Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Yo, I have a question. I'm making a character who specializes in rune magic... but how do they operate? Like traps, buffs and debuffs or something else entirely?

Will couldn't help but return the grin with a smile of his own. Charming in it's own way but Nina would probably be used to that. He stepped aside as well, not wanting to get pushed around by the rushing students who he earlier stole from. Hope they won't notice that or something. Well even if they did, he had some dirt on some of them so they wouldn't dare tell the teachers or the police officers.

"I have some extra money here. I'll lend you some and you can get a taxi back home." He offered. Might as well put the dirty money to good use. Will took some of the money from his pocket and rested it on his open palm, showing it to his friend. Oh, did she just tease him? "Well, considering that you did plan on leaving without even saying a word to me did sting a bit." He said, obviously putting on a hurt face to tease her back.

These back and forths were what he enjoyed the most when he was with Nina. Both weren't teasing in nature but somehow, when they meet, they end up teasing each other at least once in their whole meeting. "Well, seriously though, I worry about how you're planning on going through that rain without an umbrella or a jacket at the very least." He said as he crossed his arms and leaned on the wall beside him.

The bell's ringing was music to his classmate's ears and then they started rushing out of the door like hungry animals getting out of their cage to hunt for some prey. It was stupid really. They could just stand up and then leave the classroom quietly and that would have been absolutely fine. But no, they wanted to get out of the school they think of as 'hell'. No matter, it played perfectly to his advantage. He stood up, being the last one to do so, and headed towards the wave. They were too focused on getting out that they didn't notice Will's hands entering their pockets and taking some lunch money.

He quickly slid some into his own pocket before stepping back, putting on a face that showed his great displeasure towards how they were acting. But he did see someone familiar who wanted to get out of the class as much as the next guy. "Oi Nina, what's the rush? You're quite eager to get out of here." He asked as he placed his hand on her shoulder. His classmate and one of his friends besides the ones in the lower years. Most have actually wondered why he was friends with the group. Given his good looks, he could actually join the more popular groups but Will didn't seem like he agreed to that idea. After all, he was a pickpocket and that wasn't something he could do when he's surrounded with a lot of people.

There was a certain something in the group that actually made Will want to stay with them. He didn't care what it was though as he had quite a lot of fun despite their contrasting personalities. He turned his attention back to his classmate. "Didn't think you of all people would love to get out of school in this horrible weather." He said before gesturing back at the windows which was being pelted with raindrops.

"Heading towards the pharmacy area, that's what we planned on doing. Seems like a good idea." Alexander replied as he looked at Nick. "Might have to fly solo though but I don't mind." It wasn't a bright idea considering all the zombies that are present in the apartment area which he'll have to go through to reach the area where the pharmacy was located. Seemed like a challenge and Alexander was more than willing to do it. He could just use the alleyways that he has been using ever since he transferred here to get to his destination without getting harmed.

But help would be quite appreciated. He didn't say that out loud though. "Good luck out there then Nick. Ain't going with anyone?" He asked. Knowing the guy, he might openly refuse anyone who tried to extend their help to him but Alexander was just making sure.
All prepped and ready to go.

"We can maybe grab those gas cans after we get the medicines..." Alexander said out loud but he was really just thinking about it. "We need to get all the supplies in here too before we leave." He continued to say but he wasn't really saying it to anyone. It was more like he was talking to himself and trying to balance the time periods. Although it wasn't necessarily his job, he just decides that it would be better for him to see the smaller picture before moving on to the bigger one. Right now, the big one was getting out of here, the smaller one was its preparation.

But he didn't seem to notice that he said any of those out loud before he left his position to head towards where they kept the supplies to count how long it will last them. They were going out again later in the day so he might as well try to count how many they'll need. If they're going out tonight, they would at least need another week's worth of supplies before they move out. Then there were the gas cans. Ah, they'd need to mobilize a bigger force for that.

Before he left though, a smile was on his face as he thought about it. "Another mass scavenging mission." He muttered to himself. The thought excited him. It meant that all scavengers, scouts and potential fighters would go out and start collecting what they need. He remembered them doing it when they ran low on supplies before.

Alex could only chuckle when Liz included cigarettes in their shopping list but he couldn't care less. That was her personal need and so he would happily collect it. Or rather, he might get bludgeoned by that crowbar if he said no. The thought made him nervous. He may have a bat but he might lose to that person.

The scream made him tense and as soon as the others bolted through the doors, he followed suit. He imitated Moses's movement of jumping down the staircases, sometimes even sliding using the railing, but he managed to do it successfully having become nimble in his past times. He entered the bus and saw that everything was handled. Although the conflict between humans themselves weren't solved but the athlete decided to stay silent throughout it. Maybe he'd say something but he wouldn't worry about that yet.
I agree with Dizzy but I currently have no idea what plot would be good enough. I'll think about it though.

Alex looked at Liz and then nodded, thinking that the pharmacy would be a good idea. After all, they needed medicine and it they haven't touched it yet. Hopefully, there's something left for them there. Other survivors might've ransacked it already. "Sounds like a plan. Isn't that far either so it should be safe for our mad scientist here to tag along." There wasn't a need to look at the map since they all knew where it is. After all, they did live here before so everyone knew about the place.

"There are apartments near there but I think that's more trouble than it's worth. Too dangerous with only four of us." Alexander replied to Moses, thinking back to the map. "There is a small convenience store near it though. We haven't really checked it out so maybe we can do that while going to the pharmacy." He continued. He doesn't know if it's a good idea to have a lot of stops so he didn't continue suggesting any. This was sort of a short-term mission after all.

"So, what are the things that we all need to get?" He asked once more to make sure he could retain it in his mind. He might not be an ace student when it comes to studies but he was pretty confident with his memory.

"Then I put my trust on you, boss." Alexander said, putting on hand on Moses's shoulder before dropping it. "But don't think we can fill up the lot. A lot of these cars we saw are damaged." He said before gesturing beyond the fence. There were many cars out there, hopefully at least four cars were functional or one bus would be. Those would be ideal but it wasn't like his hopes could turn into reality just because he wants to.

He then looked at the pairing, Liz and Jane. The two were acting weird somehow but he wasn't sure why. He was oblivious like that. However, Jane did ask a question and, although he doubts he would be going as well since someone has to hold down the fort, he felt the obligation to answer it. "When someone's experienced enough and if the conditions are right, we split up at one point but we're never too far from each other. Usually by pairs though." He explained. "But since you're just a beginner, I'd recommend going as just one group." He continued to explain. Or at least, that's what they usually do when there are two scavengers and then two scouts, with the pairs being one scavenger and one scout. But this was an inexperienced person so the same rules can't apply lest they want to get in trouble.
