Ended mission 001, left a lot of stuff vague so anybody could come in and reiterate bits if needed. The next mission will be a lot more hands on for everyone as we'll be facing off against some Cadmus Super-clones.

Everybody still alive? I'll likely have the intro to mission 2 finished today and if nobody's posted another outro from Mission 1 I'll just edit it into my last post. Everybody did a great job, hoped to see a little more out of some of your before mission 1 was over but it is what it is. Hopefully the flood gates will open with more creativity this next mission.

...and someone else did. The helicopter sent in to evac the group was outside, most of the ARGUS agents had already exited the surrounding areas around the lab as well. It was loud. Between the techno organism roaring in pain, the helicopters, explosions, it was hard for anybody to really hear anything.

Five minutes earlier...

Between the phasing attacks of Red Ghost and the pinpoint accuracy of 'Ed' and Daz, the blue humanoid defense robot didn't stand a chance. Once Team 1 had reached the panic room, Cecil cracked the security system to get the Professor and his son Ted out in one piece. With Daz calling the shots Team 1 beat Team 2 to the extraction point. The Red Ghost just kinda floated, Ed and Cecil were both out of breath, and Daz just looked even more like the Terminator with small cuts and bruises as visible as her cybernetics from coming into close quarters combat with the blue defense android developed by Kord. King Shark and Vigilante both got word from Waller to make it to the extraction zone, the two of them were both now players in a much larger game that Waller was involved in. She didn't want to lose either, but she didn't mind losing an alien or random metahuman criminal once in awhile.

"Holy **** what a rush!" Ghost exclaimed looking around at his teammates, and the two people they were sent in to rescue. There were maybe four other agents of ARGUS on the transport as well, presumably to keep the team in check. The giant shark man scared the fourteen year old Ted Kord who just cowered behind his father. Nobody knew what happened next. Was the team to be locked up again until needed, would they ever find out why and how the Prof. knew Waller enough to call her? Time might tell sooner or later, but some of the members of Task Force X would likely be dead before finding out the answers to some of the questions.

"Thank you. Thank you all..." Prof. Kord said to everyone on board.

In the distance behind them, a fighter plane could be seen dropping two bombs on the lab that were sure to level it and anything left of the creature. The team survived their first mission. How long will each of them survive from here on out?

So is he gonna remember all of his past lives and his time with the JL of the 21st century? Maybe before this game takes place an older Carter Hall dies at an old age, then 17-19 years later the body he's reborn in gets hit with the memories of his past lives and he goes to the Legion as they're looking for new recruits...?

I REALLY like the idea of a reincarnated Hawkman in the Legion, always wanted to call him Hawkboy if the instance ever happened in the modern DC era [him being reborn as a teen hero..]. I think in one of Frank Miller's Batman stories he made Hawkboy happen, but this teen Carter was out of control and similar to Wolverine with wings...

So long as he's around 17-22 age wise it wouldn't be a problem. The Legion's main thing is you have to have internalized powers though. In the new52 the Nth metal can bond with Thanagarians and basically makes them similar to Wolverine but rather than claws and an unbreakable skeleton the Nth metal gives them armor, wings, and weapons. Or you could just save time and say Thanagarians have at this point developed natural wings and just say its a new character. Either way, throw something together, I like both your ideas so far.

I like thinking outside of the box when it comes to DC's cosmic characters. There are so many aliens in Legion that would be awesome in GLC and vice versa. I'm working on the rest of my CS, but I'm hoping we've still got at least 5 players on board.

There are human nuclear reactors, androids, Nazis, other folks in costumes running around, gunfire and explosions everywhere, and you think people are going to react to a half eaten sandwich? LOL

Aside from Fission, Mighty Atom should return soon, and there's also Overload, Aegis, and then R2's Mysterio and my boy Torch who're trying to make way to this bunker under a community center.

I'll likely introduce another superpowered Nazi soon...

I'll officially end the first mission today and begin the second. Last night was just way too hectic for Halloween and when I got home I crashed. If anybody was waiting for me yesterday or last night I apologize, I completely forgot what day it was...

EDIT: 11-2-16 - Internet was down with my service providers for hours on end last night, couldn't finish posting or writing up the next intro to Mission 002 cause what I had in another titanpad wasn't saved. Today though after I get outta work in about 6 hours, I'm all over this.

I spelled 'Level' in the bottom right corner in Interlac, and I'll likely give you guys images with some Interlac in them. You can google it if you want or just wait and I'll post the universal alphabet in the OOC once more Character Sheets are completed. While 'level' is in Interlac, I'll go ahead and use numbers to avoid confusion.

I'll try and make micros for anybody who wants one for an avatar or stat card. Or you can just squeeze an image in that box...

Yeah I vaguely remember that one. The only Legion themed games I remember from before Guildfall were the two just before it happened. The earlier games where I used my Kid Krypton character... I barely remember those.

Sounds cool though. I'll post the Stat Card model and then the card for my Starboy/Starman. Haven't finished the rest of his CS yet though...
