I hope I wasn't too late. :/
I am so sorry that it took me this long but I should be back now! For the time being... :(
The situation got really hectic after that. Milly and Mel became passive observers as Neva nearly killed a simple peasant, who appeared out of place in one of the wealthiest communities in Nouvelle. The poor guard and his accompanying Machoke were forced aside from the great bird. Yvetal, or Shade as he was introduced, telepathically relayed his displeasure of Neva. Telepathy was a considerably rare trait in Pokemon and only those who had natural Psychic type usually had that trait. Mel hardly ever used telepathy to relay information with strangers as she had always believed that telepathy was only considered with those close to you, at least that's what Mel explained it to Milly. She wouldn't even consider opening up with other humans outside of Milly at this point, but maybe to other worthy Pokemon. Regardless, that happened and both Milly and Mel watched it all unfold with an absent mind, not really caring too much. They both gave each other a look as if saying "Do you know what's going on?" "Not one bit." Before watching the rest of it unfold. During all this, Milly's house guard and some of the plaza's guard had mobilized and formed a phalanx that blocked access to the stage. At this point, Milly had to intervene. "Alright that's enough!" She commanded in a booming voice. Her guard eased up a bit and turned around to face their future Countess or Earl, which ever suited them. "Who cares if Neva is aggressively protective. Who cares if Shade disapproves. Who cares if you can pet Neva freely. Let's just take a walk up to the Manor and have a nice, late breakfast." Milly strutted with a manner of authority as she stepped down the stairs of the stage, her guard parted and allowed her passage, but slowed her step to a gentle caution as she approached Sophia, not wanting to alarm Neva again. Milly turned to face Cheviot Hill and offered her arm for Sophia to cling to, just like Milly had wanted to formally escort her superior before all this nonsense. "Come on, Sophia. We can get those scraps looked at once we are inside." She said empathetically to the dainty blonde before turning to the other man, Korrigan. "You're welcome to come along." She said sternly.
Faire's request was answered, some what. The man very delicately placed her by the fire, which was a pleasant gesture but did not remove Faire's suspicions. As it turned out, the man wanted to interrogate her. Her vision was still blurred a bit from that hit to the head and the sudden rush of light from the fire. It took some getting use to as she glanced around the camp to gauge the reactions of its inhabitants. To her own amazement, not to many people took a curiosity in their captive. Did they not yet know she was from a nearly extinct race? They had to have known but Faire couldn't see any tells from the man who carried her or the Argonian who was almost assuredly the one Faire had shot earlier. Outside of that some took a few glances but they went back to whatever it was that they were doing. Very lucky for someone who wanted their identity to remain cloaked. Faire's vision slowly cleared up, she slowly brought her gaze back to the man who carried her, Nikolaus, who was playing the part of interrogator. A bit of an unusual name of which Faire had never heard of, but as she got a better look she could see distinct traits of Nord blood in Nikolaus, much to Faire's dismay. She didn't like Nords and would have preferred to toss an insult or two at him in defiance but this situation didn't need defiance, it needed compliance. "Nikolaus..." She practically whispered it under he breath as she her face creased with a bit of resentment, almost like she was insulted by the man's questioning. "My approach was an accident, a product of not paying attention, and my attack was to ensure my safety. Nothing was lethal and I had planned not to stick around to see if it was anyway." Her words were short and bitter as a bit of spitefulness was laden in those words. Not very appropriate or smart in this situation but it was too late to take them back now. She wrestled a bit with her bindings before she settled back down. She had hoped release would come soon.
Name: Faire Agarwen Age: Approximately 4000 years Race: Snow Elf (Falmer is considered insulting. Class: Arcane Archer (wielder of a bow and spells, primarily Alteration) Personality: Cold, short, distant. Hatred stews underneath knowing that everyone she has ever known was butchered in masses by Nordic scum and the traitorous Dwemer. For millennia, Faire sat in seclusion, dwelling upon the past did really do a number on her psychologically. She has an incredibly hard time trusting anyone, even though she has never had the chance. She just avoids people in general, especially Nords and the other Atmoran Races (Imperial, Breton, Redguard), due to the troubled past. However, she hates none more than a Nord (despite the fact her race started it), and would willing compromise her identity to silence a particularly ignorant one. She wasn't all hate. In her early years, she was well known to have been a cheerful individual who was a diehard romantic. She loved the idea of a true love story and the quickest way to her heart included the sappiest of poems and a bouquet of flowers. That was a long time ago and now she was different. Hardened but is someone who is very lonely. There has been no one in her life outside of her deities for over 4000 years. She does crave the warmth of friend and family but as no luck so far. Bio: Four thousand years ago, Faire was a famous big game hunter in Skyrim. Her popularity opened up the possibility of freelance work so Faire went from town to town, killing nasty creatures who would terrorize a town and whatnot. It was a thrilling lifestyle and Faire could double as an entertaining guest in any hold. Not only entertaining but some Snow Elf nobility and even one Nordic Jarl had the opportunity to experience her “afterhours”. Some used that against her and often brought it up, nicknaming her “Faire Game”. She hated it but