I never notice someone's post count until I see (ignore post count) and then I totally look at it, out of habit and curiosity.

So we're going full circle on the free will debate, I see.
@POOHEAD189

When ever does the current administration admit anything to their opposition? Look at the lengths they have gone to in order to prevent leaking. Everything they do behind the scenes is under absolute lock and key, utter secrecy, because anything they do - even going back to the moon - is somehow fuel for controversy and spite. As for having "Nothing to hide.", that seems to be the real issue, that they have nothing to hide. But this comes back around, do you enjoy people spying on you? Everyone makes a great point of the hysteria about "net neutrality" and internet privacy, see all the issues taken with the National Security Agency alone, so why would this be any different? Let us not forget the man has been called "one of the most transparent administrations in history" and has complied with all the requests for information.

The Donald Trump Jr. meeting, as we have come to learn was a set-up by his opposition in an attempt to trap him for having a meeting. I remind you that they were indeed there under entirely different pretenses that had nothing to do with intelligence gathering about their opponent. If that were untrue, the argument of collusion would have been proven outright. Donald Trump Jr. politely saw himself out the moment it turned that direction and this has been publicly validated; it was posted directly to Twitter even.

I am not going to point fingers at previous administration, because everyone rolls their eyes at it, but thus far? There is significantly less scandal here still compared to "scandal free" presidencies and ones that promised transparency and still have holdovers who refuse to honor it - to the point of ignoring court orders, repeatedly choosing to plead the fifth, decline to appear, or submit documents for Freedom of Information requests or investigative agency demands. That is suspicious to me. The President and his inner circle being completely tight-lipped? Not an ounce of shock down the spine here.

Sorry, I was busy the last two days.
1) This isn't the 'opposition' that is questioning. This is the United States of America trying to see who they can and cannot trust.
2) This also isn't 'people are spying on me and no one likes that.'

The fact of the matter is, this isn't a case where some backwards neighbor is rooting through someone's garbage. This is a Federal Investigation, and Donald Trump, along with his staff are under allegations of treason.

Anytime someone is not 100% truthful with the investigation, particularly with Russians, means they are either guilty of something they don't want found out, they have abysmal memories, or they're just stupid.

Also, if I were you I'd find other sources than the ones you used that claim the meeting was a 'plot by the opposition.' It's already known Donald Trump Jr. wanted to find info on his opposition at the meeting but he did not get the chance.

Look to the fake news parade and how many times they have jumped the metaphorical gun with believing they had proof on this investigation; no one knowing anything is for the better, because apparently, if they even so much as think they know something, they fire it off and hope they are right. That is not how an agency, federal or news, should be doing business.

I wouldn't call people claiming there is a smoking gun 'fake news' but it's definitely misleading so far. Though it's about as misleading as Trump calling CNN fake news.
Hell yeah!
Glad to have you! Welcome, friend :)
NASA has recently discovered an 8 planet system, with 2 planets theorized to have the potential for life, using its Kepler Spacecraft. Friday at 1 PM ET they are hosting a teleconference to announce something as well.
Rhaak had heard the footsteps and shouts in the distance, as well. Somewhere a woman squealed and a camel gave a guttural cry. "Where are they?" A rough voice called, and Amira would see peasants being shoved out of the way by the armored Mamluks who served as the Jannisary's vanguard. The Pit Fighter didn't know what crime his new master had committed, but she was being pursued nonetheless.

He didn't ask why. Questions would come later if he felt she was in a speaking mood. But as of now, old habits died hard. The shallow red light of the burning sun that filtered through the tent was just enough illumination for him to get the scope of the room. His callused hands swiftly began to feel around the hut for any loose boards or hidden doors, knocking and pressing.

He found none. He'd rather not break through some of the parts made of timber and clay, but that might be what they had to do. He backstepped and turned to his master. "Get behind me, Mas-" only to feel an uneasy part of the ground beneath his feet once he had stepped. The ground felt fragile and...wooden. Hurriedly, he swept away the carpets under his feet to reveal a wooden hatch that led below the shop.

