Name: Ben
Username: The one and only. Dare I say?
Age: 33
Ethnicity: Mixed
Sex: Male
Religion: Christian (Nondenominational)
Languages: English, Japanese (Semi-fluent & learning), I also know some Scots Gaelic, Quenyan (Elvish), and Miccosukee (My tribal tongue)
Relationship Status: Single (Though generally unavailable unless I find I really enjoy someone).

Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

Ok friends, where we at. Who's gonna go kick who's ass?
Should get to properly fixing/working on my guy on the morrow
@GreyI actually have a story about Viva La Vida and a friend.

I grew up with a guy named Keenon. He was funny and nice, and he loved movies. He was also one of the only DBZ fans other than me in my school (in highschool). He committed suicide in 2014. But why Viva La Vida connects to him, is because I remember back in 2009. We were on our senior trip, having just graduated from Highschool. (For reference, we took the trip on the week Micheal Jackson's funeral was held). We went to Destin on the Gulf of Mexico at my friend Mackey's beach house. It was so pretty there, and we would go out on the deck and talk about what we'd do next for the day. I think it was like, noon when me and Keenon walked out on the balcony and heard some R&B or Rap upstairs booming across the complex. We weren't in the mood for that shit. I brought my MP3 player out, stuck it in the speakers, and blared Viva La Vida even louder. Everyone on the beach saw Keenon and I dancing to Coldplay, with some (probably) pissed off people above us.

Day 13 - A song you sing to in the shower

I feel like this could be any song, so I'll just go with a good one

Ben smiles to Ayeka. "Cool, glad you got some time to yourself." he said, nodding past the Elf to the girl who seemed a bit nervous. She had glanced his way at least. He turned on his bar stool and faced the woman that had walked up asking Ayeka for a room. Well, he supposed the Elf couldn't get a break for very long. He was sure it was just a small bit of time before she came back though. He gave them both a smile and a wave, and then he began to chow down on his pizza. "Oh man this is good." he said, his voice husky with hunger.

@Heiress of IceVery cool to meet you!
Luckily I am exempt from the rules of players ;)
Also, I was giving Austronaut another day to post. She let me know she is busy moving internationally so she can go over the limit, but I'd rather not continue and bypass her character. Though I will if need be soon. @rush99999 Her character would be safe of course.
Thurin Stoutarm

Unlike his comrades, Thurin walked. He was more sure footed on the ground, and only truly had his sturdy horse for hauling extra goods or, if need be, quick getaways. The Dwarf trudged through the snow, no complaint on his lips. He kept his silence for the most part, other than a few grumbles he gave as he tried to finish the last two verses of a small song he was making. His horse snorted, the beast's mane covered in snowflakes just as Thurin's black beard and hair was.

They stopped for tracks, and the Dwarf nodded sagely at the find. It wasn't the bear just yet, but he kept his Axe close to his side nonetheless as they began to march forward once more. A voice rose up, and Vamyr called the Dwarfs name. "Right." the Dwarf said, taking his Axe out. It wasn't a threatening or aggressive gesture, but it was clear the Dwarf agreed with the man's curt assessment of the situation, and he stood tall (for a Dwarf) and vigil.
@SoundestBeatsIt's very cool to meet you!
A Song That Reminds you of Your Best Friend

I'm more into hardcore music nowadays, but my best friend Mackey was into some of the newer rock of the 2000's and we kinda discovered bands through each other. He showed me Rise Against. It was his fav band (might still be). This one is for you, Mac.
