Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Will was willing to let Mason have his way. He's just worried on what will happen after she wakes up. Oh well. He simply shrugged in response to Mason's mischief. As they went through the maze, he idly began playing with the axe, spinning it and swinging it depending on his mood. Once they reached the three paths, Will frowned.

"I've seen enough movies to know that some of these are traps." He then looked to the left path where he could hear some scurrying. He was oh so curious. His grip on the axe tightened."I can check out the left if you want."
Vincent - Axis Agent and Layla - Halfbreed Angel

Vincent had been staring at the back of the seat in front of him for who knows how long. He had already done maintenance on his guns and he knew which magazine to grab if he went for a non-lethal shot. He actually looked pretty prepared for a full-blown fight despite this just being an investigation. To be completely honest, he isn't usually given an 'investigation' assignment and if he does, he's usually there to protect the agents inside. Just in case something else happens. He turned to Layla who was peacefully looking at the back of the seat, just like him. She had taken the window seat, of course, and her cane leaned on the side of the chair. He truly was worried for his friend. This was going to be her first time interacting with other halfbreeds, and the first impression wasn't truly the best. Hopefully, they'd get along. But considering that Layla was actually raised by the Axis... The black haired male sighed and shook his head. He hated having to worry about anything but since this is his childhood friend (and charge) he was talking about, he couldn't help it.

The plane landed safely and no one caused any disturbances. The last thing he wanted to do was fight on a plane. Who knows how that will turn out. He and Layla exited the plane, her hand on his right shoulder and his left shoulder was his pack which contains extra clips and magazines that he might need. As the others departed straight for the SUVs, he had to talk with one of the crew and they took out his sniper rifle and his pet dog, Ichi. Apparently, they didn't want the dog inside the cabin so they decided to make it wait at another portion of the plane. Glad that both his rifle and his dog was fine, he took the rifle case, which held the disassembled parts of the sniper rifle, and then headed out.

Layla had not spoken up in the SUV. It was surprising, really, given that she was friendly and would often strike conversations with those inside, even when they were Axis agents. However, even she felt that it might not be the right time. Given time, they would all have to learn how to work together and actually become acquaintances with some level of trust. Not just people thrown together to form a group composed of strong humans and halfbreeds to counteract whatever strange force this was.

Ichi was the first to jump out of the SUV once Vincent had opened the door. The dog immediately went to Layla, offered her his leech, and the two started to walk. This was always what happened when they were in a mission. It's so that Vincent would be able to move out of the way quickly and not worry about anyone else. He wore his backpack and then headed inside. His rifle case sitting comfortably at his hand. Although he was thinking of maybe staying back and snipe from another position, this was also fine. The black haired male decided to leave it to the halfbreeds to search the destroyed place. He gave them enough trust for them to see this through. Surely, there were some privileges for working with the Axis on this unknown threat.

Layla couldn't help too much on the investigation, given that she was blind. Although her other senses, like her hearing, actually proved to be a good thing. She would be able to hear any disturbances within the floor without much trouble. So she stayed near the stairwell, eyes closed and both hands resting on top of her cane as she did so. She had also let Ichi go, so he could help with his handy nose.

The German Shepherd had followed the halfbreeds, Blake in particular. There wasn't any particular reason why he was following him. Perhaps it was because it smelled something odd from the room he was going into? Ichi then began to sniff around the room, and upon coming to the blood stains, began to bark but when Blake had already taken care of that, he had stopped and then proceeded to sniff around the room to maybe find something other than this 'blood'.

Vincent made his way back to Sonya after searching some of the other rooms which contained... well, nothing. "Nothing was in there. I bet whoever ambushed those agents stayed in those three rooms and got out there as well. I'm hoping that the halfbreeds find something interesting." He reported with a shrug.

Will quickly swiped the axe and headed back. He was more glad with the fact that nothing happened when he took it. Since it's just an axe, it wasn't too fancy. Not that he minded, at least he had something to protect himself with. Although, honestly, he would've preferred a metal bat, but he was happy with it too at least.

He made his way back to the two, placing the head of the axe on his shoulder as he walked. His eyes landed on Juliet first. She was sleeping so peacefully... but that wasn't what he was surprised about. It was that she was sleeping while standing that truly got him. He looked at Mason, "I could carry her for the meantime... but what do you think?"