He grabbed the bronze latch and opened up the hatch. Dust and stuffy air billowed out, but below he could make out a tunnel they could reach if they survived a short drop. Hoping beyond hopes that she was not going to chastise him for taking the initiative, he grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the open hatch. It would be daunting to see the hole with no stairs, and so he promptly picked her up with one hand and grabbed the latch with the other, leaping down into the hole and closing it on his way down through gravity.

He landed on his feet roughly, and swiftly placed the Sorceress on her feet. Below them was nothing but sand and fallen rags. To the left was a decaying corpse, its rotting flesh bedecked in the livery of an alchemist. Someone the old man perhaps wanted to disappear silently. Rhaak wondered how he could see anything down here, but in the distance there was a light. The tunnel that led out looked man made, with wooden rafters mixed with the rent earth.

Neil turned his head, the expression on his face somewhat perturbed and annoyed, as if he was being bugged by some unexpected phenomena like spilled milk. However, the unfamiliar silhouette of an object that was approaching that even he could now see with his naked eye was a startling revelation. "Uh, yeah let's see if we can take advantage of this gift from the fricken stars," he replied back on the comm, though whether or not they could benefit from it, he wasn't sure of.

"Antimatter?" He mouthed to himself, and then shrugged before hauling ass back inside to take control of the Highlander. Antimatter was a volatile material from all he'd heard. It would either solve their problem and get them out of this mess, or it would kill them much faster than their current status of 'starving to death in the void.'

The next Sayeeda heard of Neil, it was the door to the cockpit sliding open with him stomping through the door with his suit on. He had his helmet off, but that was about it. "Maneuver? We're going to maneuver the hell on out of here." He told his Captain, hopping onto the cockpit's pilot seat. The frumpy suit made an oddly specific gaseous noise when he sat, which had Neil chuckling to further enhance his daring mood. Thankfully, Sayeeda's fears were not realized. It would pass by them judging from the coordinates on the screen. Just barely.

"Lonney, redirect the power to the cables. We're only going to have one shot at this."

"Yes sir, First Officer Neil Edwards."

"Wh-..." Neil turned to Junebug with an accusatory look, his voice somewhat higher pitched. "What did you do to Lonney?"

Sayeeda snapped twice in front of his face, placed two fingers to her eyes and then to the display monitor. Neil gave a start as if she'd just woken him up. He turned around and unhooked the cables, opening the firing mechanism and took control of the secondary handles, his thumbs over the 'loose' button.

"Ten thousand kilometers before impact," The AI announced, and began to count down from five thousand with mechanical and unerring accuracy. Neil let out a labored breath, his eyes straining as he saw what he perceived as a smooth asteroid enter within range. Just before his thumb hit the button, he spoke up.

"By the way this might make us explode."

Just to keep this OOC somewhat active and amusing, what plot predictions do you all have for the game?

Once we make it out of here, we're either going to find ourselves suddenly behind enemy Dwemer territory, or we're going to come out with a secret of the Dwemer we had not know previously. Also it is unknown if Rhea's gonna kick the bucket.

Bonus round; what pop culture references do you think we're going to shoehorn in here?

I hope my post brought this about.
@The Harbinger of Ferocity I'll refer you to Penny's quote

Mueller's investigation will drag on for years yet. Watergate took years and there was something to find. If there is no collusion it will clearly be harder to prove a negative. They wouldn't be dealing with Flynn and Papadoplis if they didn't have something to offer but we will have to wait and see exactly what that is.

Not only that, but the question that remains is, if Trump or his staff staff never had anything to hide, how come they never give a full story?
Like the meeting with Donald Jr. and the the Russian lawyer. Why did it take weeks for them to admit it was not just him, but in fact 8 people in the room? It took multiple occasions of questions and reports to find out something Donald Jr. could have just outright stated.
This is a consistent trend within the Trump administration. If they do have nothing to hide, they're doing a poor job at it.
