Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

I tend to be more of a "Why not" kind of person. I don't get annoyed easily. In fact, I probably won't get annoyed at a GM or player unless they are being an asshole, and even then as long as it's only at me, I'll probably let it slide for a few times until I put them down.

I feel as if I throw out a line in enough places, a few of them will get a big bite and will become long running and fun. I agree with @Pundii though. Presentation is good. If I see an OOC with only a paragraph of info that looks sloppy, probably won't join it myself.

I will say I only like moderate character sheets though. A good middle ground, with enough to where I have worked on them but not to an extreme. I dislike small ones, but I really hate overly complicated sheets, even if I begrudgingly do them. I have an ideal for a character ready that I want to play, and I enjoy letting them evolve and learning their history myself through the RP. I guess that's just the writer in me though. The best kind of characters are ones that write themselves, so over planning it is pretty much a death sentence to a lot of interesting characters. I feel like RP's with really complicated sheets are very tame when it comes to the IC with little actually happening because people are too concerned with the little things. (Not that you shouldn't be responsible and have info down of course).

Whoever is GMing and the players are of course something I notice. But there's no one on the RP guild that I hate/loathe/have a problem with. If I see someone I recognize, then it's either a "oh, it's them" or a "SWEET MY MAIN MAN IS HERE. FUCK YEAH."

I think what I mainly look for is if it is an interesting concept. Dragon Age or Star Wars or some other post apocalyptic nerdy shit? I'm probably in. I also am 70% Advanced, 25% Casual, and 5% free. I'll hardly join a Free Roleplay unless it's just a fun little thing like the Tavern. I enjoy Nation RP's, because I am a huge fan of strategy games and I love me some military history (or just history). I am also a big fan of combat, but I haven't tried the Arena yet. Guess I am thinking that I put that kinda stuff on a pedestal and if I join I might be really let down. Oh well.
Well, that tag didn't notify me for some reason. Yes, it is.

Also, might take me a bit to start reading and catching up. If I can get a small summary that'd be great. Don't worry though, it wouldnt keep me from looking over the IC. It'd just let me have something to grasp beforehand lol. I just got into my new apartment yesterday.
@rush99999Tbh I am morbidly curious, so I'll allow it. But next time if you have something planned, let me know first please.
@Aristo If you're a Warhammer Fantasy fan, think of it this way.

Bania = Kislev+Sylvania
Kaelic Isle = Albion

But yes, I have more info. But I'd need specific questions.
Yep, Rush got it. But no worries, I get lost too sometimes. I'll make a list right here just in case for everyone.

Red Strike (Ro'Kun)

Red Strike took it all in stride, though he was still a bit awestruck that literal gods were hanging around. He'd nearly forgotten that Enyo was one of them. The sex thing explained the 'gentle' remark from earlier. "So...he wants to see you on a permanent basis? Well, we can tell him no, and if he has a problem with that, you can kick his ass, or I can. Either way. He might be some mischief god, but I'm Red Strike." He flexed jokingly. To be honest, I already felt like punching this guy's face in. Too many guys were sore losers!

Calanon (& Brogach)

Location:The burnt The road
Interacting with: Gretchin

After many minutes, Calanon felt very relaxed and content with the day. The young Elf let out a small breath, and opened his keen eyes to view his group. Seems everything was about the same from he could see. The two Half Orcs were enjoying one another's company, or at least conversing. Brogach glanced up at Calanon still standing atop his back. "Let's move up, friend." he said softly, and the Elk padded a bit faster until Calanon put some pressure atop the Elk's back to signify slowing down. They had ended up by Gretchin.

"Well met." he said to her, stepping off Brogach and landing lightly upon the road. He tilted his head and asked a question he'd been meaning to for awhile now. "Where did you learn to shoot the bow?" It had always come naturally to Calanon, but it had still taken some hard work along with some trial and error to get to his skill level now. He wondered how humans did it.
Red Strike (Ro'Kun)

Ro'Kun set Omega's stuff down where it was needed, then heard his comm go off. "Oh, sure!" he said, then headed back to his room where he last saw Enyo. Of course he told Omega he had to go first. He poked his head in, giving a smile.

Alcander Mires

Location: Back to the Hotel
Interacting with: The peeps

Alcander had just stepped into the hotel when the massive chain reaction of getting into one another's personal space occurred. He merely had on pants, with a shirt around his shoulders that he'd used as a makeshift towel. Left his shoes upstairs as well. His black hair was still lightly glistening from the pool.

He gave a quick shake of his head to get his hair out of his vision and watched, too far away to give any help but close enough to see every little emotion pass through their faces. Even Mr. Clops got in on the action, before bounding away. He sighed. Just another day at the luxurious Best Exotic Hotel.

There was a small twitch of curiosity that appeared on his face when he saw the newcomer offer to help Tash to her room. He couldn't help but give a slightly helpless smile. The 'history' part of his comment gave Alcander a lot of assumptions. He decided to help a bit as he walked by, giving the smallest whisper. "Being a bit too forward there, mate." he breathed with a knowing wink, making sure it wasn't mistaken for a mischievous one.

Stepping past him, he casually wound up standing next to his three drinking companions from last night. "Gang..." he said in greeting, then grinned as he reached two hands down, offering to help up both Claire and Cass. His next remark was half sarcastic. "Got any plans for the day, or are we all nursing hangovers?"

Honestly, he just wanted to help at the moment. But his question was just to give him a small connection to them, just in case. That was a good thing, he thought. Right? Perhaps it might be better if I just head up and read. 'Least that way I know I'll be content for the day.
