Caesar - Eight Arms, Eight Failures

Caesar looked around in frustration at the disappearance of everyone yet again.

His eyes landed on Krabbe's ship, the giant claw and mast falling apart. And was he yelling something about...Saban? What the fuck was a Saban?

He pushed it aside, just proud of whoever had disabled the enemy ship so thoroughly.

And then his eyes spied the multi-armed form of the aptly named Shrimps. So the guy had eaten a Devil Fruit. Explained a lot. But man, couldn't he get any more impressive? He had to be, like, 4 feet tall now.

But hey, now he knew what a Saban was.

Caesar grinned as he ran through the options. While he could probably beat eight arms, he didn't like the idea of those pistols being that close to his privates.

His best options were breaking the eyes or the legs. Restrict movement. Bone kid and Slick should be able to back him up. And with those pistols, that meant the Captain and Dirk should be coming top side soon.

He knew there was an order in times like this, but forget that.

He was the Fighter. He was the combat specialist. He was made for this.

"Bonesword, get some plant invasion going! Slick, stop his movement with that oil! Hell, burn that pipsqueak where he stands if you won't burn my precious fur!" he called out as he dashed forward, sending several Omni Slashes at Prime's eyes and head and chest as he weaved forward in a random route to be harder to hit.

His Target was simple:
He was going to cut the beanstalk down from its trunk.

Assuming Slick got the oil down in time, if he even did it, Caesar would use it to slide between Prime's legs and slice with his machete using the increased momentum to his advantage. If not, he'd just have to run it and go for the legs. Maybe he could slip around the guy and get him from behind.

And, of course, he hoped that his Shield ability would stop bullets if needed. He'd never tried that before... Now was a good time as any!
@Sickle-cell
I mean, it's not like she's dumb enough to do something crazy with the new power she holds. She may very well start releasing cures for common diseases through the CDC for all we know. XD
Toxic Taint
Center for Disease Control, Boston

21st January, 2011
Time - 9:40am

Alice walked up to the backdoor of the building, casually and confidently as if she owned the place.

Because, hell, she would own the place within the hour.

With a flick of her hair, it turned from black to a natural redhead, and her eyes changed to a dull blue. She dropped about four inches and gained 20 pounds, her nails growing longer and turning a sparkling blue.

Between her administration attire, briefcase, and looks, she easily passed for a higher up in the building.

Specifically the highest up on the building, a certain Lauren Kite, whom had just entered the building from the front doors.

Alice grinned as she knocked on the door. Hard, sharp raps. Quickly a face off a portly security guard appeared, his face bored and then contused and finally anxious as he looked at her. The door speaker buzzed a second later.

"Miss Kite! Is there a problem?"

Pressing the button languidly, Alice shifted her vocal cords in an instant. She'd done her research over the last week. "No, Mr. Davis. I merely wished to enter through the rear as to inspect the morning procedures in Zone 11. If you would kindly release the door...?"

The face grew worried. "I'm sorry, Ma'am, but I have to see a badge..." His reply came with the sound of strain.

"I would happily, if I hadn't left it in my office as I left in a hurry last night. It was my anniversary, I'm sure you heard."

"Ah, yes, Ma'am, but procedure -"

She waved to cut him off. "I am trumping procedure, Mr. Davis. Just this once I would like to add."

The door buzzed and swung open, and Alice walked right in with a Curt nod at the embarrassed guard.

Moving forward, she walked through several hallways before arriving at Zone 11. Looking through the bulletproof, shatterproof glass she observed the various employees going about business as usual. Tubes full of mysteries substances were moved, put into machines, tested...

And she knew what each of them were.
Bubonic Plague. Measles. Yellow Fever. E. Coli. And many more.

She could feel them calling to her. She smiled. Yes, this was the perfect place for her.

She turned around and walked to the elevator, pressing 3N to head for the administrator's office. It was time she met with Miss Kite in person.

As she excited the lift, she entered the bathroom briefly. Just long enough to swap back to her preferred form. Hazel eyes and Raven black hair were do much prettier when combined with a slender, yet curvy, figure. She left the nails, however, as they were pretty.

Walking up to the secretary, Alice flashed a bright smile.
"I have a meeting with Miss Kite, 9:45."

The secretary looked up from the computer, nodding slightly as she looked over a clipboard. Pressing a button, the man spoke into a walkie talkie type of device.
"Miss Kite, your 9:45 is here. Yes, I'll send her in."

He nodded towards Alice, motioning at the elaborate wooden doors to his left, surreptitiously locking the door behind her.

10:00am

Alice sat with her feet on a small glass coffee table near a window, looking out towards Boston. Being a bit set apart from the main City really had it's safety perks... And it helped Alice get what she wanted easily.

Reflecting on her plan, Alice had to admit she'd outdone herself this time. It had taken the whole week to create the little virus she'd been releasing throughout the building with every touch of a surface, particularly on physical contact with Miss Kite.

Anyone picking up the virus in the building would have their neural receptors primed to be almost fanatical towards Alice's voice. Almost like a synthetic obsessive love drug.

And within a few hours, the entire facility would be at get beck and call, and she'd have easy access to some of the most dangerous diseases, bacteria, and viruses known to mankind for her to experiment with.

Ah, today was a good day.
Slowly working on Toxic post. Just exhausted. So it probably won't be until tomorrow.

But it's mostly done, and @Sickle-Cell... You're definitely going to regret giving me the idea all that much sooner about the CDC.

Lillian jumped up at the end of Decoy's talk, moving towards the door before stopping with her hand on the knob.

"Oh. Sorry. I got ahead of myself. I was going to just head straight to training before we even decided we were done talking here!" she mused aloud. But she didn't let go of the door, one would easily notice. Or... We can go now and talk tactics down there, right?" She asked towards Decoy and Alessa, excitement very easily seen across her face.

Jason quickly picked up the two guards, dragging then towards a train car nearby. Dropping them in, a little roughly, he shut the door. He wasn't sure if there was a hatch or another door he was missing, but he was working on the belief that this was the only easily accessible door.

Taking the handle, he applied his power to it and punched it as hard as he could. The metal bent, making the normal access to open the car useless.

Walking back to the others, he inspected his hands. He'd have some ugly bruising from the metal, but he was fairly certain nothing was broken.

Being last to arrive, given he'd taken it upon himself to take care of the bodies, he listened to Heartless before the man took off.

"There should be a back loading dock we can enter through, or this here door," Jason continued from where Heartless had left off."Your call. Also, S, I could toss you up onto the roof if you think you could ignore it and drop in on them when we're ready. Bit of a surprise, eh? I wouldn't mind going through the front door myself. Maybe get them from several angles to finish this quickly. Seems like a good idea to me."
@Sickle-cell
It's alright, my brain was working towards that plan anyways. XD
@Sickle-cell
Ah ha!
I'll get a post up when I go to break with her entering the Center of Disease Control main building for Boston.
@Sickle-cell
Today will likely be busy for me, so I'm not sure collab work would be a good idea, but I'm still down for it. I'm mostly just having difficulty deciding what a good starting point for her would be.
I was hoping to post tonight, but I just can't decide where to bring Toxic in at... >>
I'll look at having a post up tonight or tomorrow.
