History: Rick was part of a nomad family. They traveled from town to town without much thought of their next destination. It was rather fun and it actually helped train them for the real world - it also made him especially good at climbing, jumping and swinging. Essentially using the environment to his advantage. They would often make a few days to a week stops at towns to refill their inventory and to learn more about what was happening currently. They were also known to help around when they can. He also had a younger brother who he looked after.

When the Stargate opened, their family was affected and, of course, everyone else around them. They knew they had to help. Leaving the two brothers in a town that was relatively protected, their parents set off to help however they can. They never returned. Thankfully, the town withstood total devastation and the two brothers managed to survive. Once everything settled down, they knew they could continue travelling. They did so, for a while, with just the two of them. He taught his brother everything he learned from their parents. It became increasingly obvious that he couldn't take care of his brother properly by himself so he left him at a town with and Exploration guild and left, with the brother's consent of course.

Being alone had been rather odd. He had been used to travelling with other Pokemon so this was a different experience. The freedom he felt was amazing. He could do whatever he wanted without much repercussions. He had been known to delve into dungeons to help other Pokemon, despite him not even being a member of a guild. However, he soon ended up with the Medburn Exploration Guild. Rick had come across a team while on a mission inside a dungeon. He was taken back along with the one they had to rescue and was introduced to the guild master. He had become a full fledged explorer pretty quick because of his experience.

Personality: Playful and energetic, Rick is the kind of Pokemon who can bring your spirits up. He is rather sensitive to emotions of those around him and he does his best to make them laugh - even at his own expense. He's been known to make a fool of himself if that's what is needed to make someone feel better. Others do say that he is not the best role model out there and he doesn't really blame anyone who claims that. It has also been said that he is childish; this assumption was caused by his "inability" to take things seriously and he always wants to have fun, no matter the situation. He often sounds overconfident in battles but that's just him with his, what he thinks is, funny antics.

Notes: Rick has a lot of experience in traversing uneven terrain, and he relies a lot on speed rather than taking someone on head-first. He seems to have a knack for juggling which he uses to have fun with the children.

Leo gave the phone back to Ben once the conversation ended before looking back to see that the van had stopped. "A hitch hiker huh? Well, well, this got interesting." Leo said with a chuckle before the Impala began to move again. He looked around the area, feeling a little vulnerable. This was the shady part of New York City and he wasn't much of a fan of criminals. He got in trouble with them once, because of his father, and he'd rather not go back to that. His hand rubbed his neck for a moment before settling back on his lap.

They got out of the neighborhood and then Ben just so happened to get on the wrong side of the lane. "Damn Ben be careful." He said, grabbing onto the door and then lowering himself like Ben so they wouldn't be seen. Last thing he wanted was getting trouble with the locals. Once they were parked, he took off his seatbelt and exited the car. He looked back at Cyrus, "Ah don't worry man. We're gonna live here in this apartment for a while." He said, gesturing to the apartment complex close to them.

As the van pulled up, he took another picture of the people inside going out. "We are forever grateful to your friends for giving us this wonderful place to stay~" He said in a mockingly regal way before flourishing a bow.

Y'know, admittedly, after some time of thinking about it.

Once Leo knows of her backstory, he would probably force his parents to take her in for two years so that she wouldn't be forced into an orphanage again and just let her do what she wants after that time span.

Like, he won't take 'no' for an answer. I think. Probably.

"Turned out fine!" Leo said with a grin on his face. As they went in deeper to New York City, traffic became commonplace. He propped his elbow on the side of the car as he waited for them to move again. "Well, let's look around for somewhere to eat yeah?" He told the other boy before the cops whizzed past them. Oh man, that probably wasn't good. Then again, the denser the city, the higher the crime rate. Hopefully, they won't somehow get involved with the police. His father would kill him.

He then took Ben's phone before dialing Zac. Once he picked up, Leo would start speaking. "Yo, Zac, do you or the girls know of a place to crash and eat? We can keep driving and looking but it'd be best for us to actually have a destination."