— Personal Quarters of Prince Brendan Tromvara, The Conclave —
— 6th Day of Summer —

“Prince Brendan… Prince Brendan…”

Rivellia had softly called out to the sleeping prince as she continued to shake him. The prince had, unfortunately, fallen asleep on the desk while sitting down. They had just moved in along with the other new students and the prince was relentless when he said that he wanted to help. He had been more than just enough help and thus exhausting the male. The trip here didn’t help too much either. Brendan was awake earlier than expected so even after only an hour of tidying up and arranging the place, he was fast asleep. However, the problem was, they still needed to attend the opening ceremony. The female servant sighed as the prince wouldn’t wake up. She resorted to swiftly smacking his head causing him to jerk awake. This was an unforgivable action for a servant to do with their master and the punishments for other nobles would be harsh, if not death itself.

”H-Hey, what was that for?” He turned to his cousin while rubbing the back of his head. It wasn’t too hard so it wasn’t painful, but it had still surprised him. Rivellia was composed though as she stood back at a respectable distance from her liege. Brendan sighed as he leaned back on his i, letting his hands fall onto his lap. ”Sorry. Getting your nap disturbed by someone smacking you behind the head isn’t the most pleasant of things.”

“No need to apologize Prince Brendan. In fact, it is only rightful that you punish me for my rudeness.” Rivellia knew the consequences of her actions but she was more than prepared for it. Given Brendan’s attitude, she knew that he wouldn’t want to dish out any sort of punishment, especially to her, his best friend and cousin.

He opened his mouth, about to say that he has no want or need to partake in giving any punishments. But when he looked at her, it was like she was saying that she would leave him unattended, undefended and unaccompanied if he does not do anything. She was actually training him to act like a prince. He was too lenient when it came to his commoners, especially his servants. Brendan stood up and sighed, ”Fine. Your punishment will be sitting through the whole Grand Keeper’s speech. I had heard that it is usually long, and usually, extremely boring.” He said with a grin and a thumbs up.

It was probably because they were of the same age, born at the same time, that they are able to converse like this. A casual conversation between a master and his servant, actions that can only be done between peers, a friendly relationship of two people in different social statuses. Of course, the fact that he was still a prince and she a servant made these things unacceptable so they never dared show this to others. Not because of the fear of ruining his reputation, no of course not; he feared that he would lose his trusted friend.

“Milord, you are aware that your punishment does not affect me in any way correct?” Rivellia pointed out to which Brendan just shrugged. He couldn't care less. That was his decision and he was not taking it back.

”I know. What do you think of the Academy so far?”

“Why ask me Prince Brendan?”

”Shouldn't a prince value what his subordinates say?” Brendan replied as he folded his arms neatly behind his back.

“That must be the most princely thing you have ever said on this day.” Rivellia replied and Brendan simply smiled at her. “I find this place quite nice and is great for nobles to socialize with each other. This will be a good place for your growth Prince Brendan, both as a person and as a prince.” She replied honestly, gazing out of the window. “However… I will miss our kingdom.”

Brendan nodded, thankful that she had replied to him. ”Hm, well, I'm sorry for dragging you all the way here.” Rivellia opened her mouth to say something but Brendan raised his hand to silence her. ”But there's no one else I can count on beside you. So I hope you'll stick with me until the end Flare.”

Rivellia smiled at her liege and then bowed. “I will always be by your side my prince. That is what I swore to do.” She looked out the window. “We must depart lest we be late for the Grand Keeper’s speech.”

The blond prince nodded. He grabbed his coat and put it on. He stretched his arms to loosen it and then his back. Hm, it's not very pleasant to fall asleep like that. He hold know all too well. His back is bad enough as it is. He really should stop doing this. ”Alright, let's go shall we?”

— The Imperial Great Hall, The Conclave —

Brendan tried to keep his posture for the entirety of the speech, idly looking around every now and then, but not too much as to not draw any attention to him. He could already see people he knew - Prince Ydrian, Princess Aleandra, Princess Rhelissa and Princess Anareliea. Only the last one seemed to have studied here in the Conclave for some amount of time. It had been a while since he last saw some of them, and admittedly, he was actually looking forward to speaking with them, Aleandra especially. He looked back at the Grand Keeper, boredom already obvious on his face. If anything, he wanted it to end quickly. As someone who doesn't cope well with boredom, lengthy and uninteresting things like these are his weak points. Hopefully, he doesn't deliver long speeches whenever they meet.

After what seemed to be a long time, the Grand Keeper had finally ended his speech. The blond prince watched as the other nobles had up and left to mingle with the others. This year would be great for making allies after all, and as well as enemies. Especially for some of them who are in line for the throne. He followed their lead and stood up and left the room. He could already feel the presence of his ever so loyal servant behind him, matching his pace.

"Have you found anyone of interest?"

"I've seen quite a number of familiar faces. Although with this amount of people, I doubt I would see-" Brendan cut himself off as he found himself looking at Anareliea herself. However, he was a little far and if the princess wasn't paying attention then there was no chance for her to single him out. However, she did look busy speaking to another person, a male.

