Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Also, if y'all want to talk relationships, hit me up. He's been around Gravity Falls and he's pretty well known because when you need something done but you're not sure who to call, it's usually Gar.

I don't think Ludwig really knows what he's getting into. That, and he might be too curious to care until the danger is directly in his face.

There's also the odd, intelligent Squirrel. That might not like Gar as much.

Gotta watch out for a girl with a curse? bad skin condition. What a thoughtful man of the community.

Ah yes, will we get to see constantly-tired-man and a green squirrel having a stare off because they both don't like each other very much (more of Gar just not caring about it completely) but then it's actually a slow burn friendship until they become good friends despite everything

Considering how troublesome my characters will probably be between their individual antics Gar is a godsend.

I'm half sure Gar keeps an eye on Ludwig because when you go around spouting about the supernatural, you're bound to attract Gar's attention. And Sid for obvious black and white reasons.
Three cheers for Team Chaperone! Our motto is, 'Why are us two random adults hanging out with a bunch of kids all the time?'!

Hey, hey, Gar's reasoning is in the realm of "These kids will get sacrificed to the blood god if they're not careful so might as well tag along."

Also do not worry, Gar is a master at relieving stress with various types of items and encouraging words such as - "If you ignore it maybe it'll go away."

@Polaris North

They hired one a year or two back if you want that to be Gar then I am all for it :)

Yush it will be great for establishing relationships too and give a reason for Gar to stick around the Price siblings and thus the other kids as well.

Also, when I get back home, might I ask if I can PM you the details of my plan for the ring he has?

@Akayaofthemoon

Woop thanks. Also you said you need a Man of Mystery for the Mystery Shack? Gar could definitely fill that in every now and then.

Hey, it's me IRL.

Real talk: Like him. Seems like a fun character to have along for the ride.

Yeah man coffee is great. A lifeline~
So I've mulled around and seeing that being experienced with the supernatural is alright, I decided to go with a sort of Stanley like person who knows about these supernatural beings and is pretty used to them already.

So yeah, he's gonna be part of the adult supervision of this group who is constantly tired of all that goes bump in the night... and the morning.

Ay, you need another person for the ice bag? I'll work on em as fast as possible considering you're starting soon.

Upon the reassurance, Maria gave her a nod - taking a step back to give her more space. "Well, in any case, don't be afraid to call out for help. Just not... well..." She trailed off as she turned her gaze towards the nurses who were up and about, observing them. She wouldn't say anything out loud but the time she had spent in this institution had only risen her suspicions about it. There were many who were released - which meant that they supposedly had succeeded - but something bugged her. Why hadn't she gotten better? She'd been in the institution for far longer than most of the people there, a fact that she was not proud of. And yet they couldn't seem to cure her?

Pulled out of her thoughts by another person, Maria idly turned her gaze towards her. She had to take a moment to remember what her name was. Sarah. Right. She suggested some water and Sienna had agreed before inviting them to some snacks. "-I hope there is fruit. I think I could eat some fruit-" She could agree with that sentiment. "A snack sounds good about now." She wasn't particularly hungry but it wouldn't really do her any good to just be sitting around and waiting for the next big thing to happen.

"-patient is showing signs of-" Maria's gaze sharpened towards the nurse who seemed to be paying them a bit more attention than usual. For a moment, she just stood there and stared as if the nurse had done something horribly wrong. But she didn't. The nurse definitely didn't do anything wrong - it was just the voices in her head saying that. Piano music. She let out an aggravated sigh as she ran a hand through her hair. "Perhaps the food would do me some good." She muttered to herself with a small shake of her head.

"Just the cooking lesson. I cook, sure, but maybe the chef will give some better tips than what I know." She admitted as she took the lead to head towards the cafeteria where they can get something to munch on. She stumbled for a moment, glaring at the empty space before her before moving on. It wasn't exactly a rare occurrence to see Maria acting like that. Most of everyone knew that she suffered from hallucinations of some sort. "I'm not a big fan of horror movies." She continued, readily honest with that. "-clowns are bad-" She then waited for the others expectantly to hear their plans.

Ayane watched in anticipation as Ren entered the back of the ambulance. Thankfully, nothing had jumped out at them. However, what they found inside was disturbing. Ayane was originally relieved to see that there was someone else inside - someone who was living in the back of this ambulance. Kiyoko had called Ren to go outside due to the discovery of what seems to be fresh blood - fresh blood? Doesn't that mean they're close by? - before diving in herself. Ayane rolled her eyes. Because of course Kiyoko would do something like that. The girl's selflessness knew no bounds. She held her tongue as she surveyed the area around them, cautiously trying to pick up any signs of any other living being.

The diary that Kiyoko came out with was certainly... something. Whoever the author was wasn't right in the head anymore. The Land of Shadows, something about a barricade, something about there being no way out through the parking garage... and something about hearing the screams of people and not coming to help. So this was dangerous territory after all. There's something within this space that could cause such terror. He deemed this place a safe zone... but a safe zone from what exactly? Knowing that going any further would be fruitless, they closed it up.

"Amisaki has a point. Let's put the diary back. We wouldn't want to look like we're stealing anything from someone as unstable as that." If they reacted like that to screams of pain, Ayane wouldn't put it past the author to behave aggressively to anyone encroaching upon his territory. Which meant they had to go. Fast. The author had a cut so there was either something attacked him or they had accidentally injured themselves. Whatever the reason was, it meant they were still around and still posed a threat to them. As such, Amisaki's behavior was understandable. Sliding her own phone into her pocket to extinguish it somewhat, she moved closer to Kiyoko for a moment and leaned in to whisper, "Don't do anything reckless. Please." Patting her friend's shoulder once, Ayane stood back.

"Let's move carefully and quietly. Keep an eye out for the author... or anything else that lurks around here." She muttered to the group. While on the outside she seemed calm, her nerves were very much on edge. The reality of the situation had dawned upon her once more - that this place was dangerous and it was deadly. Even if the man was just going crazy, they were still in a land that wasn't their own. Or whatever the fuck that meant. But as long as they stuck together, they could work together to get through this.
