Yuki wasn't sure whether to be exasperated of their behavior or be impressed that they haven't come to the point of physical blows yet. She really still didn't know what to feel as they continued to exchange words with each other. Goodness, kids these days knew how to get into trouble quickly. Weren't these two in the same year? Who knows what kind of tension would fill the room thanks to them.

"I haven't heard of a Braman." Yuki muttered, wondering what the hell that was and why it was used in a sort of threat to Melissa. She was forced to move with her roommate as she continued. She felt kind of bad that the two fell out. Maybe she should see what will happen in Power Development with Lucy, since she's more likely to be alone than Melissa. Even with her over the top personality, Melissa was still famous.

"Don't worry, I just get carried away with fighting. Your guitar's fine." She reassured the girl before quickly shaking her head. "I don't exactly want to be in someone's debt right now. I'll find a way to pay it if you're curious though... well, my tab's probably around twice your father's wage." Yuki said with a laugh but it didn't really tell whether or not she was absolutely serious about that.

Yuki placed her hands behind her head as she walked with the two, slightly walking ahead. "Heh, I don't know too much about that." She commented, pertaining to the headmistress being more lenient than the one before. She definitely didn't know if Prof. Susan had changed once she took up the mantle. She was pretty nice before but Yuki guessed that she would have to make more than just an example now that she's headmistress. Hopefully a few dorm parties won't bother her.

Though that big, gaping wall certainly is a glaring mistake on their part. She wondered how they would be punished for that.

She stopped and blinked once Melissa, once more, answered for her and Lucia just blew up. Uh... what just happened? She blinked a few more times, as if making sure that she wasn't just imagining things. "Technically, that wasn't really mean so it's pretty fine with me Melissa." She first said, but not coming in between them. Not yet anyways. Yuki wasn't nearly as hurt with Lucy's wording than other insults. In fact, she had already come into terms with her androgynous appearance and utilizes it to its full capacity, so she wasn't really hurt by it.

She placed a hand on both of their shoulders. "And, we don't want to get into more trouble. Not with that hole in the wall to our dorms."

Yuki released them once again and then continued, "As for why I included myself, well, you could say that I have the greatest debt out of all of us. I probably broke the record for most equipment broken. I get carried away easily and sometimes, the school's equipment can't handle it and break." She said with a light chuckle, as if to lighten the mood. "I bet they already made a room for me to train in where I can't break anything."

The blonde then gestured for them to move on. Hopefully they do, because she did not want to get in a fight on the first day of school - especially on her first day as a senior. "I already signed a contract to pay my debt once I get a job. Heh, I imagine I won't be eating properly for quite a while."

Appearance: He stands at a height of 5'10". He seems to have a muscular athletic type of body thanks to training. No one knows what's beneath the mask, since it has been fused to his face and he has no way of removing it - even if he wished to - unless someone would pry it off and take off his skin while they're at it. A voice emulator has been embedded into his throat. Underneath his clothing is a disturbing sight - flesh wrinkled and bruised, looks like it's decaying but it's really not.

Personality: Jonathan is one that you would call determined; evidenced when even if it has been years since he had seen the last clue for his find, he still never gave up. He has admirable conviction and would see everything through to the end. Though, this isn't to say that he doesn't get sidetracked. In fact, the main reason why he hasn't completed his mission is because he keeps on stopping to help other people. He is sympathetic towards people in need of help - especially when they're trying to find a missing person. He's always willing to help.

That isn't to say that he is not one without faults. A kind-hearted person isn't the type to survive in the post-apocalyptic world. Fortunately for Jonathan, he has survived thus far; thriving thanks to his mutations and whatnot. He has grown cautious, yes, but he still gives second chances to people he thinks deserve them. Another trait that isn't very common and also very dangerous to have in the currently world. He does have standards when it comes to giving out these second chances - and also, once you waste your second chance, you shouldn't expect Jonathan to ever treat you the same ever again.

