Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

Welcome, my friend!
Joseph 'Tank' Cooper

Tank made it to the bottom of the building, and let out a sigh as he stood at the doorway. Not out of exasperation of his job or if he was suddenly questioning the rhyme or reason for things. He was just bored and still kind of hungry. He dismissed the idea of going out for now. He'd probably go tomorrow and take in some sun as he did it. For now though, he spotted a few extra burgers abandoned on a table relatively close to the crime scene. "Who says crime doesn't pay?" he said to himself, pushing off the side of the doorway and strutting over, giving a nod and a smile to all who knew him before casually grabbing the food and heading off to his apartment. He'd begun eating before he'd even got back.

A few minutes later, Tank unlocked his door and headed in his place, kicking his chair out of the way of his walking path before setting down his food and locking the door behind him. He did his normal routine from there onward, which included push ups, sit ups, a shower, and then writing down in his journal everything he witnessed that day as he ate and listened to Jazz. He had a few pages made ready for the crime, but he spent the most time on his other journal section. A page for each member of his apartment mates, jotting down every little thing he not only noticed, but was assumed and hinted at. He didn't make it asleep until the early hours of the morning. It didn't matter though. He had another free day coming up.
Sorry, I was going to post last night but somehow in my head I thought we were waiting for day 2. I misread. Posting now!
Alcander Mires

Location: Hotel Shikta
Interacting with: @Lady Amalthea@Charnobylisk

Well, she didn't go up and sing again. One moment she was fine, and the next moment a man was on the ground from a mean punch by Claire. Damn, not bad. Alcander was still leaning back in his chair casually as one man turned into 4, and he nearly stood up to help before Murphy waded in. They were tag teaming it pretty well, if he had to be honest with himself. Sometimes guys like Murphy act tough and then everyone finds out they have glass jaws the hard way, but he was doing pretty well like his sister. Alcander gave a helpless shrug to Cass when she gave him that look, and both turned back to continue and watch the brawl.

For a split second a bit later, Alcander thought Cass was slumping over like Desh was, but she was just getting a better view of the fight... which in turn gave Alcander a better view of her curves. He caught himself taking in a gander before tearing his gaze away, forcing himself to look at the brawl. Nope, not a good idea for several reasons. Two of those reasons are named Claire and Murphy. He winced when he saw one tourist get clocked straight in the nose by Claire. "Nice one." he softly congratulated her.

As one douchebag approached Cass, Alcander was sure he would need to step in this time. He was already leaning out of his chair before Cass turned to him. "Excuse me a minute, jus' 'ave t'deal with this a sec. Be riiight back." she said. His brows raised, surprised at first. Then he knew he shouldn't be. He winked as if to say 'got it' and let her do her thing, which ended up with that guy getting his ass handed to him. Alcander whistled like her move was a thing of beauty, and it was to be honest. That was some bruce lee style stuff.

A second later, he saw another guy already through the entrance of the Hotel approaching Cass from behind. Alcander gathered he was a late addition and came in just in time to see her take out his friend. Alcander had thought twice now that he might be needed and it turned out differently, but the only other person was Desh and he was- shit, out cold. Thinking quickly, he knew he couldn't warn Cass or make it there in time, so he slipped up out of his chair, and thanked God the other chairs were in a staggered formation. He placed his foot on another chair before him and kicked it out, sliding it across the floor to hit the man's legs at their side, causing him to stumble and hit the ground hard right before he made it to Cass.

That was actually badass. Somehow I knew that'd work, he told himself, realizing how crazy things were getting. Well, take it one step at a time. He headed over to the guy on the floor, trying to pick himself up. He placed his foot on the guy's back and and sent him down again. "Stay down, man. You got floored by me and I'm the least of your worries here." he promised, then glanced to Desh. "Well...ok, maybe not. But mostly, yeah."

Boy I sure am glad Margaery is fucking dead.

BECAUSE WE ALL WANTED THIS

Can't tell if sarcasm.
Margaery was never someone who I expected to live until the end, honestly.
Red Strike (Ro'Kun)

Ro'Kun followed Omega and looked around curiously, drinking in the sights and the R&D peeps. He heard Omega talk about the 'you-know'what' and initially thought they meant he needed a cup for his suit. Ro'Kun knew HE needed one. Spandex didn't fit with his junk very well. "R&D people are the best. I know you'll argue that the guy who stock us up on food have no equal, but they like you, they're cooler about making gear for you. Maybe they'll make your suit red next time." Omega told him as he smirked.

Ro'Kun narrowed his eyes. "Wait wha? It's not red? Then how can I be...Red Strike?" he asked, pointing at both the suits and at himself with different hands. "Well...guess I can spray paint it. But then it'll smell all painty for like, 4 days. I have allergies, dammit."@FunnyGuy
@MaxwellHonestly my friend, I wouldn't be too hasty on that. Just put it in the back of your mind and don't worry about it for a bit. I think things are about to pick up, but I still have a feeling it's going to be slow going for awhile and we're to meet your character later anyway. So, imo, I'd say just let us know when your 'grace' period is done with. I wouldn't leave the game.
It's your choice however.
Breaking news

Judging someone for being male and generalizing all males is just as sexist as judging someone for being a woman and generalizing women.

This just in

Judging someone for being white and generalizing all whites is just as racist as judging someone for being black and generalizing all black people.

Am I doing it right?
A doctor pepper slid over to him, and he blinked. How the fruit did they know to get him that? He took a sip. Yep, it was real. He gave a smile to the Elven woman beside him, before the Pixie sat opposite to him, asking him about a job. "Wait...I thought you had a job for me." he chuckled.

His toned arms crossed across his chest, Rannon let out a breath as he waited. The scent of alcohol filled his nostrils, and he felt Gideon make an odd 'weeeooorgh' sound below him, shifting and leaning against the soldier's leg. "A brave man, taking a war hound on a pirate ship. I've heard bad things about people who cooped up their Mabari's for too long." he heard from his right. He blinked, and glanced over that way, before looking down at a rather short but attractive woman. He wasn't sure if she was a Dwarf or not, and it'd be best not to ask. He could tell just by how she stood that she wasn't one to trifle with, which was a trait he could respect.
He was the same.

"Giddy gets kind of restless, I'll admit." he told her, his iron eyes glancing behind both of them to the Elf and hulking mannish figure standing in line. He took it all in stride. He'd had to deal with worse things than odd companions before, if they too were signing up for this venture as well. "But," he continued, his gaze falling on Feri again. "He knows I'll kick his ass if he gets too riled up."

Gideon gave a snort, and nuzzled Rannon's leg to get his attention. "What?" the man asked him. Gideon sat down, large enough to be almost as tall as Feri. Gideon tilted his head and barked, drawing the attention of a few patrons across the Tavern.

"Hey I was kidding. We're in this together." Rannon chuckled. Gideon gave a pleased yelp, and his stubbed tail began to wag. Rannon gave his truest friend a grin, before nodding towards Feri. "Gideon, say hi."
The Mabari paused for a moment, and then tilted his body a bit closer to Feri, his ears perked up as he sniffed her shoulder.
