Personality:Despite his position, Stormflash comes across as a rather easygoing person. When he's issuing orders, there's rarely a hint of urgency - but he does know when to put his paw down when others wouldn't listen. He may be a little more lenient than most, but he becomes quite stern when someone crosses the line between what is allowed and what is not. Stormflash likes to have fun with others and would often be seen talking with another cat unless he has something more important to do - like tending to the clan itself. He's rather fun loving and loves to tease others. He keeps his ears open for anything he might use as dirt on the other cats - but this is usually made in good fun.
When bored or just in the wrong mood, Stormflash becomes sarcastic and makes snide comments every now and then. Most come to understand not to take him too seriously, or get their feelings hurt by what he utters. Or just to avoid him entirely when he's in this mood. Only a few cats can stand a full interaction with him alone when he's in this mood, and he doesn't seem to mind. What is good about Stormflash is that he doesn't really care about what other cats think of him. He's going to do his job but do it his own way - and it's either they accept it or not, simple. However, he does care a lot about his clan, and fully accepts how they take in other cats as well.
Brief History:Stormflash doesn't have a Tragic Story
TM since his life had been relatively normal. Darkshade gave birth to Stormkit and Mintkit, and the two were inseparable for the first few moons, and still very much close after that. They did almost everything together and were both happy when they were picked out as apprentices. Stormpaw's talents shone here. He had been quite a natural in everything he did - from stalking to balancing to hunting. He was just
fast. Mintpaw showed her own skills when it came to tracking and hiding. However, something was different about Stormflash - he was fast and agile, more than other cats, but he was also physically weaker - having been beaten by his sister and other apprentices time and time again. He learned that he needed to keep his distance and strike when there's an opening.
Stormpaw and Mintpaw both got their warrior titles at the same time. They were happy for each other, and went on with their Warrior duties. The reason he became a deputy was because of how well he had been playing his cards. Making sure to show his skills whenever in front of the leader or the previous deputy, and also making sure to help the other cats as well so they could support him in becoming a deputy. He was never sure exactly why he wanted to become one, he just did, so he made it his goal to become one. Mintflower supported him every step of the way.
His trial came when he, his father and the previous deputy had been attacked by two rogue cats. Stormflash had been able to do rather well and fend off the cats. Though they were better than expected. Briardawn tragically died from his wounds shortly after returning to the camp, but Stormflash fought with ferocity and the will to protect those around him. This had caught the attention of the deputy. Once the deputy ascended to the leader position, he as picked out. Stormflash had exceeded expectations when it came to his leadership. While most were hesitant because of his easygoing but slightly ambitious nature, they were quickly dashed when he did everything for the good of the clan.