However, one should note that Jonathan is extremely aware of the state and condition of the world. It's just that he wants to see the good in the world. He is actually pretty ruthless when it comes to those he finds as dangerous and often quite merciless. Jonathan is a realist and actually thinks of the chances of saving someone - if it is anywhere below five percent, he would probably not go. This kind-hearted nature stems from his own desire to not see anyone be separated from their families ever again.

Strengths:

• He has military training from the time before the week of Hell. Knows parkour.
• Strives in radiated places. With the normal dose found nowadays, he seems to be stronger than average. Due to radiation, he doesn't need to eat or drink anything.
• Has what pretty much means a strong will; if anything, he just wouldn't talk.

Weaknesses:

• He isn't able to emote properly because he is mute and his voice emulator can only speak robotically and no one can see his face. Often leads to misunderstandings.
• He ceases to function without radiation. He has a dependence on it, especially since there is no other conceivable way for him to intake energy.
• He seems to always want to see the good in people; often giving them a second chance. This can lead to some unsavory circumstances. This does not apply to robots or bandits.

Weapon:

• Metal Pipe: It is a very durable metal pipe that doesn't seem to break no matter what it hits. It isn't very special aside from the beautiful red, black and white markings around it. Jonathan doesn't know why it is like that since he found it as that. Like him, it seems to strengthen the more concentrated the radiation is, so he found it very apt to keep it.

Powers:

• Radioactive Healing: A rather self explanatory power. His cells have mutated to the point of finding radioactivity as its main source of energy. Hence, they replicate quickly in the presence of radiation which helps with healing himself. The more concentrated the radiation, the faster he can heal. This also expels his need for food and, to some extent, water. He does prefer still eating and drinking. However, because of this, he becomes human once more, even a little weaker than average, if he is in a sterile environment that doesn't allow him to get any radiation. Prolonged absence of radiation has the possibility of weakening him to the point where he can't function. Food can give him energy but it is less effective than normal.
• Enhanced Strength: In the presence of radiation, he is able to let loose and strain his muscles so that he may be able to achieve above Olympic strength. This doesn't mean he can just punch someone unconscious just like that, unless it is a well placed strike, but it would at least hurt a lot more.

Techniques:

• Plumber Swing: Using the pipe on hand, he uses all of his enhanced strength to swing it. The resulting force would be enough to knock someone back a few feet.
• Sucker Punch: An underhanded method but not as bad as the original. He only means to attack a blindside when the opportunity presents itself.

Skills:

• Animals seem to like him and he can tame them rather easily. Despite this, he cannot tame an already aggressive animal as easily.
• Despite not having the ability to taste anymore, he is a really damn fine cook.

Gear:

• Journal: He seems to keep this in his person at all times. It mostly has pictures of missing people and small self-made maps along with a few scribbles. It all seems for work.
• Voice Recorder: No one knows why he has it. But he does.

The Story Behind the Man

Backstory:Jonathan was born before the Week of Hell - way before it. He led quite a happy life. It was a life of normalcy. He and his siblings studied hard and his parents worked even harder. Being the eldest, he took it upon himself to look out for his little sister and little brother in their studies and even doing some cooking every now and then. They were a happy little family whose children dreamed big - bigger than their parents, bigger than themselves, bigger than the world itself to them.

Jonathan wished to become a soldier - brave and strong. He wanted to become the protector of the people. He wanted to help them retain their freedom, blindly following the orders of those above him with the mindset that he is always helping his fellow citizens. He wanted his family to live in a peaceful world where they wouldn't have to worry about anything ever again. He passed. He succeeded. He was in the army. He found a girlfriend who became his wife as he became twenty three - a memorable year indeed.

James, the little brother, wished to become a scientist - smart and creative. He wanted to make the world easier for his family by creating machines to do work for them. He wanted to become the reason for his parents to be able to live an easy life - one without worries. He wanted his family to live like they were kings, a house filled with servants to their bidding. He passed. He succeeded. He created robots for his family - Roberto was the first.

Jamie, the little sister, wished to become a doctor - caring and kind. She wanted to always look after her family. From diseases to just degenerating health, she wanted to know all about them. She wanted to always be there for her family and always know what to do if something goes wrong. She wanted for them to live easily while she prepared precautions for their family so no one would perish before they were due. She passed. She succeeded. She became one of the leading doctors in the country.

