Absence Makes The Heart Go Yonder ~@13org (BST & FYR)~
"Don't worry Mr Vincent. I'll make sure to convince your wife that you're dead. I'm sure that she will be devastated by the loss of her beloved husband, but on the other hand, you will be free to finally be happy yourself, am I right?"
Vincent smiled right back at Bast. "Thank you for understanding. Now here..." He then presented a ring. "Give her this. Tell her you found it on an unidentifiable body. A skeleton maybe."
And with that, Bast and Haley made their way back to Mahigan and reuniting with Freyr along the way. Whether or not Freyr revealed what he saw, the trio would reach Mahigan without much incident with the sun out of sight and the night setting in. The trio had no problem finding Rachelle as she was the first to greet them.
After delivering the 'news', Rachelle handed you a heavy pouch with the coins within clinking even with the slightest shake. Haley was impressed and was about to remark but Rachelle broke down into a mess and began walking away, sealing herself off any possible interaction and leaving you with the Siren girl.
"It's stuffed as heck. I'll bet there's several hundred coins in there." Haley remarked. "Anyway, you sure took care of that smoothly. I mean, the Vincent guy had a solution ready but you know." The Siren sighed. "Well I suppose it's time we part but who know? We might meet again in the future." She winked at you before flying away.
With nothing else to do and the day ending, you head back to the guild and reach it by nightfall. You spot several tents surrounded by a modest bonfire with a large pile of wood lying nearby. You also spot Neil sitting beside the fire with white strings attached to his ears. Once he noticed you, however, he immediately removed them and put them away.
"Welcome back, guys." Neil greeted you. "The request must've been something to take you longer than the others. Then again, it might just have involved a lot of waiting." He continued. "Anyway, the others are already sleeping. I stayed up to wait for you. We should get to sleep soon though. I have a feeling it's going to be busy tomorrow."
'I think Tue and Bunny might have left us, unfortunately. Alas. They did help us handle a cannibal near Ambran, though.'
"Nnn...the girls that came with me just up and vanished Mr. Bart...I figured they'd be fine on their own though. I-I hope at least..."
"Really? That's a shame." Bart said. "But hey, we can't really stop them from leaving, can we? I guess the state of our guild right now isn't very attractive. They must have expected something better."
"...Err...I should have bought some meat from the market...Does anybody feel like wild boar?"
"I'll... Come with you. I might not be a fighter, but I can at least keep you some company."
"Oh don't worry about that, you guys." Bart stopped anyone from leaving. "I've brought some food. A lot of them actually since I thought there's going to be a lot of us. So if anyone wants seconds, feel free." The guild master then unpacked the foodstuffs for everyone present to eat for dinner. The bonfire was enough to cook what needed to be cooked. "We can set aside some of these for breakfast tomorrow but after that, we're gonna need a fresh batch."
After the present group were done, Bart was again the first to speak. "Well then! I suppose our activities today has ended. I thank you again for contributing to the guild very early but we are still far. We should all get some rest for our day tomorrow." He declared.
"Hey Bart, I think some of us are still out so I'm a wait for them, alright?" Neil said.
"Very well, Neil! As for the rest of you, good night!"
---THE NEXT DAY---
~Everyone~
The next morning had arrived and you all wake up to Neil and Bart pinning papers at the request board. "Oh, good morning everyone." Bart greeted all of you.
Meanwhile, Neil put up a weak smile and he looked real tired despite the day barely beginning. "Well, here's what's left of our food. We're gonna have to buy soon."
"A very unfortunate circumstance but something that we can fix by acquiring enough resources to feed ourselves whenever we want to." Bart proudly said. "Say, how much did we earn yesterday?"
It was up to the guild members if they wish to share their reward with the guild or keep it for themselves.
"Anyway, Neil and I have put up the requests that I gathered. Come take a look." Bart told everyone.
-----MAIN QUESTS-----
Greetings, I am Maria Corazon, a simple village girl of Sonarra. My home is in turmoil. My fellow villagers are tired from the oppression of our Varjan overlords and are brewing up a revolt. I do not want to involve my family in the conflict. So I ask this of you...
Please escort my sister away from Sonarra and to Boreal Port. Come see us in the outskirts of Sonarra. Please hurry while there is still time.
Posted by: Maria Corazon
Neil's Comments: Sounds serious. I'm advising caution. Armed revolts can be... chaotic. Then again, it's just brewing up so it might not be very bad.
Hello, I am Riñas Chavez. A Dark Priest of the Fallen God. I think I met one of your members yesterday. I am requesting a bit of help in the endeavors of mine. I shall not hide my mission here, that is to spread my god's teachings.
