I know that this is late, but I started working, so I won't be able to reply a lot, less than normal. So apologies to those I rp with, I will try to reply whenever I can.

Shadow looked at the floor and pulled her hood up. "O-ok. I was just asking." That was what she was afraid of. Now she would be stuck having to room with someone she didn't know.
Avary kneeled next to her and put a hand on her shoulder. "It'll be fine Shadow." He turned to Joshua. "Are you sure there is no way around that rule? My sister is a bit nervous around new people." Though he asked, he expected him to say no, because Mr. Fellows made the male and female rooms separate for a reason.

Mr. Fellows turned to Souls. "Follow me outside Souls, I want to have a chat." He said when Joshua left. He needed to get Souls to not be so defensive here, and actually cooperate.
Shadow raised her hand meekly to Joshua. "E-excuse me? Is it necessary to have boys and girls separated for the rooms?" She knew nobody there except Avary, and she didn't want to be away in the rooms.

Mr. Fellows growled. Actually growled. A low primordial noise that had sent many a man fleeing. "Yes I do understand Souls. But just because you can't sort the voices in your head out, does not give you reason to swear in front of children almost half your age." Then calmer, he handed Souls a piece of paper. "Read it, memorize it, live it. If you wish to enjoy your stay here, then you will follow these rules. Small discrepancies will be dealt with swiftly and cleanly, and large ones will make you realize why some people call this place Hell."
The list was not very long;
1. No fighting the other students without proper reason and a caretaker to watch.
2. No swearing or vulgar talk in front of the younger students.
3. You will not enter Mr. Fellows office under ANY circumstances.
4. No leaving the Orphanage grounds without an escort.

Shadow looked fearfully at the yelling girl, the extravagant boy, and the extremely tall serious man. She was not used to so many strange people in one place. After Avary removed his hands she raised her hand that she wanted to see her room.
Mr. Fellows straightened and walked over to Souls. "Young lady, we do not appreciate that sort of language in front of the younger children. So if you could keep your profanity and hangover to yourself or your room, it would be highly appreciated." He said sternly.
