Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Interacting with: Lou, Julius, Seoyeon

The response was certainly something amusing. She momentarily thought how it would have been perfect if he had dropped the cup that he was holding earlier. It was such a cliche moment in many an animation that the scene has been ingrained in her memories. Still, it meant that the question had taken him by surprise and Lilly wasn't sure if she should taken that as a hint for suspicion or to chalk it up to how Lou usually is. Then again, any interaction with Lou is something that was always laced with some uncertaint.

But, he gave a pretty legitimate response... even if he did use 'tummy mc tum tums'. She shrugged. "Oh okay. Well, be careful... I guess?" She replied unsurely. A lot of the cooks that she knew typically tasted their meals before to make sure that it turned out well and it was generally harmless. At least she can go on knowing that Lou was happy with what he had made as well. He was a culinary major so if he liked it, then surely the wings were actually really good.

Lilly had flinched when Julius snapped, shrinking a bit from where she stood. She rarely had any chance to really interact with Julius so she had no idea how to handle him. Well she couldn't really handle anyone at the current venue since it had only been a week with them - but Julius always seemed like someone who didn't really match with her. Still, she didn't want to get on his bad side. That would be lead to a very bad future relationship with one of her charges.

Lou had filled the silence and Lilly had avoided looking at them for a moment, taking a sip from her cup to push back the onset of the panic that would surely come at a later date as she looked back at this interaction. It would seem that Lou had managed to calm him down though. Julius had apologized, albeit seemingly forced, but she guessed that was fine. It was fine. She gave him a nod in return.

But wait... 'un-snogged'? The chicken? That only meant that- then the earlier slip up was- it had to be that right? She looked back at Lou and then towards the chicken wings where Seoyeon had been - devouring the wings. She opened her mouth and closed it again, unsure of what exactly to say. She repeated it once, then twice, then seemed to settle on keeping her mouth shut for another moment to truly process it. "You know what? I... I'm not even gonna ask Lou. I trust you enough Lou." Was it a good idea? Probably not. Did she care? Lilly is finding it hard to do so. At least the chicken wings weren't laced with cyanide or something. She took another sip from her cup as she surveyed the area.

Buford had come back with a wagon with a full load. She was pretty sure she had seen a sex doll in there and she felt her stomach churn at the mere thought of what they could do with it. There was a bunch of other things in there but Lilly was not very keen in delving into whatever shit Buford had brought to them.

"Hey, looks like Seoyeon is liking your chicken wings." Lilly said as she patted Lou's shoulder before making her way to the Korean girl with Lou hopefully in stow. "Hey, Seoyeon-" She winced at the attempt on saying her name. "Er, sorry if I butchered that." Lilly, nevertheless, relaxed against the wall near them. "Enjoying the party so far?"
@Chai

I'm open to my character's basic profile being released. It does make sense for my character personally to at least have that out there.
Aye, interest placed and CS sent.

Well then, time to lay down and wait anxiously.
Slams hand on desk

I like it. I'll work on a character as soon as I'm able. And damn, that was some good coding for a platform that doesn't really offer that much in terms of aesthetic and BBCodes so I really appreciate that.

Lilly had practically jumped out of her skin when a voice boomed over the music - calling out her name. Her shoulders tensed up. For a split second, her mind had entertained the thought that something went incredibly wrong and that they'd already have to hide a body or two. However, when she turned around, she was met with a friendly face that seemed to just want to talk. Her shoulders sagged in relief and she relaxed once more and the beating of her heart had once more fallen into the rhythm of the music.

The person who had called her attention was Lou. As far as she was concerned, he seemed like a nice guy. A bit of a dork, yes, but he at least doesn't look like the type to argue with so he thought he was overall rather kind. Lilly did remember that he had sent her a friend request earlier in the week but she hadn't gotten around to accepting it yet considering they haven't really talked aside from the basic introductions but she was meant to get around accepting it.

"You're welcome. But everyone pitched in for this to happen. Thanks for making the food too, it's quite a lot." Lilly's eyes couldn't help but drift to where it was prepared. Indeed, it looked like it could fill each and every one of them to the brim. She would get to eating them eventually, after she made sure that everyone was having fun or was at least safe. As far as she knew, everyone had agreed to come.

When he peeked at her drink and asked what it was, she glanced at it too. She hadn't gotten around drinking it yet nor did she pay attention to which one she picked up. "Vodka... I think..." She muttered but it could barely be heard thanks to the music after she took an experimental sip. He had continued on to ramble about it being good with the food he had made. He had suddenly cut himself off with a cough and a drink. It seemed like suspicious behavior so she pressed. "Waited it to cool before what?" She questioned. Lilly wanted it to be as safe as possible... even with weed and alcohol being involved in this party.

More and more people were starting to come out. She spotted her floormates sstarting to come out. Weed brownies were being busted out too. It was good to see that they were talking among each other and having fun... well, most of them anyway. Some just came in after all and seemed to be deciding what to do. Honestly, she knew how it felt. Coming into a party with only knowing a couple of people as acquaintances made the first few minutes of anything be a little awkward. Lilly had made a mental note to seek them out later if they were still hanging around alone. First off, she had Lou to take care of and-

Another call to her name and her mind once more spiralled into another minor panic attack. Since the party was underway and she was pretty sure she saw someone spill their entire cup onto the carpet, there might actually be something wrong this time. She turned to see Julius stomping his way over. "Oh Mister Gardener, I thought you weren't going to come?" She had started as he stopped in front of her to begin to complain about the party. Oh. Oh.