Their life was immediately ruined as the Week of Hell began - the day of his twenty-fifth birthday. James and Jamie both worked for the government at that time, resulting in their immediate death - one by robotic arms and the other by zombie bites. Jonathan, however, survived. He went looking for his parents, and found that they had died peacefully in their sleep with a letter at a stand. It stated that they left something with Roberto for him to see for his birthday. Driven by the will to see what his family, the family he held so dear, had for him - he set off to find their old robot butler. He knew it would not be easy, not when the revolution started. With robots and zombies popping out left and right attacking him, it was certainly a challenge. But he persevered, going forth to find any sign of Roberto.

Jonathan's travels were all done with his wife, until five years after the initial outbreak. As they were travelling, they were taken by a band of bandits. As they left Jonathan to rot in a highly radiated place, they took his wife and did unspeakable things - ending with her death. Jonathan succumbed to the radiation and expected to die soon, to be with his family once more. However, he opened his eyes the next day, feeling a lot different. He managed to escape, though injured, he healed and left - leaving the bandits in shreds. With his newfound mutation, he continued on with only the promise of memories of his family to keep him going. A passing surgeon seemed to take pity in him and installed a voice box - it has since malfunctioned so he isn't able to get out of the robotic, emotionless voice he has now.

Ten years have passed since the last clue emerged and he couldn't find anything. He would often go around helping people which earned him his legend - his title. He settled in Pallet Town for a short while. He has been to this place numerous times and always only gave the bare minimum. He wasn't planning on staying for a long time after all. When he heard the radio talking about "The End", a mysterious city that has rumors surrounding it; he decided that it was high time he visited. It was better to have a destination than just lazing around correct? Even if it turned out to be fake, the life of luxury wasn't something he was looking for.

Ambitions/Goals: He wants to find his old robot butler, scrapped or alive. Roberto had a memoir of his family - something that was placed there as a surprise for him. Unfortunately, the Week of Hell began before he could retrieve it and Roberto got away. He made it his life's mission to find him. Unfortunately, Roberto's trail went cold around ten years ago so he's having little bit more trouble. "The End" sounds like a place where he can find some clues.

His second mission in life is to be able to find someone to help him get off the mask. With the knowledge that taking it off forcibly would only result to his face maimed even beyond what has happened and probably death, depending on how hard it was pulled, then he needs to find someone who is skilled enough to do so. The only reason why he wants it off is so that he can finally eat again, as he misses the taste or at least the feeling of having food in your mouth.

Along the way, he just helps other people.

Addiction/Mental Health: He doesn't seem to have anything in this section. Perhaps him signing to himself frequently can be counted as an extreme form of loneliness or insanity. I'm random too.

Yuki watched as Melissa strung up the poster after the person entered. She then said that her name was Lucia, or Lucy for short. Ah, now she could finally put a name to the face of - that person who has little control over her powers. Yuki nodded in reply, silently thanking her for the name. She then finally opened the door. She saw some other students peer out of their rooms, surely because of the earlier ruckus and the sound of something breaking. Assuring them that everything was fine, they disappeared into their rooms again.

"I'm pretty sure the Headmistress can find a way to fix it up in a jiffy." She then couldn't help but chuckle. "You could say this is her first hurdle. After all, you can't survive as headmistress if you can't handle some unruly bunch of kids." In this room was probably the main cause of headaches of the teachers. Yuki had been quite a reckless person when it comes to patrols and there have been times where she wrecked equipment because she got too carried away. She probably had the most money on her head right now. The blonde seemed to still take it easy though. Melissa, as stated by herself, got into her fair share of trouble as well. Ah yes, the dorm parties were quite a riot. As for Lucia, well, the girl had only an inkling of control over her power. You could just imagine how hard it is to reign her.