didn’t let it show most times. Eventually war with the Nords happened and Faire was drafted into the military as things began getting desperate. She was there fighting alongside the historic “Snow Prince” before he perished in the Battle of Moesring. During the Snow Elven rout, Faire managed to run ahead of her kin as they were eradicated by the pursuing Nords. She made it just in time to have an encounter with the god of Luck, Sai. Despite not being an Elven deity, he offered Faire sanctuary from the pursuing Nords. Hesitantly, she took it fearing the consequences of siding with a “false” god. Sai had a secret alter devoted to himself built within a nearby mountain. It was often overlooked and only the most devote of priests knew of its location. For Faire’s safety and well-being, Sai commanded priests to deliver supplies under the guise of an offering to the location but they really were for Faire as she hid in shadows. For nearly four thousand years she lived like that. Hiding. During that time, she became rather loyal to Sai as he was really the only one who communicated with her at that point. She remained faithful to her deities, though. So Faire lived on. Throughout the many years, Sai taught her how to tap into her magical strength better, he kept her in the loop on major current events, and she honed her craft on archery and fetching (it wouldn't be good to get rusty). Her long life was due to either Sai or Auri-El, she couldn’t be sure, but she survived to this day. But now she wanted to see the world again, so despite Sai’s warning, she left in search of her kin. Sai did say it was possible others survived but he played not a part in their safety. Regardless, she couldn’t live inside that mountain forever. She had to leave. When she left, she always kept herself cloaked and disguised, cloak covering her body, charcoal rubbed on her face to hide the paleness, etc. Revealing her true identity would attract attention and who knows how people would react when they realized a Snow Elf was still alive. So she ditched some of the military gear she had and instead stole a new bow from a Nord and did what she did best. Hunted. She lived minimally as she wandered town to town, trying to pick up a lead on anything. The College of Winterhold was her last destination but it proved barren of information on Snow Elves. There just wasn’t a lead and now as Faire was writing her closing thoughts on today’s journal entry, she swear she just saw a dragon fly overhead. Dragons are still around? Equipment: Faire’s weaponry includes a steel bow in hand, a quiver of arrows (26 Iron, 6 Elven, 1 Daedric) on her back, and her unique Snow Elven dagger sheathed on her belt. Faire’s armor is a bit unique as well. She keeps herself cloaked in a massive polar bear skin, which includes a hood made out of the head. Extra items are wrapped in a deerskin pouch that she carries and it includes a journal wrapped in linen, two dry loaves of bread and bits of salted game, and a case containing ink and a quill. Lastly, her belt dangles a few items and they are a small tin of salt, a leather waterskin, and a second knife in a sheath for fletching and cleaning kills Other: ((Any extra information you'd like to add.))
Unexpectedly busy but I like to use that excuse when I'm not around as much. I haven't forgotten you all.
> I'm curious as to how Dreet-Na would know of the term "Snow Elf". Damn I miss my Argonian character. Yea, I believe Falmer is the academic name and probably the only name existing for her race right now. Snow Elf was most likely the invention of the surviving population.
Hi everyone! Sorry for the delay but I'll be free after Bio Lab tomorrow morning. So hopefully I can keep this going then! >Attack on Titan/Monster Hunter/Game of Thrones Those are my top 3 guilty pleasures right there.
_Im-Impossible_ Not only had the armored man resisted almost all of the Frost effects but he had also gotten behind Faire. Her quick feet and reflexes were nothing to shake a stick at, but there hardly a moment passed and the armored man covered more ground than her. There was no way he had the strength or speed to do that! In Faire's brief moment of internal panic, the armored man swept his leg across the ground as Faire stood there with not much time to react. Faire felt the man's armored boot slam against her ankle. A sharp pain burned around where the boot connected as she fell back onto the warm mud of the hot springs. To ensure his query wouldn't go anywhere, the armored man placed his boot, and also his weight, on Faire's shoulder which effectively pinned her. Wasting no time either, he brought his sword up looking to end this without even asking the simple question of why? It all looked so very bleak... As a consolation, Faire slipped her free hand into her cloak and drew her dagger while her other hand began to glow in a faint ember, preparing for a fireball spell. She was going to give this guy at least something to remember her by. Just as the two were about to exact their revenge on each other, a new entity, unmistakably a Khajiit, appeared and rammed his shoulder right into the armored man. His reason was unknown to Faire at the time but her safety didn't come clean. That metal boot smashed against the Snow Elf's head as it passed, possibly a deliberate act by the armored man to secure his prey. Regardless, it did a great job at stunning Faire. She sat there as her vision blurred and ears rang. Words were being spoken, most likely that Khajiit who had just spared her a moment of life, but she couldn't really deduce what was spoken. A fourth figure approached and Faire kind of absently watched him fiddle with her hands and feet. "No..." She groaned as she tried getting to her feet but felt the task being interrupted as she was hoisted over the shoulder of the figure. Some sense came back while she was hanging there and she lightly smacked the rear of the man carrying her with her bound hands. "Release me.. I just want to leave." Her voice was not loud or harsh but rather quiet and softly put.
Give me an hour at most and I'll have something. But only because I love you all! ;)
