I never notice someone's post count until I see (ignore post count) and then I totally look at it, out of habit and curiosity.

Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

Interest Check

Hi, thanks for stopping by. You probably have seen me around the site, as I'm a huge forum slut who somehow gets to know a lot of people. However, I tend to have a far narrower list of people I roleplay with (more on that soon). All you really need to know about me personally is that I'm a 29 year old guy.

Now, as pertaining to my roleplaying.
  • I write advanced posts. Good grammar, sexy vocabulary, usually over four paragraphs per post. I expect the same from you.
  • Communication and creativity is something I try to have, and you'll need the same. Talk to me and make plots and NPCs! I love hearing people's suggestions on things.
  • I have the right to tell you no. If you contact me to roleplay and I feel like our style doesn't/wouldn't mesh, it won't be personal. I have a limited amount of time to roleplay, so I prefer to enjoy it 95% of the time.
  • All of my roleplays are 18+ so you need to be over that age. I love dark themes, violence, and though I don't usually do smut, if I'm comfortable with you then I'm open to it.
  • I prefer if you DM me your interest, but I won't get mad if you ping me here.
  • My writing influences are R.A. Salvatore, William King, Richard Baker, Robert E. Howard, Robert Jordan, and R. Lee Byers.
  • If we already have a roleplay together, feel free to still contact me! This isn't just for new people.
  • I love a good mixture of both grim realism and over the top actions and themes.

@BewitchedOnyx Welcome to the Guild! Glad to have you back
The two conversed as they began, pushing the cart uphill to help the donkey until they were set on the proper path. Once there, even the two chatty fellows would find the foliage growing more and more foreboding, almost pressing silence upon them regardless of their curiosities or efforts to keep a casual air about their travel. The donkey seemed somewhat glum (even for a donkey) but it didn't look overly agitated or fearful, which at least likely meant there was no problems with beasts so far.

A large gulley lay on their right, and on their left a steep upwards incline into the swell of a hill. It rose like a wave and where it began to dip, as it was hard to tell with the trees in the way. Across the gulley and past the creek within its bed was just further trees, hiding all manner of Gods-know-what. To a couple of entrepreneurial chaps such as these, it might look like a lot of untapped resources. But the terrain was far too hilly to capitalize on it without a vast team of hired hands and a guard to keep them safe and protected if any of the stories of the Blackwood were to be believed.

An hour passed by, and the donkey was guiding up yet another hill. It grunted irritably, but did its job without going lax as some stubborn donkeys were liable to do. The three just crested the hill when they found themselves on a straight path without the perils of twisting over uneven ground. The trees here were thicker, however, but that was not the most noticeable aspect.

In front of them stood two large men; Knights, in fact. They were black and grey, with a marking of a skull at the center of their torso. Emilio and Wēlanandaz would see they were heavily armored in gambesons, chainmail, and bits of plate in the form of pauldrons and greaves. Their faces were hidden behind great helms given the visages of skulls at the front, and two steel horns plumed with feathers fanned out above their helmets. They held large swords, perhaps greatswords even, their blades on the ground with both hands on the hilts made of bone. Silently they stood there, saying nothing as the two fellows and their donkey came into their field of vision.

Were it not for the slight tremor of their bodies from breathing, and the fact they were standing upright, it would have been difficult to tell if they were awake or even alive.

I'm a Stormcloak supporter and in the 'Ulfric isn't racist' camp so be gentle, Landstrider
The Imperial man leaped at Dax with little warning, the rage of the north some how infecting him as it did the rest of the landstriders. Diaxanos ducked under his blow, grasping his outstretched arm like a flying fish and yanked forward with his shoulder, sending the Imperial bowling over to hit another charging Nord that had nearly been in range to flatten Kris. Dax heard the crunch and knew a bone had likely been broken, but he cared very little. They might not heal as quickly as Argonians, but they still healed. His snide thought was driven out of him when someone broke a chair over his back, shattering the wood with the force. Dax staggered forward, and on instinct sent his tail whipping upwards like a bullwhip, scraping across the soft flash he figured was on his attacker's face. There was a cry of terror and a stumbling as whoever had attacked him tripped over and fell out of the fight.

