Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

True, Asher's quite... dense so this romance might take a little longer but we're getting there.

Name: Vincent Validosta
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Future Specialization: Necromancer
Summon(s): Lowest Grade Shadow Elemental

Backstory: Vincent lived his life inside the library. His parents were commoners and so he lived a lackluster life. He usually spends his time reading and studying for the future. He had always been interested in being a summoner as he has seen many with their summoned creatures and it piqued his interest, especially the necromancer kind. He knew that studying wouldn't really help but he still continued it. He also had a job in the library so that's where he partially earns money for his family and himself.

He enjoyed life. He had helped his parents greatly by doing more odd jobs than just the library work. He was especially close to his mother. Sad to say, Vincent's parents died. His father because he was killed by forest creatures while he was out in the forest doing his job as a lumberjack. His mother died because of some complications in her immune system. But Vincent didn't let this get him down. He swore upon their grave that he would be successful in life and he would become a summoner.

He almost gave it up when he hit his 18th birthday. This was practically the last year but then he showed potential to become one. He quickly took it up and is now on his way to become a professional summoner.

Bio/Personality: Vincent is a hardworking person. He believes that hardwork gets you far in life. He first hated the idea of the summoner being some sort of roulette meaning not everyone can get it, you have to be lucky to have the potential of becoming one. You can't just become one through studies. But he soon accepted that fact. He also likes reading very much. As a matter of fact, he never leaves without a book inside his sack.

What is sad is that he doesn't have a definite personality. He is careful when he's speaking, as if he's always walking landmines around people. He doesn't want to displease everyone so his personality is ever-changing. You could get him instantly interested on something unless it's something bad so that he can speak with you freely. He isn't sure who he is anymore. He just knows that he loves books and is hardworking.

Good heavens, if Asher manages to put it all together, he'd figure out that Octavia was his long lost best friend and that she loved him dearly.

@Framing A Moose

Wanna have our OCs be friends or something? As fellow necromancer-in-trainings.

@olcharlieboi

So he's good?
@Framing A Moose

Oh sorry, let's be necromancers together then!

Infinity Mountain

That voice rung in his head, ordering him to go to the peak. He wasn't exactly sure on what was happening but he was compelled to actually follow that order. Well, he did decide to clear some dungeons so why not start now. Infinity Mountain was one of the harder dungeons he has placed himself into but nothing can stop him, not when he has a goal in mind. He flew quickly through the dungeon, often using flamethrower to scare off or make other pokemon faint.

He was almost through with the dungeon when the voice said something again. One hour? Ha! He would still have spare time once he gets there. This was perfect.

Infinity Mountain Peak

He had arrived with time to spare. He landed on the ground and began walking, looking around and saw that some pokemon were already there. The Bisharp and Haunter at least. He then began to make his way towards them before stopping just a few feet away from the both of them. He then sat down. None of them seemed like the contractor so he should wait for that person before talking with other people. That's what he thought. He was still on high alert because of these pokemon there.

And bam. Hope you don't mind shadow being an element.
@Disciple Cain

Well that's how I could get them accepted.
What's the reason for the collar? If anything, a guild would seek these folks out so they can shape shift to their advantage. If they're a native race to Argonia, this sounds like a subjugation measure which would mean this race is considered to be... second class citizens, and dangerous. If they're not, this collar would likely still be a means of subjugation, but this means the race was magically evolved from some other beast to serve this specific purpose. So, they're bred for this power and advantage they have, but suppressed so they can't rampage with their power(s). In either case, they'd probably have a handler, and depending on the circumstances behind their creation and evolution, the social structure of the world... they could be seen only as tools rather than living beings.

Of course, these and other complications/details are things you might have to answer for in their creation. Because if there's one, there's usually another, and they may or may not be on our side.

For the collar, well I assumed that maybe their shapeshifting would be OP and that's why I put that out but the GM did say that it was alright as long as they can only shift into animals. Well there can be enemies but like my shapeshifter, they can probably only shift into animals.

Alrighty thanks.