However, Boreal Port needs help right now and I ask that at least one of you meet me in the port town.
Posted by: Riñas Chavez
Neil's Comments: A Dark Priest? Jez is one of those right?
The guards of the Shrine-Town of Eros are stretched thin so we have decided to request for help for this mission. It is not going to be very hard and we promise we will compensate you for the trouble. Come see us in the Shrine of Eros for more details.
Posted by: Captain of the Shrine Guard
Neil's Comments: Not much clue on who Eros is but I got a bad feeling about this one. You should be careful.
Come meet us in Ambran. You may be the only people here that are willing to help us.
Posted by: Unknown
Neil's Comments: I hope we don't get these kind of requests every day.
-----SPECIAL QUESTS-----
To the newly formed Guild: How are you all faring? I have a job for a number of you, for a sum far greater than one would normally pay for one of your services. I require at least 3 women for this quest, preferably ones with taste in fashion suited in selecting fashionably dark clothing. If not...I suppose a man may do fine as well, so long as his tastes are excellent. Go to the southeast of the Tusilean Forest, and I shall guide you towards me.
Posted by: A townsman of Ambran.
Neil's Comments: Well we only have two women with us so one of us has to take one for the team.
"Help wanted. People to slay the big bad wolf in Lozagon forest. Reward negotiated after completion"
Posted by: Unknown
Neil's Comments: So this is written on a piece of bark. Where'd Bart find this?
-----SIDE QUESTS-----
Okay fine, I'll act normal. Ahem.
I request that one of you assist me in gathering special ingredients to make a special brew for a special someone who especially needs it. Like, REALLY needs it.

Neil's Comments: Looks like a normal escort slash gather request. Client seems really weird though.
"How nice of you to be so well prepared, Mister Gallagher."
"Huh?"
Apparently Nick's extraspecies housemate had arrived. He was so flabbergasted that he could not say anything as Agent Smith explained to him who was staying with him as well as the rules of the Cultural Exchange Program. There was also an evaluation somewhere down the line which would determine if he was able to host an extraspecies. That only added to his surprise.
Agent Smith explained that his housemate would be some sort of termite girl. Nick's imagination quickly formed some sort of insect girl but insects varied heavily and so he was in for a surprise no matter what he expected.
“Yeah, yeah, plural housing, whatever… Dolores! Get over here. I want you to meet your host family.”
Dolores. That would be her name. It sounded a normal girl's name to Nick but perhaps it's just like that. Men with boxes barged into the house and it was obvious to Nick that those were the extraspecies' belongings but along them was a girl. A girl who had big, red eyes and purple hair though her most notable feature were the pink tendrils that hung from her head as if they were hair.
She also had a... strange sense of fashion but other than that, she looked like a human. Nick had expected more... extraordinary features but he figured there was probably more to this girl than meets the eye.
“Well, that settles it! See you happy two in about a week!”
She and her men went as soon as she arrived, leaving me alone with this termite girl. Nick silently admitted that she was more humanoid than he expected but he would welcome her nonetheless.
"Uh, hello there. My name is Nicholas. Nicholas Gallagher but you can call me Nick." He introduced himself. "I guess we're going to be living together."
Hey, I've read Dolores' sheet and I'm still a bit confused as to what a Subterranean Hive is. Do you mind clearing things up a bit and maybe what it is based on?
"Open your eyes, Nick! There are over two million monsters bedding down in this state tonight! This state spent three billion last year on services for scum who have no right to be here in the first place! Three billion! Every night, thousands of these parasites stream into our country to leech off our people's hard work! And you wanna be f***ing chummy?!"
Nick gasped awake. He realized he was on his desk looking at some newspapers for job openings. His contract with his latest job was ending and he was pretty sure he wasn't getting re-hired. However, what openings were available were implausible for him. He sighed and leaned back into his chair and recollected his thoughts.
He remembered that he could not sleep due to getting a message that his housemate would be arriving soon making him very excited and anxious. He wondered what kind of extraspecies would be staying with him. There were so many after all like Lamias and Centaurs and Harpies. But those were the poster girls for the program. It was up to God who he was going to get. And was he getting more than one? Nick couldn't remember if he specified that. Now he definitely needed a job to support two. Sure, the government would pay for them but he wanted to give his housemates a better impression.
After a sigh, Nick grabbed his jacket and went to the door. He decided to go outside and breath some fresh air to set himself straight. However, he would definitely not expect what lied on the other side upon opening said door.
