Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Joshua simply nodded at her realization. Once she spouted something about wanting to help with dinner, it made Joshua instinctively look at his watch. Hm, she was right. Dinner was closing in and so was that meeting with Doctor Greene. However, she stopped near the door as if reluctant to go out and help. He cocked his head slightly to the side, pondering why she had stopped in the first place. She looked like she wanted to hurry up there. He didn't question her reasons for wanting to hurry there though. While the kitchen staff would be enough, help from others were appreciated and it does have its merits.

"I wasn't." He replied before walking towards the door to exit, "But thanks to the meeting, I am now." The guards, while many, aren't really all that motivated to work. With the head guards inside the meeting, some were sure to slack off. But of course, some are stiff and unmoving until their shift has ended. Statues that remain looking after the patients. Then there were the other guards who relax when not in the hawk eyes of their superiors. Then there were guards like Joshua who look like they're slacking off but is doing their job quite well.

"Are you going or not? Because I definitely am." Joshua said. Ichi had already made his way out of the door and is patiently waiting for his master to exit with him so they could walk towards the dining room.

Zaru the Chimchar

"I guess so. But if he's been lost in the woods for quite a while without much supplies, he might not last. We're guild-trained, they're not." Zaru reasoned. While he knew that most civilian pokemon knew how to protect themselves, they aren't exactly on par with guild members. They can't really last a long time of being bombarded with aggressive pokemon. That was the main reason why he was so worried about the well being of the Growlithe. Hopefully what Milton said is true. That Growlithe could handle himself well because of his type advantage.

He kept his eyes and ears open for any disturbances. It would be best not to be taken by surprise by any of the aggressive pokemon here. That was his forte anyway.
Javier was sent to round up a bunch of bandits and take them to jail with minimal bloodshed. It was quite difficult, given how barbaric and aggressive they were towards outsiders. Good thing he was with a bunch of other experienced Hunters. They were able to incapacitate the bandits without killing any of them. The leader of the bandits was quite a person, that was for sure. Very different from who Javier worked for before.

Boss Rodevic was quite a kind man. After his surrender, he kept quiet and didn't resist. He knew he couldn't escape so he hushed his own guild while they were being transported. Rodevic was in no way honorable nor was he merciful, but he was at least a smart man. Smart enough to know when he is defeated. This leader, however, kept on struggling against his binds as he and his team was being sent to the capital for their trial. He kept on spouting off insults like the Hunters present would even care what he said. They were sent and they would do their job. That was it.

They had dropped off the gang and after making sure that the guards had them, they left for the Hall of Remembrance. They talked among each other about the new recruits. This should be their next day after the sign-ups. A test, if they remembered correctly. The white haired male silently listened though, as they moved in their carriage. Soon enough, the Hall of Remembrance was in sight. Loading off their supplies, they headed through the other doors so that they wouldn't meet the mass of new-bloods.

Javier peered from the second floor. There were a lot of them. Some would surely not get into the guild because... well because they couldn't get everyone in there. Some caught his eye. Like that tall Etlock over there. There were other smaller people. As expected, they were taking the test. It is quite easy if you knew at least the basics. Well, to be perfectly honest, he almost failed at this one mostly because he was just a mercenary. The second question threw him way off but he was briefed about it thanks to the King.

He descended from the stairs silently and took his place beside Varioyn. He kept his head down as he did so and asked, "Is there anything for me to do Varioyn?"
@Deserted

Alright got it.
I originally didn't know what to put there. Since he's an archer and specializes on using stealth (for assassinations), I didn't think Warren could actually fit in to the Templars and Teutonic Knights. So I just rolled with EPOD.
Joshua watched as Nancy began navigating around the clinic, going to one of the cabinets that held bags of chips. She took two and then went back to him. She began speaking again, replying to his question earlier. "I've seen him around." He mused. Nurse Nancy was new so she couldn't have possibly gotten the weird vibe from Doctor Greene yet. Or perhaps she has? It took Josh a good three days to find something off about him and this place. Then again, he was simply a guard and thus didn't have anything directly involved with the patients besides their safety (or well the staff's).

He then looked at the bag of chips before gratefully taking it. Well, he has snacks now for later. That's nice. He'll drop this off at his room after this exchange. "Guards don't really get to know much about the meetings. Only the most trusted ones are allowed to go in." He explained. "So no." He finalized. Might as well get the explanation out of the way even before she asks. As far as Joshua knew, the block leaders were the ones present in the meeting and leave the rest of the guards in the dark. He didn't mind. He just does his job anyway, no matter how twisted it would be.

My backstory involved Javier being part of the Hunters long before this time. Should I go with the backstory or say that he's still a new recruit?
I'll get a post up later or tomorrow. School decided to slap me in the face with quizzes.
"He didn't look angry earlier; I think you're fine." Josh said with a shrug. He couldn't really know if the guy was happy or not. He always had this smile plastered on his face whenever he was out and about so he couldn't really see what the guy was thinking most of the time. Doctor Greene would frown at times but that's about it. No reason why. He would just look like that.

Once she asked for help, he took her hands and helped her up, keeping a steady grip on her even after she was standing just in case she would stumble. "Bad day?" He asked. Although it was obvious, seeing as she was here in the clinic, but perhaps something happened which led to her injury acting up.

Once she would steady herself, he would retract his hands from her and then place them in his pockets.
