I'm still very interested in this one. I'm currently running an X-Men game, two table top games, work full-time, and have a kid. So, I may be a bit of a slow poster but if you'll have me I'd love to join. I just wanted to be open and honest about my situation before jumping in.

An X-Men rp needs both of these in good balance. That's what separates them from high school rps or superhero rps.
I agree that balance is key :).
I have a question for you guys. Do you all prefer the downtime where you get to interact with other characters and kind of create your own stories or more organized, linear "missions" and things like that? I like to do a mixture of both but by far I personally prefer the character moments and stuff like that. I'm just curious how you all feel about it xD.
@Silver Carrot I'd honestly recommend D&D 5th Edition because it's so much more streamlined but has just as much depth and imagination. It takes away a lot of the unnecessary stat crunching and focuses on an Advantage/Disadvantage system to resolve most situational things that just makes it it quicker and easier to pick up. My group loves it :D.

@TheUnknowable I live in a town of 2000 people so I was very fortunate to find people that were interested. My internet is awful as well but I get away with the occasional Skype game with my college friends and some English actors that we met awhile back. The Skype game is soooo much better in quality but there's something about the in person aspect of my Wednesday game that you just can't beat :D.
