POSTED. Decided to go ahead and wrap this one up. I've already got a plan on how to move forward, but it's still gonna put the remaining team members in a rough spot for awhile. PM'ing @Sigil now to see if he's still on the outs, hopefully not, cause I still need his opinion on the next course of actions.

Titans of Gotham [Spots Available!]

"CRAP!" Wildcat thought out loud as he came up on Rat Boy who was now back to normal size and nursing a broken arm and leg.

The hairy masked man was doing his best against the brainwashed Titan in Talon armor using a piece of debris like a baseball bat. Nightlife dodged the debris as the base continued to fall apart as the 80's hits still blared over the stereo. Wildcat carried Chester to the same spot where he'd hidden Zero, guarded by larger pieces of debris. Upon turning around he saw the Titans' newest member Hephestus coming in with a bang, striking at the Talon with his mystical hammer while shouting 'CALCIUM!'

The look on the red haired youth's face explained it all. The attack was not what the hero had expected.

"Is that you, Hero?" the Talon asked removing what remained of her headgear as she deflected the attack with her arm bracers, "The Court used my enchanted armor while fashioning my new gear... your hammer is as useless as..." Ves started to taunt before Leviathan grew from a single individual now to his usual composite giant form crashing through the top of the building.

The hero used his giant fists to strike at the Amazon again and again and the masked El Sasquatcho continued his assault as well as the new guy with his hammer. The female was in a roughly fifteen feet wide crater in the bottom level of the HQ, Man Owl creatures laid all across the floor unconscious. Wildcat looked on along with Nightlife as the heroes tried to use their combine strength to beat her into submission but she started to regain her composure. That's when another Amazon, Wonder Woman, floated down into the base. The Talon backhanded the giant man through another wall and made it to her feet, and the Justice Leaguer pulled out her equalizer... her magic lasso.

"YOU CAN'T BREAK FREE OF THE LASSO, VES. NOW... TELL ME.. WHO DID THIS TO YOU?!?" Wonder Woman asked with a yell.

The dead expression on the girl's face lead Wonder Woman to believe she truly did not know. After just a few moments the effects of the brainwashing wore off and the young female hero looked all around at the destruction she'd helped cause. Still bound by the lasso she fell to her knees crying. Leviathan walked back into the battle zone from the wrecked personal quarters and went back to standard size but still stuck as a single being somehow. 'Squatcho was the first to kneel down and put his arm around the girl. Nightlife, Wildcat, and Levi followed.

"None of this is your fault, kid..." Wildcat spoke looking up at the Justice Leaguer who had an aggravated look on her face as she pulled her lasso back.

"We've got wounded we need to take care of, Diana." Wildcat muttered rising back to his feet.

"Do what you can, Grant. I'll contact Batman and see where we go from here." Wonder Woman responded sternly, almost as if she put all the blame on the elder hero himself.

Didn't get to see Deadpool last night, it was sold out. And before we could get tickets to an early show today... it was sold out again. Looks like I'll be seeing it in a few more days.

Finally starting to feel better, so I'm taking the wife to see Deadpool tonight and when I get back home I'll likely post in this game first since it's Casual and the JL game will take a lot more time. Sorry again for the delays, hope everyone is still here!

All-Star Marvel: Audax Mundus Novus - Season 1 (Completed)

I don't think I'd go for All new All different.

I understand that it's hard for them to come up with new characters but at this point...

They kinda need to, or focus on their other titles like the Star Wars Comics. All the SW comics so far have been brilliant, they could do a lot more though.

Not that my wallet would like that.

Star Wars is the only thing keeping Marvel ahead of DC in terms of market share, without them both companies are pretty much neck and neck in suckyness. In the 90's the X-Men were popular enough they could've been their own thing and been in the top three with DC and Marvel, now it'd be Star Wars.

And it's not that they can't come up with new characters, the current Ms. Marvel is one of their breakthrough characters. It's just all of the others are reduced to cheap marketing gimmicks, the pressure of cross promoting and making them match up to films and cartoons, etc. Now we have FalCap as well as Steve returning with a new suit and shield, and Sam can't go back to being what he was because there's a new Falcon. It's like they're saying they can't put effort into making the Falcon viable in their universe and the broader scheme of things, but they can if he's using another alias and MO. Which to me is insulting as shit. Rather than boost the status of Valkyrie or Lady Sif, they give the power of Thor to a female because the other two just don't cut it on their own. Spiderman is a convoluted mess so they've brought Spider Gwen, Spidey 2099, and Miles Morales into their mainstream universe [though I think Gwen's back in her own now] on top of branching out with another Spider Woman series and Silk.

I've already mentioned wanting a solo Human Torch series, but other characters/concepts I'd love to see Marvel push would include Sandman, a solo Black Bolt [which would be quite a challenge since he doesn't speak], Cannonball, Capt. Universe, the Imperial Guard, Blue Marvel, Giant Man [no not Ant Man lol], Avengers Academy, Spirits of Vengeance [all the other Ghost Riders throughout time], Marvel Boy, a decent New Warriors, etc...

Some of their stuff has potential, but a lot of it just seems like a cluster****. I'd rather have a solo series or even a mini series for most of their characters who seem to just get tossed around in multiple team books. Then the ones who do go solo never last and fall prey to gimmicks and crossover shenanigans. I wanted to enjoy Red Wolf but they dropped the ball on that one early on. Then Black Knight fell short despite wonderful art and it got canned. Karnak's suffered delays as well as Uncanny Inhumans.

And don't even get me started on Spiderman becoming the next Tony Stark and Spiderman 2099 being stuck in present day the last two years...

All it takes to bring somebody back is a time machine, wormhole, or the usual Marvel solution of rebooting a title with a new #1 and zero explanation to how we got to point B from point A.

I want Johnny in a solo title, specially with that spiffy new suit....

I just like Marvel's approach in the comics. Can't use the F4 and X-Men in the ways they want? And only Spiderman when they pay Sony? Now we have Venom, the Thing, and Shadowcat on the Guardians of the Galaxy as well as the Human Torch and Beast on the Uncanny Inhumans. I'd have never imagined that would be an option LOL

I'm still pretty bad off at the moment guys. When I can actually get a voice out it sounds like Castiel from Supernatural, and while it hurts like hell apparently the wife thinks it's hot. Now it looks like my area is in for another few days of snowstorms.

I'll post as soon as I can to move things forward, with this being in Advanced I don't want to half ass it though.

Apologies for not having posted yet. Pretty sure I've got the flu. My head's been swimming, feels like I'm seasick, been throwing up, can't eat, etc... If I can get to feeling better to where I can look at a computer for more than five minutes without gagging I'll get a post up today or tomorrow.
