off.

Entering the front door, she flashed a badge and continued walking.

"Tell them I'm here," Elena called out with a wave behind her.

She continued up the stairs, preferring them over elevators, with a runners bag strapped to her back carrying her supplies. Several scrolls, notebooks, everything she thought she might need for whatever they wanted her for.

"The Artist, present and reporting for activity," she murmured to the secretary.

Roger Roger.

I'll move the CS over in a bit and get my prologue post up hopefully tonight.
Edit:
As always, let me know if anything needs changed with my post.

Lillian looked at the present with fascination. She reached out for it, hesitating and looking at Decoy with a look that said 'Is this really for me?'

The wrapping was pretty, she decided, with pink and purple. She almost didn't want to open it and ruin it.

Well, maybe if I do it carefully...

Listening to Decoy explain the things, she managed to barely tear the wrapping, carefully folding it for safe keeping.

Looking up at the end of the explanation, Lillian raised her hand.

"Decoy, sir? I had several questions. Umm, how long do these things last? Does mine have a dinosaur setting? Can it roar? Can we try them out now?" She stopped long enough to breathe, launching right back at it. "Do I have to keep going to school? You mentioned a mission, what does that entail? What are these made out of?"

She stopped again, grinning sheepishly, having realized she was speaking way too fast.
"I'm sorry, sir. I should've started by saying thank you. I'd hug you if I could. It's really nice and thoughtful and the wrapping was oh so pretty... It's a nice change from school."

Lillian looked around happily, eyes bright with enthusiasm. "It's not fair, though. I should be able to hug you for being nice. Nice people get hugs." With that final statement her eyes landed on Messiah, her face turning pink as she looked away quickly.

Her hand felt over the smooth device absently. It wasn't cold, but it wasn't warm. With a frown, she looked back at the protection. "Can it get warm? Like computers. Or cellphones running games."

Her brow furrowed as her frown deepened.

"I don't understand it. How it's light and smooth and it doesn't smell like technology and metal and it doesn't make all this noise like other stuff does. Like Elliot breathing harder than the others, or Alessa smelling nicer than the others. Oh. Sorry... But everything else makes sense if I think about it..."

Lillian hugged the device to her chest as she waited, nervous over all the talking she'd just done. It may very well have been the most anyone had heard her say since she'd joined the Wards, and she was feeling rather self-conscious at the moment.
@ProPro
Well, like I mentioned in Skype...

I thought we were still running through plans.

But looking back, I think we could move forward with our primary plan and be ready for whatever starts happening at the Point of Interest.
@Carnic
Well, if at least one more person is up for it I'll see what I can do.
