A'ight. I'm a be a Summoner.
Here man, have some interest.

Although I'm more interested in where you got that image on the top.
Due to lack of players and my increasingly tight schedule, this RP has officially ended.

Thanks to all who participated~!
@Stern Algorithm

Hey man, looks like you're the only one left here and I got some bad news. Gonna have to end this RP.

Not only am I having trouble finding the motivation to continue this, I've also become really busy with other things and I found out there was no way that I could continue this. The lack of players also didn't help.

Thanks for participating~!

"Mm mm."
Sieglinde Driessen

Jane was unnerved by Sieglinde's smile. She did not like where this was heading.

"I just wanted to talk to you, if that's alright. I've worked with Tristram and Cass before, and Finn is pretty talkative. I don't know Leon and Maribel that well but they're busy. I was hoping to get to know you a little. At least introduce myself.

I'm Sieglinde."
Sieglinde Driessen

Sieglinde held up a hand for Jane to shake. This was bad. Jane had rehearsed her lines for moments like these, sure, but moments like these were not optimal. The carefree-seeming woman before Jane appeared genuinely interested in her. Something Jane hoped to avoid in this whole job. Damn it! She should have backed down when the party swelled. It was obviously trouble for her, but she stubbornly went with it. 'Less attention in a crowd', what was she thinking?

Jane should not be surprised. She was no stranger to bad decisions and dilemmas. And it appeared the fates was not done handing her more. She could shoot down Sieglinde, brush her off like what she should have done with Reverdin, but that would probably arouse suspicion. She realized she used the same reason with Reverdin and look where that got her. Still, the Mayonite cleric appeared not to be curious with her anymore. She needed to answer, and time was running out.

Several awkward moments passed before Jane grabbed Sieglinde's hand to shake. "I-I'm Jane. Jane Doe. Although, I think you already know who I am. A lot of people in the guild do. Not sure what else you want to know about me."
Not gonna be able to update this week once more, my friends. Busy with mobile game events (not a good excuse, I know). But it'll give time for the others to post.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

"You're Jane, right?"
Sieglinde Driessen

Jane was so lost at the scenery that she did not notice Sieglinde lagging behind the party in what was otherwise an obvious attempt to meet her. She was startled at the greeting, her head jerking forward as if Sieglinde was an attacker, but otherwise kept quiet.

Sieglinde, or Sigi for short. That laidback, carefree girl from the north. Jane did not trust her usual behavior, especially when she was a six of Swords. Her hidden depths did not concern Jane, what was more of note was her devotion to Reon. She may not be a Mayonite but the Churches of Mayon and Reon were intertwined. Jane cannot take any chances with her. Not that she took any chances with anybody.

Still, Sigi's cocked head and silly smile almost made Jane smile back. Not that anyone would have noticed with her helmet in the way. But just as the feeling of friendliness came, it passed to make way for caution. "Y-Yeah...?" Jane replied in her typical meek manner. "Do you... need something?" Why did Sigi want to talk to her? Wouldn't she enjoy talking to the other, more sociable party members?

"I wish everything could be as simple as this. There is a reason why most of us, Vieras never leave the woods. The way we see the world, the way which we interact with each other is different. The world outside the woods is... complicated. Sometimes you are forced to make choices you might not want to. The line between 'right' and 'wrong' is blurred, almost nonexistent."
Freyr

"A Viera, hmm?" The cloaked woman replied, looking towards you. Should you meet her gaze, you will notice that her eyes were a dark red but you somehow cannot see her entire face. "Never heard of them before. And you're clearly not a Wererabbit."

"But let's not shift topics, yes?" The cloaked woman then looked back to the sunset scenery. "Yes, the world is complicated. But that's just how it is, the bigger your world, the more complex it is. I remember when I was a child, my home was my entire world. Like you, everything was so simple. I never understood the problems of adults."

"Sure, I can go back home. Make everything simple again. But now that I know much, it feels as if I should do something about it, you know?" She sighed as she concluded. "And there's that saying, 'Ignorance is bliss'."

"And you, what brings you here other than this beautiful sunset?"
Freyr

"Same as you, to admire the simplicity of this view of the world."