But, someone had to act responsible and that fell onto her. The headmistress trusted her so, technically, she at least had to do her job as a senior properly. When she was about to correct her name, Melissa did it for her, adding little facts that wasn't really necessary. But the grin on her face was unmistakable, it was a great addition to herself. "Hey Melissa, tell me in advance if you're going to have a dorm party. Sometimes, I really need to sleep y'know." With some alert from others, she could at least sleep through it. Though ninety percent of the time, she would probably join.

Yuki exited the room and dug her hands inside her pockets. "Let's go then. We still have some more minutes but better early than late!" She then advanced to the orientation room.

Highschool DxD: The Devils' Due [ENDED]

Daithi tapped his pen on the side of the table as he looked over the ledger. This was yesterday's profit and then the status of the current inventory. For some odd reason, there should still be some leftover shortcakes from yesterday but there wasn't. He was pretty sure that none of his co-workers had taken any. Had someone already disposed of them by accident? He had planned on at least giving them those shortcakes as some sort of reward, with permission from Delilah of course. It was unfortunate that it had magically disappeared, but there was little he could do now. Perhaps he should bake some. Fat chance.

With a sigh, he stood up from his seat and closed the ledger. He placed the pen clipped to the pocket of his uniform and took the notepad where he took orders and slid it into his pocket. He bounded outside before seeing that everyone was already being served. There was no particular need for him to be there so he remained beside the cash register and the ledger was then placed beside it. Hopefully, this would be another slow and normal day. While he didn't hate having some action every now and then, he had enough of that thanks to being part of a Devil's Peerage.

He honestly thought he would never be part of one. Especially with his loyalty to Heaven from a time long past, there was no way that would happen. But it did, thanks to some unfortunate circumstances, and he has come to appreciate being in one. The Devils weren't like the ones before, when God of the Bible was still alive. There were kinder, and less bloodthirsty. In fact, they handle their own strays now. Daithi guessed it was because they also partially needed to keep Earth safe. Humans were fragile creatures after all, but they still needed them.

That was when a priest had entered. His eyes narrowed at the priest but let out a sigh. There was no need to act hostile. They were a cafe, there was bound to be an odd guest every now and then. Suzue had also taken point and then entertained the priest. Daithi continued to stay at his post, eyes wandering between the priest and then the other customers, but with little caution.

Yuki wasn't sure if it was the right move to be so close to this amplifier. Her roommate was infamous for being loud. However, before she could think of anything else, Melissa had started and boy was it louder than what she expected. It seemed her powers wer resonating with what she was doing which resulted to it being louder than what the amplifier would have given out.

But Yuki was beyond impressed. Her eyes were transfixed to the girl as he skin glowed. It was amazing how others could pull out a power from something someone doesn't expect to. Her own powers were something that was already destructive - something naturally so. Music, however, wasn't like that. Yet, here it was, a power from the thing that binds people together. As Melissa reached the end, interrupted by multiple people slamming their doors, Yuki clapped - not too loudly but enough for the both of them to here.

"That was really good. Like damn." THe blonde said with a nod as she placed the old amplifier on the ground. "Sure, I'll let you know if I need anything." She assured the female. While she certainly didn't like going to ask for help from other poeple, sometimes that was needed. Hey, they could end up in the same group together too. She stood up as well and stretched, "Orientation actually. Heard they-"

She was wonderfully cut off by a sudden explosion which made her whip her body around, tense for a battle with both arms flaring up with electrictiy. Their wall now had a huge gaping hole on it. Beyond it, she could see the person who shouted at Melissa earlier. She seemed just as surprised as them. The electricity disappeared and she relaxed. "Oh man, that is not good. Not good at all." She mutterd out loud, internally panicking. First day and something bad already happened. Then, the announcement for orientation resounded all around them.

"Y'know what? I don't think Headmistress needs any additional headaches right now. I'll go tell her later." She then seemed to study Lucia's face. A moment later, she nodded to herself, now knowing who this was. WHile she always kept to herself and very distant from others, the fact that she had little control over her powers were well-known. After all, they seemed to get caught up every now and then in her attacks during power development because of this. She then shrugged and continued, "Let's just try and not do it again. Or else, we'll be dead."

She then headed for the door. "I'm heading for the Orientation room. You guys coming?"
