Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

I've written a lot of pages over the years, but I never actually participated in this because I mainly didn't like making my writing into an assignment. But this year I'm trying it.

Genre: Science Fiction
The Ultramarine Omnibus by Graham McNeill. I've read these books back in...I can't recall. I think Highschool or early years of college, and I'm just getting back into it. I'm just starting the third book in my re-read, so the last book of this omnibus, and there are six books in all (that are written, so two Omnibus'). This omnibus follows the Captain of the 4th company Uriel (as well as a few others, particularly his Sergeant Pasanius), fighting Necrons, Tyranids, and Chaos Space Marines throughout this interesting narrative. McNeill does a fine job by giving the rigid and fairly indoctrinated Space Marine mind a sense of self and a real individuality, which people don't often give to the Astartes very much, especially such a rigid chapter as the Ultramarines. Not only that, but he gives a wide variety of secondary and major human characters, as well as different world politics across the Imperium. I recommend this series for those wanting a good Space Marine read, as well as another Omnibus...

Genre: Science Fiction
The Space Wolf Omnibus by William King. If you're familiar with William King's Warhammer fantasy books, you'll not want to miss this Omnibus either. I never did finish the last book, but that was more from life than lack of enjoyment. William King writes just as well in this Omnibus, following the dark recruitment, training, and missions of Ragnar the Space Wolf, and his squad of Space Wolves. It's a stark contrast to the highly disciplined Ultramarine novels. For those that don't know, the Space Marines are highly encouraged to follow the Codex Astartes, a book of war written by the Ultramarine's Primarch back after the Horus Heresy. Most Chapters follow its example and rules, but a few key ones do not, the Space Wolves particularly among them. Known to have as much skill and discipline in battle as an Ultramarine, but they're also much more independent and separate from other Chapters with their own unique customs and battle doctrine. It's a hell of a Nordic themed read, as well.
Small post, but done!
The world was barren and muggy, though still very much like many worlds he'd been to previously. The only differences there were the fact that millions if not billions of imperial citizens lived above or below him. Here, this city only had the foul Ork, and he was ever at the ready. If only he could get used to certain aspects of the job, like the Psyker trying to mount the Xenos vehicle, for instance. Oh well, he'd seen more insane than her, as hard as that was to believe.

"I've set many explosives in my day," Herold said aloud as they spoke of contingency plans. He stepped forward, beside Vala and Ansgar. "I have a few grenades I can use for anti tank or personnel traps. But if the trooper has more, I'll help set them." He told them, matter of fact. It beat standing around, though if that was his orders he'd do that with just as much staunch determination as he used with all tasks.
Neil's confident bravado fled when he realized she actually did think it was pretty appealing. He blinked, not used to actually being patted on the back for doing something good. First time for everything, he supposed. But there was no time to dwell on it, thanks to Lonney's timely warning, and the two partner's-in-crime ducked and dodged their way through the machinery and alleys of the factorum world.

Once they made it there, the genderless and utterly devoid of emotion voice that echoed across the corridor had Neil a tad interested. Only someone who paid handsomely for certain services would deign to conceal themselves, and the two had already been paid handsomely recently. If they kept this up, Neil could afford decent tools to work with, and upgrade the shields on the Highlander. He might also give Lonney a holographic image...

His thoughts on the matter disappeared when the voice was reduced to what reminded him of a nervous school girl. He stuck in his hands in his pockets as Sayeeda played this girl like a fiddle with her no nonsense style, and he shook his head as the girl fumbled. It was kinda cute, he thought. Though Neil was into older and more mature women. He wasn't really wanting someone who needed their hand held.

You could basically hear the record scratching when she mentioned Cho-Lan was to have them killed, and the Duke was going after Cho-Lan. "Well that's...news." Neil deadpanned.

Taya bit her bottom lip, eyes flickering to the side as if she was suddenly unsure if she should even be here, and if there was a way out just in case. But she steeled herself and breathed deeply, and continued with her thought. "I don't know much..." she admitted. "Other than what I've overheard. But the Duke has suspicions of my father and his business partners." She went on, wringing her hands. "The Duke wants to rule this world as its only sovereign, and with this war being initiated as it had, he just might be given the executive power to do it. And my father's rivals...they're angered at you two for your part in the discovery of the Xenos."

Neil let out a breath of air that caused the fringe of his hair to sway, knowing where this was going. "They want your blood, and a very large sum of money of they'll cut off ties with him, and target him and...his family." She looked down at her feet. "You're only a symbol of good faith to them. What they really wish for is business assets. If you, or I, am gone before they can find us, they'll not be too disappointed. If all my father loses is a few factories, he'll deserve what he gets."

"But the R.I.P. is out of control. Where would we hide, one of the asteroids?" Neil asked, not entirely confident he could fly through the blockade of Xenonid bioships in Orbit. Not if the Fornax Navy was losing.
@Penny
@NuttsnBolts When'd you go to SuperNova, Nutter? I'm jealous tbh.
Wow, she literally just halted Manny solving her problems because she wasn't finished speaking. I have no words, and neither will my character.
Will be working post haste! Though I still need to pick on if I want to transfer/update a certain Nord I made elsewhere, or go in a new direction.
If he's apex argonian, no wonder they were enslaved for three solid eras.

I'm not sure what to make yet tbh. Excited, though!

BEGONE THOT

..I mean, it's you! What kind of lizard man is in the docket this time, Sir Poopie

Oh I get it. The Argonian gets the shaft.

Srsly though, idk. Might go a different route this time, since Dax is the epitome of reptilian evolution. But I shall think on it.
