After catching up on the series via Netflix and Hulu, if this doesn't pick up I'll likely make one for Supernatural based around the whole 5 Families of Chicago plot line.

Titans of Gotham [Spots Available!]

I've watched the shows ever since they debuted. I'll admit they're not perfect, but by no means are that bad. They changed just enough for tv and making it it's own universe, and I've enjoyed watching Diggle progress from bodyguard into his new alias Spartan. I look forward to Hawkman and Hawkgirl the most in LoT, and the heroes like Vixen set to appear in the rest of the current seasons of Flash and Arrow. I also dig the rumor of a rotating group beyond the first season of LoT, and the possible return of Constantine.

It'll also be sweet if the rumored Flash/Supergirl crossover happens. While I don't watch Supergirl, it'd be cool to see other characters introduced in her show in the broader universe like Red Tornado...

@DrewVonAwesome I LOVE that you used the alias Jake Olsen for Thor. Right around the year 2000 was one of the only times I've thoroughly enjoyed a Thor title on a monthly basis, and that's where that was introduced. Surprised you didn't just call him his original alias, Donald Blake. Still, I'm enjoying what you're doing with the Odinson thus far.

...and I went ahead and made that Northstar post and set up the fight he'll be having with the three remaining members of the Wrecking Crew. In case anyone forgot, Thunderball was one of the first villains 3D Man defeated that turned out to be a shapeshifting Skrull impersonating the super smart member of the villainous team.

Brooklyn, NY, 11:44 am....

Even the young pretty Russian girls glanced up a time or two despite their body building boyfriends and mob affiliated family members being around. This didn't matter of course when they wore such big sunglasses. Enjoying the warmth while they still could, by late September the weather would turn cold and then they would get to wear their expensive coats and boots. Northstar, out of costume and on his third floor terrace, was quite the sight for some of them.

It was just under twenty-eight hundred miles back to Twin Peaks, Washington, so any time Louis got home sick it would only take around twenty to thirty minutes to fly there going as fast as Mach 10. It all just depended on which way the wind was blowing and if there was any more severe weather to avoid. Feeling it was as good a time as any to get some fresh air, Louis put on his Northstar suit and bolted out of his terrace door so that nobody would realize yet just who he was. The mutant hero was rich, but nobody was able to put two and two together when he vibrated his molecules enough to mess up any picture or recording devices that caught him in a clearer view. It was a trick he'd learned from some super fast hero in a comic book as a teenager.

"Tabitha is a sweet girl. A bit loud sometimes, but she's grown on me the last couple months since moving here..." Louis thought, now high above the city skyline with the tall buildings beneath him.

"It's still taking some time getting used to the pace of the city, I'm not used to this many people being around. Thankfully I'm not the only superhero on this side of the 'States." he continued thinking as he flew over the city.

Down below, a man clad in red and white with large forearms looked up through binoculars at the mutant hero.

"That really him, 'Dozer? Doesn't look like somebody who could stand against the Wrecking Crew..." asked Piledriver tossing the binoculars to their leader.

"He's a lot tougher than he looks. Trust me." replied the yellow clad steel plated villain.

"Even one man down, this guy's gonna get what's coming to him. Tonight. Nobody makes fools of the 'Crew..." exclaimed Wrecker with his enchanted crowbar in hand, "This thing can knock down demi-Gods, this mutant superhero ain't got a snowball's chance..."

Originally from Twin Peaks, Washington, he declined membership into Canadian superteam Alpha Flight. However he may join another superteam based in the 'States if offered...

Character Origin & Backstory:

Louis Martin's mutant abilities developed seven years ago at the age of sixteen right behind his twin sister's. Louis was a quiet kid, but his sister had dreams of super-stardom. With their mutant powers being stronger in each other's company, the two were asked to join the superteam Alpha Flight at the age of twenty. Jeanne Marie took them up on the offer and took the name Aurora, however Louis continued his skiing and was somewhat of a local celebrity.

