Portugal accepted some refugees in front a statue of a Knight holding the head of a moor. Sad!


Receiving people fleeing religiously motivated violence in front of a monument to religiously motivated violence does seem a little unfortunate. Still, I'm glad Portugal is willing to give refugees a home in spite of the pressure bought to bear by reactionary elements.
