Dropped the Marvel Movieverse idea and went with a WWII theme I'd been tinkering with. Hope this gets more interest :P

So I finally got around to picking up Lego Avengers for my son [and me, but nobody ever thinks about that LOL], and I am in awe at how many 3rd and 4th stringers are in this game. I was bummed at first... no Fantastic 4 characters and no X characters meant no Human Torch and characters like Havok would be lost.... but then my son earned the Golden Age Human Torch in his most current SHIELD attire. I almost lost it I was so happy. Then after a quick google search I found out characters like Thunderstrike, the Mighty Destroyer, Jack of Hearts, Blazing Skull, Capt. Universe, and others were in the game! And arguably the GREATEST addition, Lou Ferrigno in the same security guard attire he wore in his cameo in the last Hulk solo film... but he STILL changes into the Hulk. Albeit just a regular sized Lego minifig painted like the Hulk.... BUT STILL. I almost lost it. 

I thought I enjoyed the first Lego Marvel game, but my excitement for this game has far surpassed what I felt for the other. My love for obscure characters has been answered in this game...

In World War II heroes and superhumans hit the scene in America. Captain America and the Invaders fought the Red Skull and Hitler and helped turn the tide of the war in favor of the Allies. As luck would have it, Captain America managed to beat old age after getting frozen in an adventure in the 40's after the war had ended. Steve Rogers would wake up some time after the year 2000 and begin operating as an agent of the United States as he did during his time in the Invaders, and he eventually joined the more modern heroes as an Avenger. In VI[or VII] Forgotten Heroes we'll loosely take the idea from the comics where the original five X-Men were brought to the modern day, the title itself based on a story in the later episodes of the Spider-man animated series in the 90's where six forgotten heroes were reintroduced as older heroes who would rescue Capt. America from a time stasis rather than a block of ice. 

The idea is simple, take ANY character from the Marvel library with origins during WWII and bring them at the height of their careers from the days after World War II into the present day similar to what happened to Captain America. Haven't exactly got the specifics of how we get to the present day, but we'll come to terms with our place in this much more advanced era just in time to help the now elder Capt. America take down a mutual enemy with ties to our past. Of the five or six accepted players I'll likely accept at least one original WWII era hero, but the CS will have to be superb and it will have to fit with the theme.

As far as CS requirements for now it'll be standard stuff with a Sample Post at the end. You'll probably notice I used this space to drop a Marvel Movieverse idea, I guess that ship's probably sailed a few times on here and got no interest but oh well. CS base for anyone interested in this new setting with a little more freedom in terms of what you can work with:

@Crimson Clover Looks good so far! Only thing I need to stress is that we're not in the Marvel Universe and there's no Danny Rand in the DCU. You could substitute Iron Fist with somebody like Judo Master, Richard Dragon, or Katana and it'd be alright. For the Brief Bio and Sample Post sections, just elaborate on where your character was at just before getting discovered/recruited into the team by Batman...
