Ok so tell me about a rumor or conflict you have heard about that involves a the faction you were given. You can feel free to create new NPCs locations or whatever you like within reason.

Also 'faction' isn't all people who are on the one team, just broad classifications of characters. Two people in the Power faction might be mortal and intractable enemies.

@rush99999 I don't mind no, but picking someone doesn't mean they will have to 'deal' with that faction exactly, its just generates plot hooks.

Each of you will 'mark' the faction that you pick. Marking is how leveling works in Urban Shadows, once you interact once with each faction you can advance. Multiple interactions will probably occur, but you only mark once per advancement level.