Louis used his knowledge of skiing and wrote a few books for aspiring skiers over the next two years as well as a fictional novel about a group of friends at a ski lodge with a hot tub time machine. His sister became a superhero in her own right, and came out about being a lesbian. Some time after however, Jeanne Marie was killed in the line of duty by a Wendigo which sent Louis into hero-mode. Louis assisted Alpha Flight in taking the monster down but chose not to stay in Canada long. Later, the team would recruit a man who could become a Sasquatch.

Louis took the name Northstar and protected Twin Peaks for a year or so before setting his sights on NYC. Looking for a new book deal after success with the friends and the hot tub, Louis moved to the city while still using his abilities to check on Twin Peaks four or five times a day. Since living in NYC, Northstar has made enemies out of the Wrecking Crew member Bulldozer, Citadel, the mutant mercenary Killspree, and Tempo.

Powers and Abilities (What can your character do? What can't they do?):

Northstar has complete control of the kinetic energy his body produces down to the molecules and uses the energy for super speed and flight reaching the limits of near light speeds. His body however can only withstand the speed of Mach 10 [7,400 mph] without more durable protection and eye-wear. Recently he's been noted as producing blinding amounts of light as well as blasts of light energy from his hands after the mutant speed thief Tempo slowed him down, and his strength has increased slightly to match his durability and he can easily lift five tons. His reflexes and agility are also super fast and he can make sharp turns while in flight at his top speeds.

He's still not the greatest hand to hand fighter and lacks any formal training.

Wendigo War: While checking in on his remaining family in Twin Peaks, WA, a pack of Wendigos attacks the town. With a population of just over fifty-one thousand surrounded by snow and mountains, it might be a little hard for a solo hero to protect everyone... even with super speed.

Big City Showdown: Bulldozer comes back to take his revenge and brought his pals Piledriver and Wrecker from the Wrecking Crew.

Inhuman Adversary: Northstar has a run-in with the Inhuman duplicator Tusk, who was hired by an unknown enemy to take down the hero at a book signing.

Louis was still getting used to this new apartment. Spending every dime he was worth to live in Manhattan wasn't an option, so the mutant hero had made a new home for himself in Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn. Most of his stuff was still in the boxes he'd packed it in with his father, Jean Paul. He lived by the ocean on Emmons Avenue now, and on the other side of the harbor was a community college. Lucky for him, he didn't need to continue his education. The adventures of the friends he'd created for his first fictional novel were turned into a live action film a couple years back, and he was still living on the money he'd earned selling the film rights. Louis was also going to get paid for the second film featuring the same characters he had created and their hot tub time machine.

The hero walked out onto his terrace and looked out at the ocean. The seagulls were flying closely behind the fishing boats, eating away at the leftover fish parts thrown back into the water. The smell of the salt water and the extra bit of dew and humidity in the morning was something of an acquired taste. He loved it though, and when the sun came up over the top of the blocky U shaped apartment complex he enjoyed watching all of the women who came out to tan. Mostly Russians, but there were a few more diamonds in the rough. One such diamond was a southern belle from Virginia by the name of Tabitha, with long blonde hair and an accent as beautiful as her looks. When she noticed the dark haired young man glancing down every so often as to not be too conspicuous she yelled up at him on his third floor terrace...

"I SEE YOU UP THERE, LOUIS!" she yelled with a smile and a laugh, "YOU EVER GET UNPACKED?"

"I'M ACTUALLY STILL WORKING ON IT!" he yelled back, generally not drawing this much attention to himself.

Additional Notes: I switched Northstar's secret ID with his adopted father's [just sounded too French for me], made his hometown in the USA and based it on Twin Peaks [the tv series], and I also made him straight and his sister a lesbian as well as his inspiration for becoming a hero. The girl in the sample post is also somebody normally affiliated with the New Mutants and X-Force, and will most likely be his love interest if nobody else has claimed her [it's Boom Boom].

If your boy's top speed is the speed of sound my guy's AT LEAST ten times faster. He couldn't stand next to Northstar long enough to be an annoyance, might as well be standing still LOL
