"I'm not sure what's so thrilling about a bandit subjugation, it's not exactly a legendary quest. Perhaps if it was slaying some manner of wicked sorcerer, or even a dragon..."
Violette

"Good sir knights, have either of you ever seen a dragon?!"
Angenese

"A dragon? No. Never in my life. Should the opportunity arise I would leap at the chance to face one, that said, but I've not yet had the luck. But, I suppose that in its own way is lucky— Just as you said about Jeremiah, Angenese. That I haven't just means they aren't terrorizing our people, right?"
Gerard Segremors

"Yup. What he said." Jarde agreed with Gerard.

"Although in my case, I'd rather not fight a dragon. I mean, I would if I have to and to the best of my ability. But you know, I'd rather not." Jarde was honest in his words. He was not built nor had any abilities that could take on such great creatures. He would need considerable backup if he were to take on one. In fact, if he were to take on one he would rather let other, more capable warriors to do it.

"Being burnt alive before being devoured is a rather unpleasant way to go, right?"
@Bell

I see. I guess I can do that.

PM me for the RP's specific details?
Oh man, I'd love to get into a lighter Taimanin thing but unfortunately I have limited knowlege about the characters since I couldn't get into it much what with the dark themes and all.
Hey guys, I'm a little busy right now and not much people have posted so update will be delayed to next week.
@Stern Algorithm @CelesteEste

Finally got it started. Sorry for the delay, been quite busy as of late.
The Ark Sector.

This cluster of worlds stands as the new frontier of humanity. In these planets are the robots and humans that lead the reclamation of the galaxies lost to the savage aliens of The Swarm.

The brave Leo, inspiring the people of the verdant Bladine. The fearsome Drake, leading the inhabitants of volcanic Dostrex. And the astute Icey, spreading her knowledge to those living in the snowy Wizdom. These three robot leaders have the responsibility of protecting and expanding these three worlds.

But their duties will not be easy. Robot pirates and bandits stalk the remote parts of the sector. Not to mention the looming presence of The Swarm, and the fear of their return.

It was another day in the world of Bladine. Daily activities carried out as the city continually expanded to become bigger and accommodate more people for the reclamation of this planet.

But Bladine was not without problems, out in the planet's unclaimed wilderness were robots that chose the path of the criminal. These pirate robots may have their identities expunged from the main Data Centers and thus will die final deaths, but it appeared it was a price they gladly paid for fleeting glory and power. Some believe, however, that they have their own crude Data Centers from which they can store their identities.

These pirates represent a threat to those attempting to settle in the frontiers of Bladine as well as supply trains and caravans that move across the planet's cities. As such, much effort was being poured into dealing with these rogues once and for all.

You were summoned, by order from Leo himself, to a border station in the capital city of Sanginum. Upon getting there, you see a large column of vehicles that utilized anti-gravity technology to float just above the ground. A variety of human Knights filled the area, inspecting their weapons and loading equipment into their personnel carriers. You see the emblem in their armors, a black raven with a white star embedded in the middle of the bird.

You were approached by one of the Knights. His Cherubim armor was a shiny silver and his head covered by a helmet styled after the great helms of old. "Greetings, Miss Hyouka. I am Hospitaller Gordian of the Order Of The Astral Ravens. Sir Leo told us you would be coming. Let me explain the situation." He then faced the train of floating vehicles. "This caravan carries vital properties, supplies and equipment for a company in Guillian, the city to the north. We were hired by this company to protect this caravan as its contents are very attractive to pirates and raiders."

"However, we were contacted by Sir Leo to take a certain robot with us. Miss Camille, if you please?" A girl quietly approached upon the Hospitaller's request. She was a girl a bit smaller than you with fair skin, orange hair and green eyes. Her light armor was a light red like the coat and headwear she wore. Her weapon, though, was big. A heavily-customized minigun, slung over her back.

"Miss Hyouka, this is Miss Camille. Sir Leo told us that Miss Camille is... unused to humans. He said that this escort mission will help her get to know us, and you were summoned to help her out and to have another robot to talk with instead of being alone surrounded by humans." Gordian briefed you.

"Will you be alright with this task, Miss Hyouka?"

The planet of Dostrex was unstable. In fact, a volcano near a city erupted violently just yesterday. But the citizens of Dostrex were used to that and once the evacuation was lifted, it was back to normal.

However, the hostile environment of the world meant that not many venture out into the remote volcanic landscapes of Dostrex. It was a perfect refuge for those who do not wish to be seen. Those who hide from the eyes of the laws. Still, living outside of the main cities in Dostrex was difficult. The typical pirate do not have the resources to establish a base in such an unstable land. Thus, only the most capable of criminals dare operate in Dostrex.

