Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Julio watched only with mild interest. However, he watched Pazice with much more interest than Venator. Her choice of weaponry was quite interesting. He also wondered if the bullets, if he can even call it that, were made of lead or something else. When the match ended with Pazice's surrender, which was quite surprising for Julio. He hasn't seen a spar where someone actually surrendered. It was usually a fight 'till someone's aura dropped a certain level. Well, he guessed there were things he one can do in a spar that Julio was unfamiliar with. Anyhow, a good fight it was.
@AbysmalDemon

Are you, perhaps, inviting your OC to be pestered?

Him being from Unova helps too.

To be honest, she needs a guide much like me or else she'll be stumbling around blindly.
Ah, once the IC starts, I can finally make Robyn pester other player characters for pictures and maybe a travelling companion.
I'm leaving it up to our guys. I'm cool with either.

Ryoshi watched as the young werewolf's hood slipped and then him trying to desperately trying to hide both features with his hands, but it was all done in vain as he couldn't do it. The older male was watching with slight amusement, but it didn't show in his facial features as he kept a professional mask plastered on his face. He silently waited to hear the young werewolf's reply to his inquiry. He can't leave now since he had interacted with the student. He caught Eryn's movement from the corner of his eyes, seeing the head counselor look at the young werewolf just as he had approached.

Maybe he should have left it up to Eryn. He was better with kids than Ryoshi will ever be, thanks to Eryn actually having background in helping students while he had the amazing background of fighting monsters that would surely not help students at all. But it was part of the deal with Amelia. He was a teacher so he needed to be prepared for this kind of stuff. But that fact doesn't exactly help him at all.

It was then that the young werewolf started to speak and what came out certainly put Ryoshi in quite a shock, but only for a moment. So this werewolf was proud of his lineage, but not proud that he couldn't control his transformation. Ryoshi took another look at the young male. Yes, there was at tail which he was holding with his hands, two ears, fangs, vertical eyes, ah, so this is the quarter form of a werewolf. Yes, he has seen some that walk like this in his years at the school but none of them were embarrassed about it, unlike this one right here.

"So you are saying that a young werewolf such as you shouldn't even take the form of a wolf? Or a quarter wolf?" Ryoshi asked as he placed his hands behind his back. "Do know that in this school, we will help you control and restrain your powers. In here, you will not be teased, discriminated, or prejudiced against your lack of control over your powers." This was a line that he had said over and over again to other students who had little control over their powers. Though he truly did mean all of these words. They were not meaningless and his tone should broadcast that loud and clear.
Averstin Siblings

Perhaps at a certain point of his earlier life, Mike would have appreciated the positive attention he was getting from his sister. She had certainly been calling more frequently and then she even visited him every now and then to check into his health. But now, he just found it odd. He appreciates the sentiment but she was trying too hard in winning back his favor when she honestly hasn't lost it in the first place, but no matter how many times he told her that, she just wouldn't back off.

"The deadline's on Saturday for your new book's manuscript alright?" A woman's voice came through the loudspeaker of the phone that was placed on Mike's desk. The black haired male was on his chair, typing away at his laptop as he listened to his producer speak through the phone.

"Saturday, got it." Mike replied nonchalantly as he shoved his hand into a box of Pocky and began eating the stick before letting his hands fly through the keyboard once more, inputting words that would soon create a sentence that would soon be a paragraph that would soon be a chapter and then a whole book. His eyes were practically glued to the screen.

"Don't forget that you also have a book signing event for your previous book on Monday." The woman continued and Mike only let out a small grunt of reply. He would have snapped at her to say that he remembered everything she was talking about. He would never forget something as important as those dates. After all, if he missed one of those, then that might be more than a small bump in his career as a writer. And perhaps it might lead to his eventual retirement and he wouldn't make as much money and then he'd be kicked out and he'll die of hunger and thirst on the streets with nowhere to call home and no one to call family.

His usual pessimistic thinking was snapped when there was a knock on his door. Mike already knew who it was though. It was too easy to guess. "Gotta go Lim. I'll see you some other time." There was a small hum of farewell before Mike hung up the phone. He sighed and then spun his swivel chair to face the door. "Come in Louis." He called out.

The door opened to reveal Louis. Her hair was let loose, unlike how it is usually seen when she was at work when it was tied in a ponytail. "Morning Mike."

Mike frowned. "Morning." He looked at the digital wall clock that clearly showed the numbers 7:21 a.m. He groaned and then leaned back on his chair.

"Did you pull an unwilling all-nighter again?" Mike looked back at her blankly and then gave her a small nod. She shook her head and then added a chuckle after. "I would suppose that is the life of an imaginative person such as yourself." The words that spilled out of her mouth shocked both Mike and probably the audience. The last time it was showed, she didn't exactly give Mike any compliments since they were kids. So why now?

However, Mike surely would have recovered faster than the audience. "Yeah, sure." He replied before giving her a dismissive wave, obviously not very amused at her attempt to flatter him. But his expression also showed that he wasn't exactly angered by it either. He then waited for her to speak once more.

