Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Ah, yeah. I think we're waiting for two others but Paul might update before that if it takes too long.
@cloudystar

Do you mean in IC or here in the OOC?

Ah, so it was only just keeping a lookout for the previous pack member. And now they had to stick with the hunting groups to make sure nothing bad happens. That was fine; though it would limit her movements somewhat. She tends to run from point A to point B as fast as possible but given the conditions present, she was fine with sticking with the Hunters for now. Angelwing was right in being cautious though - who knows what Crescent Moon might do now. While Robyn still believes that they could've been more lenient in her punishment, moons have passed since then and who knows how much Crescent Moon had changed since then.

There was also the matter of winter right around the corner. Prey will be scarce again and they'd be forced to cut down on their meals. Her head turned to the Queen's den where the Queens and the pups were located. They needed to keep up the nutrition to ensure that the pups would survive. And to keep that up, they would need to eat the usual amount of meat. She mentally sighed, thinking how of how much they could get now to save up for the winter. She prayed to the spirits that they would get enough food to last the winter without anyone starving to death.

It reminded her awfully of what happened in her old pack. You had to fight to survive there. Not literally fight, but you would need to hunt your own share in the scarce winter. They were all locked in a harsh competition. The only good thing is that the Queens and pups were excused and were given appropriate amounts of food to survive. But they were the only exceptions.

Her attention snapped back to Angelwing as he dismissed them. She stood up from her place as the leader dropped down from the rock and then looked around. Her eyes were naturally drawn to the food pile where the small deer was. Wait... where did the deer go? She took a sniff to find out who might have taken it. There was a fresh trail of where the deer had gone to, and it was out of the clearing. She tilted her head to the side before turning to Kinow.

"Hey, Kinow." She called out, in a more hushed voice as to not startle the male. "The deer's gone and its scent leads out of the clearing." She continued.

Julio nodded in agreement to his statement. It was certainly a good fight. Tiring, painful, but a good fight. He looked at Miss Lariet as she addressed how he fought and she praised his use of dust. He smiled. Dust and sniping were the two things he trained at continuously for all these years so he was quite happy to be praised like that. "Thank you ma'am." He said before practically staggering back to his seat and collapsing on it.

What a great way to start the day.
Ryu Wakamatsu

As Ryu was awaiting a response, the bell rang which signalled for them to move. He looked at Mi and then nodded, gesturing for her to get a move on as well. He then went on ahead, following the stream of students that headed to the assembly hall. It was a fairly big hall, enough to accommodate everyone that is needed. He sat down on a chair and looked up to the headmaster.

The headmaster was a guy of foreign descent - nothing too weird there as Academy City is full of them. He looked and acted as if he was an aristocrat but Ryu did not mind that. He actually saw the headmaster as some sort of 'lord' as they would put it in the olden times. The guy had a presence to back up his appearance so there wasn't anyone who would make fun of how he dressed. And he was the most respected figure in the school, seeing as he is the headmaster.

His hands clenched as he heard that the school was attacked. Why had he not known? Was it because of the dispatch earlier this morning? Did they think that he would panic and put him under a lot of stress because he would be worrying about two things at the same time? It was a good move, Ryu honestly thought, because he wouldn't be able to concentrate on the rescue mission should he have gotten the news earlier this morning. Though he still felt a little frustrated as he did not get any information regarding this. The headmaster noted that they would work closely with Judgement and Anti-Skill to find out who this Esper was. Okay, seems he would be working overtime in a lot more days. It was fine though since it would be for the protection of everyone.

He would certainly ask more about it at the Judgement HQ later on, but for now, he was a student.

The headmaster changed the subject to the prize of being the most hardworking student. Ah, the wonders of Kichijoji. They want everyone to strive to become more powerful and more in control of their powers. Ryu had never gotten a top since there were far more people that are hardworking than him, but Ryu never minded. At least he was able to learn something.

Once they were dismissed, he bowed his head (though he knew the headmaster wouldn't notice) and then followed the students outside and towards their respective rooms.
@Lord Wraith

Ah, I'm still here if you're still wondering. Still interested just like the others.

How many times did he fall in the duration of the fight? Three? Four? He lost count. But nevertheless, the feeling of hitting the ground is something that won't be missed anytime soon. And the feeling of flames engulfing you certainly left a mark... or two. He heard Miss Lariet scream something about a double K.O. and how amazing it was. But for now, Julio didn't care much for it. The cold floor felt so... comfortable. He wanted to close his eyes then and there to sleep.

However, that wasn't something advisable. He struggled to get up, hands still wrapped around his gun. It was like it was some sort of inseparable part of him. The crystals he used were scattered all over the floor. He was now sitting up and looked up at Terra who was more or less in the same condition as him. Maybe better since Julio tanked so many hits. "I've been better. Way better." He replied with a light chuckle before attempting to stand up. He stumbled a little but he regained his balance quickly. "You?"

A last chance. Either Julio or Terra. Julio landed quite hardly on the ground so he rolled and then positioned himself right again, facing Terra who had his back turned as of now. Julio wasn't sure if they guy would turn around or not. Seeing as there was virtually no escape, he took the last two clear shots [this time with one fire bullet and one lightning] he had before attempting to make a futile escape by trying to do the same thing he did earlier - dive through one and hope he gets out.

Julio cursed under his breath as the other fireball appeared. His tail held onto the wind dust that he originally used, as it was not depleted yet, and his left hand slipped into one of his many pockets to fish out gravity dust. He activated the gravity dust first and took a deep breath as he leaped up when it was seconds before the impact. He then activated the wind dust to propel him forward. He noticed that the fireballs didn't make sharp turns - it still followed the laws somewhat. But he was certainly burning through his dust crystals.

Two fire cartridges left - one after he had reloaded. One lightning cartridge. One gravity dust crystal and two wind crystals. He had to end this as fast as possible before he ran out of dust to use. He was still propelling forward and he'd certainly land a few feet behind Terra. If he had another fireball in his arsenal, Julio would certainly collide with it. He was aware of that. So he had to shoot. Now. He shot five more fire bullets - but he wasn't sure if the last two would hit. For the first time, he was unsure solely because he was going at a pretty fast pace.

Julio couldn't help but let out a soft laughter even as he realized that his jacket had a hole at the abdomen part. For the first time in a while, he was actually enjoying fighting. Once he noticed that the other six fireballs were following him, his feet went on autopilot. It was fast, yes, but the one who was controlling them was stagnant. Julio took out his rifle once more and then started shooting lightning-dust bullets at him. After around five, he put it down again to focus on trying to avoid the aura flames.