You were summoned to a military base in Vulkan, the capital city of Dostrex. You were to join an assembled task force on a raid against a group of scientists who have gone rogue. They were conducting dangerous experiments using illegal methods. This all sounded just like your past, a mad scientist breaching the code of ethics to achieve something great. However, these scientists were apparently more concerned with Swarm aliens than robots.

In a hangar in the military base, you see a large assembly of combat robots. Some of them appeared human while others were most definitely robots. One thing in common though, they were well-armed and ready for a fight.

A figure approached you. She was a tall woman with blue-colored officer attire with a cool hat. Fair-skinned, she had long cerulean hair and fierce red eyes. Her blue armor was themed after sharks, fearsome in appearance with its sharp, glowing teeth. Her weapon was a strange, large sword but you realized it was no sword, it was a shark's jaw. At least, it was modeled after a shark's jaw. You see the gold-colored teeth in the middle of the weapon.

"You there. Vilkas, right?" She called you. "I'm sure you've already received the mission briefing. Do you have anymore questions or are you ready to go?"
Eddie & Dorma

The gas-masked butler blocked Eddie's orb and repulsed those attacking him, following it up with a heavy attack against Vanilla's barrier.

The barrier against the miasma will not last at this rate. Dorma still cowered behind Vanilla, not knowing what to do but knowing she had to do something. Eddie felt he needed to get serious now and brandished a pair of black shades and put them on. "It's showtime." He said before he glowed with magical power.

His next move was to get close with the butler demon with an empowered flying kick. If the attack hit then it's all great, one point for the good guys. If not, then at least it'll provide a nifty distraction for the others to get their attacks in.

Dorma realized what the mage actor was attempting and wondered if she should weigh in on it. She decided it was now or never and threw herself into the fray, her magic ribbon coming to life and ready to rend the butler with its claws.

"You're right, Sir Devaron. This is not an occasion for lamentation. It is a time for celebrating our victory. And if you would be so gracious to assist me in this celebration, simply follow my lead."
Fleuri Jodeau

Jarde raised an eyebrow, genuinely curious as to what Fleuri wanted him to assist with. He followed without a word and they came over to Gerard and the three noble girls.

With a confused and curious Jarde just behind him, Sir Fleuri chimed into the conversation. Greeting the knight and the ladies, Fleuri recounted the battle with the Bandit King Jeremiah. It felt such a long time ago, even if it just happened literally yesterday. It was Jarde's first fight and his first time killing someone else, something quickly noticed by some knights including Sir Gerard. Still, it all felt so distant now, so far away.

"Sir Devaron, you fought Jeremiah too, might you assist our friend Gerard here on recounting the battle against that terrible fiend to these lovely ladies?"
Fleuri Jodeau

"Huh, what?" Jarde was broken from his thoughts, suddenly having the spotlight. "Oh, uhh..." What happened in that battle again? Nothing came up in Jarde's head but fortunately, Sir Gerard continued his account and allowed Jarde to organize his thoughts. But what does he say, how does he say it? These were noblewomen, not his neighbors who knew how he talked and would get his slang.

"It wasn't until our dear Artificer, who unfortunately couldn't attend tonight, blew him up that I landed a solid hit— right at the end. Sir Devaron here's much quicker on his feet than I— his agility, from what I recall, served him much better than my aggression."
Gerard Segremors

Jarde was listening this time but that did not mean he was at all ready. He decided to just go with what he knew. "I don't know about that, Sir Gerard. The only thing I did in that battle was distract the Bandit King a bit." Jarde countered.

"Oh but by distracting him, I bore witness to the awesome power of the Iron Rose Knights." He launched into storytime mode to the ladies. "There was Lady Tyaethe, oh she was a blur when she fought, using magic without flaw." Placing a hand on Gerard's shoulder, he continued. "And Sir Gerard over here may not have cool powers, but his style is refined. His moves are fluid, a truly honed warrior. Then there's Artificer Elodie and like what Sir Gerard, she made the Bandit King explode into flame. Like kaboom!" He made an explosion gesture with his hands.

Then he looked at Captain Fanilly. She was still talking with that nobleman with the others. "And then there was the Captain. She was new and green certainly, but she showed no fear. The Bandit King had singled her out in the battle but she did not back down. She stood tall, she stood strong and she ultimately delivered the final blow." Jarde still could not believe he got to see Fanilly again, leading the most esteemed knight order in the land no less. He was not sure what to make of his feelings for her, but he was sure that he was glad for this one-sided reunion.

"Anyway, Sir Gerard's right about Jeremiah. He was tall, held a large sword and was skilled with it. But with these knights in the Iron Roses, the Bandit King didn't stand a chance."