"I'm sorry, but I'm afraid this-" She raised her free hand to wave to the party as well. "-can't be stopped. The most I can personally do is to keep them away from Dorm One so they won't disturb you. Hah... I don't think I can do something about the music though..." Her eyes trailed over to Seoyeon who had called out earlier to increase the volume. As much as she wanted to help Julius out, she really doesn't have any solution to his problem. As soon as the party was underway, Lilly had practically forfeited most of her floor manager abilities.

Suggesting alternatives was the best thing she could do right now, so she did exactly that. "I know the library is open until midnight though, or the nearby Starbucks has a perfectly calm atmosphere. I'm pretty sure this party will die down before midnight though." Her hand gravitated towards her chin as she delved into deep thought for a moment befor snapping her fingers. "There's also the study hub which has the best coffee." Lilly had been around a couple of times and while she only treated herself every now and then, she at least knew the hostpots for the students and teh adults. Perks of knowing a lot of people is that they like talking about the places they hung out at.

Hiroyuki Duma

Hiroyuki had followed the group and Takuma as the latter led them to his house. He looked around with only mild interest, keeping his ears open to the conversation. So these were Earth Kingdom citizens. No wonder they didn't care much for their sudden appearance nor the fact that they looked like they had just broken out of the nearby prison - which they did. At least he knew that they wouldn't have to worry about someone spilling the news that they were here unless they were threatened. They could deal with that when the time comes.

His head snapped back when Jia Li had mentioned something about Pai Sho and Takuma had replied affirmatively. Hiroyuki had heard those questions before among the revolutionaries - mostly those who were older. Hiroyuki never quite understood what it was for since it was never taught to the other revolutionaries - him included. But hearing it here confirmed some suspicion that it was likely a hidden message between people. No matter what it was, it seemed like there might be a reason why Takuma was so welcoming.

Hiroyuki entered the house and looked around. "Your help is appreciated very much, Takuma." He had offered the gratitude as he gave them bandages. Right, he still had to tend to the burn that he had acquired. He didn't have to use any sort of healing waterbending on it at least. He just had to cool it off with some water and it should be fine. "Odd yes, but he seems genuine in his want to help us."

He had taken his place on the wall near the door. "I have to get back to the revolutionaries, or at least back to my Tribe." Hiroyuki replied to her inquiry. He supposed that it would be alright to share what he had planned after his escape from the prison. He had a family to come back to, but he just couldn't help but feel like he still needs to do something for the revolution. "If any one of you wants to join, you are welcome to." The more people, the better. Besides, they managed to break out of a prison from the inside. That should be enough to convince anyone they can be an asset - even if some were firebenders.

Dorm Floor
Saturday, 6:00 pm

Preparing for the dorm party was certainly quite a ride - and this was only the end of the first week. This made her a bit unsure of what to expect from her floor after this. Certainly, it'll be wild. If it wasn't for the extra pay she would get from being the floor manager, she would have maybe regretted ever being one. It was just as much work as she expected it to be - and it fell upon her and a few others to convince the faculty to not crack down on them.

There were a lot of promises she had to give. A lot of "Don't worry sir, I'll make sure no one gets hurt." and "We'll take full responsibility if something gets broken." Lilly wanted to make sure that none of that happens though. She'd rather not have to find a way to hide something long enough for them to be able to replace them - especially if the something they broke was actually someone. She doubted they could find a student in under five hours, that's for sure.

But everything paid off. It was drawing close to night and she had emerged from her room after squeezing in an hour of peace to get something done. She did not, having been distracted by the thoughts of the party, but she did get some frames done so that was already a blessing. She wasn't going to complain. She could leave that for later. Perhaps after the party if she wasn't too thrashed to work. She promised not to get drunk or high so she could provide aid quickly, but she doubted she would get away from drinking even a bit. It was the curse and the allure of partying - well, at least she'd stay away from the weed. She remained cautious but didn't know who brought it in so she guessed she'd just need to keep an eye out.

Music blaring in her ears and a smile adorning her face, she grabbed a plastic cup filled with whatever booze they took inside and began to walk around. It would be for the best if she kept an eye out for all of the dorms and their inhabitants.

"I just hope no one gets drunk early." A whispered hope only heard by the wind around her - disturbed by the loud sounds permeating throughout the hall. And yet, an excited smile adorned her face.

Hiroyuki Duma

Hiroyuki grunted out an agreement. They needed to get out of the clothing quickly - it was the first thing that made them stick out like a sore thumb. Even without the injuries, they would be pinpointed the second someone glanced to their direction. Rila had a point, however, and they could simply steal from someone. While he personally didn't like stealing, they were few options that would end with them alive and well. It would only be a few articles of clothing, harmless really.

As they entered the village, most simply passed them by. Hiroyuki would have felt a bit at ease if not for the fact that there was one man who stared at them. He must have recognized their uniform. He tensed up. Would he alert the guards and send them their way? They couldn't fight well in their condition. It was lucky enough that they managed to escape, he wasn't sure if they could do it twice. "Sticking together is the better option." He seconded. They could split up later, if they so wish, but they needed to get far away from here first.

The man closed in and quickly offered up a place of residence. He then followed up with a name after Hikaru had asked it - proving that he was unafraid with letting his name go. But could they really trust the man? Were they really lucky enough to find an ally in the village? They wouldn't have much of a choice either way. If they didn't accept his offer, they might end up with struggling to find clothing and a roof above their heads to hide from the soldiers. If they did accept the offer, there was still the possibility of being betrayed and handed over to the guards on a silver platter. He simply kept quiet about it, looking towards Rila as she offered up questions to the man.