"That is Prince Seldo Leonine Forletus of Forlonia, Princess Anareliea's cousin." Rivellia pointed out, just in case her liege forgot.

"Right, him." He said with a nod before turning around and walking the other way. A lot of people had been looking at the 'Saint'. Probably rivals for the throne. He'd rather speak with her in private, away from the prying eyes of her rivals. Besides, he certainly couldn't just waltz up to her and then just randomly start a conversation, interrupting whatever was happening before. He might not be too princely but he still had his manners. Brendan had been scanning the area for anyone, Ydrian or Aleandra. However, he instead found himself resting, leaning on a wall and just watching the nobles pass by. No one recognized him as the last born prince of Tromvara. Not many did. It wasn't an unusual occurrence, not by a long shot.

It took him some time to notice that there was another presence besides him. And the one to tell him that was Rivellia. Turning to the black haired prince, he absentmindedly asked, "Is mingling with others not suited to your taste?" Anything to hopefully start a conversation. At least make one acquaintance with someone on the first day. Who knows, that person might be the guy you're sticking with all throughout the school year.

Zaru the Chimchar

Zaru's eyes softened as he saw Pachirisu approach him. Even from the distance, he could see that she had been crying. All the more reason to get this over with. "Alright, I'll get him back. Don't worry." He had just become a member a few minutes ago but uttering these kinds of words came naturally to him. He then bowed his head and went back to the guild to collect his things. Once he was prepped and ready to go, he headed straight for the 'mystery dungeon'.

[Tranquil Forest Crevice]

Something caught his attention earlier and he had been thinking about it ever since. Something had caught them off guard. What could it have been? Was it an aggressive pokemon? An outlaw? If it's the latter, then it would be very bad for the Chimchar to have gone off alone. But it should be fine, right? Zaru kept his eyes and ears open as he traversed through the dungeon in search of the Growlithe. Hopefully, he hasn't travelled too far.

Will once more ignored Mason's pleas for help... or well aggressively trying to make him help. While he knew how embarrassing that was, he wasn't going to stop Juliet from doing what she wants. It's not that Juliet is a girl and thus has a higher priority, it's more like he's more afraid of what Juliet could say and do than whatever Mason could manage.

He looked at the two paths and paid no mind as Mason was dropped on the ground. "I'll take the risk and go for the axe then." For some reason, he had a sinking feeling about this road. Then again, he had that feeling ever since he got here. Call it a pickpocket's alarm. He began walking towards the axe.
@A Tattooed Girl
Hey, if you need any help, I'm willing to lend an ear. So yeah, happy to have you back too.

Reaver's last post was even before the discussion about tigers.

Avir

Avir watched as the tigress came back with yet another cub. Similar to the other one but he could guess that it was slightly older. "Well, I shouldn't be too surprised. I lost mine on winter too." He pointed out. Well at least this new one looks like it has eaten, so it probably knows how to hunt prey. Hopefully, please. He then looked back at Saaba as she said that they were parents for now. "The idea rubs me the wrong way but..." He looked back at the two cubs. "If it's just taking care of these two, then I suppose it's fine."

"Avir's the name. Yeah, guess so." To think he would be living with others now... now that was something he did not expect. Considering the fact that he had thinking of staying as a lone rogue until his life ends, this was something surprising. But he can't leave these cubs alone with Saaba. It would be too unfair.
@KiraChan@The Elvenqueen

Avir

"I can take her if you want. I mean, you don't look too willing." Avir said before placing a paw on the cub's head. The cub was pretty cute and he only needed to teach her how to hunt and they should be fine. If it's only this one, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. "You know what? I like the idea of taking care of her."

He then turned back to her as she crept off to somewhere. Avir cocked his head to the right and placed his paw back on the ground. Then she called out that she found another one. "W-What? Another cub? Bring it here." He actually sighed. How many cubs were left alone at this part of the forest? This place was too near to Vandrow territory and not someplace for cubs... especially orphan cubs.

Will didn't react too much to Mason's outburst and then shrugging. He really wasn't too affected with what Mason had said. Especially since the guy became flustered and then hid his face from the both of them. He just couldn't help but chuckle at it. Poor Mason. He always seemed to be the person that is teased.

He looked unsurely at Juliet as she shoved the pipe in his hands. He watched in awe as Juliet carried Mason... bridal style. He burst out laughing, couldn't even hold it in. It took him a few seconds to stop and then began following the two. "This is just too hilarious!" He said before spinning the pipe in his hands. Juliet was right, this pipe was a pretty good weapon. It was pretty sharp and pretty light.

"This is going to be a redundant question now... but where do we go?"