"Just came here to check in as always. And to remind you of the reunion thing in Edenridge High." Louis continued as she leaned on the doorframe. She never did liked going into his room. It made her think that she's stepping over her boundaries. While they were siblings, their previous relationship was quite... wasn't quite right.

"Ah... right." Mike said with a nod. It was about that anniversary for the shooting. His hand instinctively went to his chest, centimeters to the right of his heart. It was also the place where he was shot at that day. It wasn't a very good memory and it stayed in his mind - the most vivid memory he had. His hand was desperately trying to keep the blood that was spilling out of the bullet hole, covering it up in hopes that it would stop the bleeding. It was futile. His breath became ragged and his vision had started to blur. The last thing he actually saw was the killer before he blacked out. Everyone said that it was a miracle that he was alive. He was a hair's breadth away from passing onto the afterlife.

Louis frowned as she saw her brother stare at her, no, past her. "Mike... if you don't want to go, it's fine you know." She said. While she would be attending herself, she can't make her brother go through those memories again for some get together. He was haunted by that memory and this was making it surface once more.

However, Mike shook his head. "I'll go."

Westerian Siblings

"Cut!" The director's voice rang through the air and then Ashley and Vincent looked at each other and the former gave the latter a wide grin. Vincent stood up from his seat and then, with Ashley, headed over to the director. The scene they were set in was different from the others who were at the school so they were in a pretty secluded area, up in an apartment that was under the ownership of a small-time dealer who was a big fan of Edenridge. "Vincent, I'm surprised you still have some skills under your belt since you dropped acting entirely."

"I aim to impress. It's also pretty hard to forget those lessons drilled into my teenage brain from the first shooting." Vincent and the director laughed about it.

"And as for you Ashley, good job as always."

Ashley gave him a bright smile. "If you need us, we'll be roaming around." She told the director before she and Vincent continued on to another part of the area. Ashley hummed as the twins walked down the street. They often pointed and talked about the previous locations of their scenes. It was such a nostalgic experience. This was the highlight of their teenage years. They had been actors that starred in such a big thing. It was quite amazing, to step on foot in this place again.

The feeling was doubled for Vincent who had left the film industry completely in favor of learning medicine. He hadn't acted in a while and he hadn't exactly been thinking about it too. He was glad Ashley decided to drag him along in this revival. It sparked that sense of happiness within him. He spotted familiar faces, and while he didn't talk to them much after the shooting of the show, he did enjoy spending time with them. Ah those were the days.
@FantasyChic @Roman @Blue Demon

Speaking of which, I'll wait for y'all to post first. Probably. Unless you guys want a collab.
I will also have a post up later once my mother is done dragging me to places.

On an unrelated note, I just realized that Louis doesn't probably get along with... almost everyone in the Edenridge characters. Goodness, poor girl.

Wait, it was the first day so... "Stupid." He muttered to himself before opening one of the windows of the hallway campus and then dropping down, quickly changing into a silver crow before heading towards the dorms where the mass of students were heading towards. He then landed on the ground quite some ways away from the students and then transformed back into a human. Though he could have done that in plain sight of the students, he didn't actually want to see them flock towards him to ask how he did that and so on and so forth. While there aren't much students like that, he has encountered them and that was an experience he'd rather not go through again.

Muttering an 'excuse me' every now and then as he passed through the swarm of students getting their room assignments for the day, he finally broke through after he passed the line heading towards the poor teacher who had to man that part. He and the teacher locked eyes for a moment and he gave him a small smile as some form of encouragement and he only sighed as he passed the next room assignment to the next student. He gave him a gesture of farewell in the form of a two finger salute and then continued roaming around to keep the students from breaking into fights or something.

Be glad, Emily Jolt, that he was not there to see what you had done.

Ryoshi entertained some of the students' questions about the school and the safety of the dorms - assuring them that it was perfectly safe and that there would be guards posted there, roaming every night in case someone was actually foolish enough to try and sneak into school grounds. He sent them off with a small smile as they headed towards the line. He placed his hands inside his jacket's pockets as he continued to roam around. So this was what he was doing for past few decades? Well, he really couldn't say it wasn't a good change of pace. At least here, he didn't have to fight huge beasts or monstrosities to protect others. No, he had the honors of running the students ragged through Physical Education and teaching them how to properly utilize their powers in combat - but they had to learn quick if they wanted to keep up on the charts.

His eyes scanned the mass of students until he saw a particularly heavily clothed young man. He seemed nervous as he navigated through the crowds. Ryoshi tilted his head to the side in curiosity as to why he was clothed like that. Unless, of course, there was a hazard in him exposing his skin and he was doing this for the safety of the other students. That thought was quickly ruled out when he saw a wolf tail drop out from his long coat. Ryoshi quickly made his way towards the young werewolf.

"If you're making such an effort to hide your wolf-like features, then I must tell you that your tail has slipped out." Ryoshi started as he started to pace himself with the young man. "However, there is no shame in showing who you truly are. We have many hybrids in this place - centaurs, griffins, pfft, unicorns." It's not the first time Ryoshi encountered a student who isn't too proud of their lineage, but it was a first for him to see someone going to such lengths to hide it.
