Might have to put it off till tomorrow. I've had a massive headache since I woke up this morning. I'll try and get as much done as I can, but the final product probably won't make it up till tomorrow afternoon/evening.

The big bad Zoru came wandering over by Desaius, and he was sure to give him a grin as he watched the other old wolf lay beside him. "Out for the tigers?" Desaius couldn't help but laugh before responding, "Well, not the way one would assume. I just get so tired of hearing the bickering from the young pack members about the tigers and the lack of food. I was going to go try settling this with them, but Lila wouldn't have it. She came after me." Desaius took a glance at the young Beta, then over off towards Aleu. 'Poor pup hasn't really gotten a breather since them pups came about.' he thought to himself. Clearing his throat, the old wolf called out to her, "Go take a walk, Aleu. Zoru and I can handle a few little boogers for a while while you stretch your legs."

Desaius's words caught Aleu off-guard. She'd never had much interaction with the old wolf, and was quite surprised to hear the grump actually be nice for a change. Aleu smiled a toothy grin to both the elders and said her temporary byes to the pups before slipping off into the wood to go find the male she'd seen before.

Shadow's ears sank back sadly at Opal's response. She'd taken her joke a bit too personally. Shadow cursed herself mentally, cause the poor she-wolf was just one of those who took just about anything to heart. Upon hearing Chincf's words, though, Shadow's ears tucked closer to her head, but more in frustration this time. 'Dismissed,' she thought to herself, but acted normally and got up from her spot and wandered over to Opal. Gently nudging the slightly smaller wolf in her neck fur in a friendly, apologetic gesture, Shadow offered, "I can help you with that. For now, let's go let the others know the males will be on their way back with this morning's kill." Shadow gave a small toothy grin towards Opal before hesitantly trotting off toward the den.

Following orders, Kai took his place in helping carry back the fat ol' goat to the dens. Watching his sister walk off after speaking with Opal, he knew she was frustrated about not being asked to help, but he also knew she'd never complain. That's what made her a great hunter and pack member. She followed orders to a 't', even if her better judgement told her not to. Kai slowly drew his attention back to the task at hand, his teeth clamped down into the other leg that Carek wasn't holding. A bit too close for comfort for Kai, but he'd manage. Walking with Carek, Chincf and Tikanni, they began to make their way back to the den. Glad that they weren't too far off from it.

1. Wasn't really thinking on it. This RP idea wasn't even mine, it was @Azkott's, but they apparently decided to not join the RP once it was up. I didn't put too much thought into this RP because it wasn't my idea. My original idea was a plane crash in Africa, but it was brought to my attention that a colder climate would make for a better RP because of all the possibilities that you can run with with it. So really, either or is fine. Maybe late fall. Doesn't particularly matter to me, hehe.

2. Well there's always room to fit people in, in my opinion. Some people can create very creative ways to add themselves into the picture. I feel it's only fair to the masses if it's left open in case they didn't see the RP before and find it weeks in, and suddenly have the want/need to join.

My mother died when I was young. My father raised me, and at the time that I was marked, we were going through some financial issues. I somehow by some miracle found the tracker who marked me and had him help me explain to my father that I had 'gotten a scholarship to a special school', and that it was located up in Seattle. It wasn't my 'home' House, but it was the one I wanted to attend. Ironically, it's also where my tracker was from. No one really knows why he came all the way down to Portland, but I guess that's where Nyx led him. To me. Now I've been at the Seattle House of Night for 3 years. Well, going on my third year, anyway. I've never felt more at home.

I've been good with a sword since I was a boy. Father put me through fencing classes from the time I hit 5 till I was 14. Shortly before my change.. after I did change, though, I became outstandingly well with a bow. Not perfect by any means, but I'm quite the marksman.

Before getting marked, I lived a very luxurious life. My family was very wealthy, and when I became a fledgling, they acted as if I'd died. They disowned me, changed their numbers and moved away almost overnight. Well, actually.. they did. Went to sleep with a full house, next morning the only thing that was still there were my personal belongings. All the furniture, the family photos, gone. I was left with no other choice but to go to the House of Night in Seattle. I mean, of course I had no choice. It took me quite a while, and me nearly dying, to figure that out. This will be my last year here before I go off and do my own thing in this dog-eat-dog world. I can't friggin wait to make the Change. It's getting to be too much here at this school. So much drama. I want to be a vampyre already, and not have to rely on being close to one just to survive.
