I started ATLA late, around Covid. But I love the first series and think TLoK is pretty good despite some problems

I never notice someone's post count until I see (ignore post count) and then I totally look at it, out of habit and curiosity.

Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

Ok just read through the stuff. I'd like to point out 1) I appreciate the Johan continuity. And 2) That is a very large town hall, judging from the pic. I thought this was a minor town in the Reikwald!
Damnit I should have called him Johan Strauss

The II
While I am glad you guys are posting, I want to say the slow posting has been somewhat good because it has given me time to play DBZ: Kakarot and I want to thank you.
@Jarl Coolgruuf Nope, he is accepted! Place him in the character tab and post at your leisure!
Roland took a deep breath, his face stern and unyielding. He regretted to say, he was beginning to get used to constant battle and the penetrating darkness. He might feel differently without the sword he had procured, but then again he might not. His normally kind eyes were gone, and his youthful face looked a few years older with experience. He looked between the three exits, pondering and wondering how they could tell where to go.

The upper floor was likely the best, but caves twisted and went up and down ubiquitously. He couldn't rightly trust it. He was still thinking on it when Iseldis caught his attention, and he snapped to attention. "Oh..." He breathed, his fierce look dissolving into youth once more when he realized they were not under attack, at least yet. He stalked over and sheathed his sword, grabbing the planks with his callused hands.

He grunted. "I think I can. Back up," he whispered, and once she did he would put his weight and strength into it, gritting his teeth as he pushed. If nothing else, Roland was strong. Long hours hauling knightly equipment and war drills in the training yard had hammered him into a muscled squire, and within seconds the door began to budge. Slowly at first, but after a moment it shot open like a firearm.

The echo reverberated off the walls with an uncomfortable loudness, and he looked back to Iseldis as if he had dropped some expensive pottery, smiling guiltily. "They would have heard that," he deadpanned, and tossed her the Staff, grabbing the rest of their supplies too as she kept watch for the moment. Within, he found a small crossbow as well. That might come in handy.

Walking out, Roland crossed the room and grabbed a few potions too, not knowing what they did but anything could help if they were desperate enough. He plucked them up and dropped them by the armful into his beltsack, hearing them clink until they were nestled within the cloth he had within to dampen the noise. He prayed to Eruvar these things could help somehow.

"Where should we go?" He asked, knowing enemies could bear down on them at any minute. They might not know what the noise signified, but that was small comfort. "I'll follow your lead. I trust you."
@Luminosity
Well Ive only been here for 4 years but welcome back!
So as a heads up it seems I have fallen at least partly ill and might not attend to my daily routine as I am used to. Combined with the last weekend this likely implies that I won't be able to get my starter up until friday evening, which, I know, breaks the weekly posting precept.

Sorry :(

Worry not, bud. You are an old friend and deserve rest
@Jarl Coolgruuf He's great!

I just need 2 things.

1) Expand slightly on his travels north and south, from between when he left his home until he was 30.
2) Tell me what armor he has, unless he has no armor which you can do, but it will make you more vulnerable in the RP itself, FYI.
@Kal-El Unfortunately, we have no open spots at this time.

The Dunmer's armor sundered, he fell dead, bleeding profusely onto the wooden floorboards. The Argonian spun, attempting to slash with his axe again to keep the other soldiers at bay but it was stuck fast within the dead enemy's armor, and Dax ducked a swing of a sword that bounced off one of his horns on the crown of his head. He did what he could do, and on instinct that was biting. His teeth sand into the wrist of the Dunmer that had struck his head, piercing skin and flesh, causing the mer to scream and draw his dagger. Daixanos caught the wrist, and let go of the arm to strike at the Dark Elf's neck, bowling him over as he severed the soldier's jugular with his large canines.

As the Dunmer's cries and struggles faded, Dax heard the other two swordsmen behind him had run into the other room, clearly going in to try and attack Kris. Her victory over dispatching Vorn keeping her preoccupied at the moment. The Saxhleel lifted his bloody maw away from the torn throat of his enemy and he cried out to her. "Landstrider! Enemies!" before he himself tore off toward the main entrance door, where the two were still in sight headed in the direction of the balcony. He thanked the Hist that he had strung his bow before they had come, and he slid the weapon off his back and took an arrow in his hand, sliding it down the string and loosing it in one fluid motion.

The arrow flew between the two, but if his cries of warning hadn't reached her ears, the arrow flying out from inside onto the blacony surely did as the arrowhead struck the railing, causing sparks from the steel's collision. Dax took another arrow from his quiver and aimed, firing not a moment later and managing to hit the lagging Dunmer in a groove of his cruel armor, causing him to stumble and gasp. The other charged forward tho and engaged Kris in combat without warning, hacking at her savagely.

Dax's eyes fell on the dead guard he had first dispatched, and he put his bow up, placing a powerful foot on the breastplate as he yanked the axehead out of its side to regain his battle axe. He was going to assess the situation further, but shouts below and footsteps echoing on the stairs told him all he needed to about the situation. He suddenly dropped his axe and picked up one of the corpses, using his corded muscles to lift it over his head.

As the first guard to respond rose to the last step, he was hit in the chest by a flying cadaver, knocking him and his fellows back down the stairs in a heap. It would at least buy them some time, the Argonian wasting none and sprinting towards Kris to aid her. As he approached the balcony, he saw the floundering guard he had shot. The hunter ended his life with a chop of the axe, the head rolling from of his neck.
