Lataniva looked to Sandra when she spoke about getting into minds quicker. How foreign to Lataniva that thought was, she had simply considered it natural that it’d take a while. But, now that she mentioned it. While she had never remembered the exact details as she was no historian, there was something about this matter she could share.

@mackielars
‘… Stories tell, of a tyrant of Dalentian past. He held the power to overwrite the purpose of an individual’s existence with but a single touch, make them his eternal servants. After his eventual death, the use of our psionic powers for mind-manipulation was forbidden for the sake of mutual trust in our species. Use of this power against fellow Dalentians is a crime with no equal. … Maybe, the potency of the power dulled after many eons of disuse. I only overcame my mental barrier against using it when my life became endangered far from my home planet.’
So she shared a little tidbit. Then, another little detail.

‘What Dalentians do with this power is not take forceful control, we rather mold the mind so the target acts as it is beneficial to us, inserting instructions that activate under the right set of circumstances. No Dalentian can make someone do as they like without the time to properly control the result. The brain is a very complicated thing.’
Lataniva explained.

‘Perhaps, there are psionics in the world that use their power differently. That take forceful control and directly controls someone else’s mind with but a glance. … Those will not be Dalentian. We have our powers, that are natural to us.’
Lataniva theorized, and that was as deep as she felt like going into the subject.

Then there was that part about about getting clean, which took Lataniva could sympathise with.

‘Although I am used to spending large amounts of time enduring any natural fallacies of the mortal body, yes. Freshening up would be nice.’
Lataniva agreed with a nod.
@Kafka Komedy ... Maybe I should have asked, but is it still alright if it's The Rockers that she needs saving from and not The Community? Maybe not as threatening, but still... XD
@Dark Light This is reasonable and what I concluded as well.
@Joshua Tamashii Alright. I'll take that into account. Thank you.
@Xandrya Responding when I am spoken to is exceedingly important to me.

And yeah. On one hand, I read you leaving, and on the other, I read Greyson entering the Command Deck, which is... *stares at map* ... ... ... Where? ... I'll assume it's the floor where the War Room is and not the same current room. Yeah.
@Xandrya Just wanted to have responded before you moved on, but feel free to have moved on now. I'm kind of left waiting for the posts of the other two in that room, otherwise. Hm. Let's read up so I know I haven't missed something vital.

Edit: Oh, wait. They arrived in the command deck. Is that where everyone else is?
@Xandrya

Lataniva flexed her fingers a bit, having quite the time resisting the urge to grab Amy to read her mind and find if her claim was justified. However, she knew she had to live with being unsure. Lataniva had partly raised a hand towards her, through sheer instinct, before returning the hand and grabbing it onto her stomach.

‘Very well. I will trust this to be the truth.’
And that was all of that, before Amy headed on. Then Lataniva handled the take-off pretty well, she was used to sudden unexpected forces taking hold. Then she could hold on until gravity returned with a dull acknowledgment of what had just happened.
@Rune_Alchemist Nicely posted. Yupp. Quite the situation, eh.

@Pikmin Eye Well posted. Now, let's see what we can make of this.

@Joshua Tamashii ... Oooh. You're using Litwick's such burning of spirit to detect if there are nearby predators. Interesting use. Nicely posted.

Though, about seeking help, you write. I don't know for sure yet if you'd find any in the next part of the woods, but there were trainers in the Outer Woods... Anyway, can you clarify that a little for me? That "or" confuses me, if you meant in Outer Woods than it's seek help or not seek help, so I'd assume you mean seek trainers in next part of the woods, then?
Hmmmmmmmmmm. Eh, I'm bored.

@Pikmin Eye Here, have a post. I'm going to have Sleep act about the same as in the games, since so many moves cause it. That's how it is balanced. Since you don't have Awakenings or ability to switch Pokémon, I went ahead and described how it would go naturally. That's that. Your opponent was allowed two free moves. Yeah.
@Pikmin Eye

Unfortunately, this time, Nincada must have underestimated the reach of the spores, for as he made his way away and managed to get off his Harden, the spores spread on and reached him. Unable to do anything about it, Nincada fell asleep, at least for now.

‘There we go! Now! Tangela! Vine Whip, Vine Whip, Vine Whip!’ Lewis let out in elation, pointing forward at Nincada. Because sleep did not mean faint in this world.

‘Tangela!’ The Pokémon sounded out in similar elation and started attacking with Vine Whip, the tentacles of the Tangela lashing out with powerful snaps at the sleeping Nincada. Unless Martin managed to come up with a plan for how to wake Nincada up from the unnaturally induced sleep, Tangela would be able to get in two Vine Whips against him before he woke up. Given two Hardens, that didn't hurt all that much, but was still worth a considerable blow to the back of the Bug/Ground type.

As soon as he woke up again Nincada'd be ready for action again.