Kris had yet to draw steel, but Dax saw that look in her eyes when she regained her feet and knocked the teeth out of the Dunmner there. Dax was jealous for that, but decided he could hit a Dunmner later. Right now he had to dodge a thrown mug of frosted ale.

"Hey, that's expensive stuff!" The inn keeper, Elda Early-Dawn, cried. She held a cudgel and looked to have already whacked a rowdy patron over the head with it, the unconscious fellow at her feet. Daixanos at least guessed he was unconscious as there was no blood on the rod.

All of the sudden, two nords grabbed Dax by both of his arms. Dax planted his feet firmly on the ground and under a table leg, squaring his form to keep his center of gravity relatively stable. He could smell their rank, human breath spilling onto him as they tried to wrest him from the ground. To their surprise, they found him hard to move. Dax wasn't as large as the two men, but he was large for one of his race and he was all muscle with almost no fat on his body. Granted, he couldn't exactly shake out of their grips either, but he kept them in check at the moment with sheer stubborn resolve.

"Filthy lizard!" One grunted, only for Kris to knock him flat with a guantleted fist, crushing his nose with a spray of blood. The fluid spritzed on Dax's crimson skin, losing itself on the similar colored arm that Dax used to elbow the other nord with into his stomach. It knocked the wind out of him, clearly. With a hiss of distaste, he shoved the fellow who tripped over Dax's tail just as the Argonian intended, hitting the ground. His head smacked against a fallen table, and even Dax and Kris winced at the 'snap' they heard from the impact.

"Are you..ok?" Dax asked Kris, still unused to being with a traveling companion. She was about to reply when a clapping sound rose above the now-silence of the barroom. Dax hadn't even noticed everyone had either fled or were knocked out. The two turned their heads to see a burly nord in the corner, who looked a true warrior in stature and trappings. Far more than these civilian hooligans, at the very least.

"Impressive! Very impressive..." He said, his accent thick on his tongue. "You have the capacity to be Stormcloaks, I think. Of course, you look like ones who don't wish to be involved in politics. I will leave you to decide. Nevetheless, I know someone who might have an offer for you on a job, if you're willing."

"And who is that?" Kris asked.

"Follow me. Let me take you to Ulfric Stormcloak."

"What the fuck?" Miguel whispered on his comm. Neil could tell Miguel wasn't really passionate about taking risks. He was a 9-5 kinda guy. Still, the pilot was confused too, seeing Junebug heading down the ridge with a thirteen or fourteen year old carrying a rifle right behind her. He knew it was a kid but if he decided to turn that barrel on Sayeeda she'd have no chance of surviving. Taya behind the both of them should have made him feel at ease, but lo and behold it didn't. They might not be too far off, but with the sun glaring down on Neil he wasn't the crackshot he usually was.

"Who the hell is that?" Neil called to her when she was in earshot, vaulting over the back of the junker they'd been driving.

"Who the hell are you!?" The younger kid said, pointedly trying to make Neil not talk past him. Far from it, actually. Neil was a big kid himself. He knew kids were far smarter and more wiley than people gave them credit for. That being said...

"Who the fuck are you talking to!?" He yelled at the kid.

"Down boy. You're here to be pretty, not speak." Junebug remarked, trying to hide a smile from him. Neil gave her a look, knowing she was just trying to demasculate him in front of the kid. Taya had arrived to stand by the young shooter, and Neil thought they were pretty much the same size. It nearly made him laugh, but he decided to just poke Sayeeda more to explain what was going on. She acquiesced a moment later, taking the sling of her rifle off her shoulder and placing it beside her seat in the junker. "We're taking this kid back to his place."

"Is that cool with the boss?" He asked.

"We were hired to protect the caravan...we protected it. What does it matter we're a little late to making it back? They don't pay us to kill kids."

Neil tongued his toothpick, hefting his own gun in the sunlight. "You got it, Captain."