"Well... that's a lie. I saw you by your lonesome up in this hill just staring and I was curious." The woman made the cutest chuckle. "I hope you don't mind the company."

"But I did get an invitation from Rinas, she's this dark priest from port Boreal. Said something that there's gonna a competition or something. Might be fun and a way to earn some quick money."
Yang Bethlehem

Haley took the flyer and with Talia over her shoulder, they examined Riñas' invitation. "Oh, it's an annual festival the village held. Weird, wasn't Boreal Port under Varjo not too long ago? I'm pretty sure Varjo doesn't let anyone celebrate anything."

"Perhaps they're reviving an ancient tradition from before they were under Varjo." Talia suggested.

"Hmm, maybe."

"Wow! Now THIS is exactly what I would call a Guild! And is this an expansion I'm seeing in progress? My timing couldn't be more perfect! Aside from that, name's Kira Gigas. You girls know if Bart is here or not? I'm here to answer his invitation."
Kira Gigas

The sudden arrival of the Beelzebub surprised Haley and Talia. "H-Huh?! Uhh, Bart's not here yet. He's out doing who-knows-what." The Siren hastily answered.

"You're here because of the invitation? Welcome to the Guild then, Miss Gigas." Talia took over. "I am Talia Bucchas and the Siren is Haley Wellington and the human girl is Yang Bethlehem. However, only Yang here is invited too. Me and Haley joined the Guild under different circumstances."

"So yeah, a lot has happened before you arrived. Is there a reason you're late to the party?"

"Actually, what are you good at, Neil?"
Vivian Altissima

"Vivian!"
Sylvia Altissima

"I'm not trying to be mean! But everyone at the Guild has some specialty."
Vivian Altissima

"It's okay, Sylvia." Neil attempted to assure the purple-haired sister. "Well, I'm... not good at anything. Just an extra pair of hands in the guild. Sorry if I got nothing to show, although I can't really do anything about that." He replied before looking to Ditzy and Ozzy. "But thanks for the kind words anyway."

”Hey, just out of curiosity, how’s the map look?”
Ozzy Skyway

The map was examined. It was a piece of parchment, heavily tattered but its contents were intact for the most part. The map was detailed, although encrypted. The shapes clearly resembled the general region of the area and the cities and town marked, but there were red-inked numbers and letters strewn about with lines connecting them or pointing to seemingly random points in the map. One would need to be in the know to decipher the map.

"So what do you say guys? Should we stay for here for the night or make for the guild?" Neil said after they looked at the map. "Though, do we even have tents to set up camp?"

"You... that... how? It's been common knowledge for the last two hundred years, parents used to scare their misbehaving children with stories! And even without that, there's the immortality, and the pale skin, and I was using a parasol when we came back from the forest."
Tyaethe Radistirin

Tyaethe appeared upset that Jarde did not immediately pick up that she was a Vampire. He raised his hands in defense. "Lady Tyaethe, please calm down. I'm sorry for not recognizing you as a Vampire, but can you blame me?"

"Back home, we never had any races other than human. Sure we were taught there were other races, but just the bare minimum like Hundi are doggy people, Nem are small people, Nagas are snake people, Undead were Zombies and stuff with Vampires being drinkers of blood. There was no illusion though, it was doubtful we were meeting any of these races so we all just nodded and moved along. We never asked what they looked like or how they acted because again, their existence was irrelevant to our lives. Uhh, no offense." Jarde did his best to explain himself. "As for punishment, well, our punishments were more... physical. Hehe, haaaah."

"You may say that my home village is pretty sheltered and detached from the rest of Thaln... and you'd be right!" Despite the negative-seeming remark, Jarde was glad to be talking about his hometown. "It's unremarkable and pretty out of the way. The only outsiders who visit my village are tax collectors and the occasional Church priest or priestess, most of whom I think are surprised that the place existed. The civil war didn't even reach it! Fortunate, yes, but we also kinda got the news late."

"Anyway, all I'm saying that I've never seen or met a Vampire until now. Heck, I gawked at Lady Maritza a lot when I first met her. Err, don't tell her that." Jarde's frequent laugh was now sheepish. "I'll have a lot to tell my folks when I get back home."
