On another note, I do have the concern that the cast is not getting time to breathe between these GM events but it is what it is.

I’ll be moving at a slower pace from here on out.
Yeah, sorry. I think this is just generally going to be too speedy for me.

I'm used to more slow-paced activity, I'm not suited for a large group like this.

In my experiences rps always slow down after the first day. I’ll keep a more manageable pace for now. Sorry again.
@Product
I'm not real clear on the distance between the alleyway and the back lot of Telma's with the shrubbery, and I kind of intended Drifter to be sort of unseen in the background until the rest of the characters made their way back there, so as not to overcrowd the potential fight scene. Should I assume this wasn't the case, and Telma's addressing him with the rest? It's not that I don't want to interact with everyone else, it's just that I didn't want to charge in and make the scene even more chaotic since it seemed fairly clear it was about to be a "THE BEACONS ARE LIT, GONDOR CALLS FOR AID" moment as everyone rushes to save Dekkunda.

Would it be okay if I just had him feel an unusual draft or something, then find the well on his own? Is it under a bush or overgrowth like in Link to the Past?

That’ll work well! (Ba dum tish) The well is overgrown like in a Link to the Past.
Nobody is at risk of being left behind. I only wanted to move the scene from the wet street into the bar while everyone introduced themselves. I apologize if I’m moving too quick. I was a little over excited to start.
Hyrule Castle Town - Green District

Telma's Bar

In a flurry, the mugger found himself surrounded. Turning to face the glowing knight behind him, the lowlife took a well trained defensive stance. For a brief moment, he looked prepared to fight his way out, but before he could strike he was interrupted by a stray crossbow bolt.

*Swoosh*

Under the heavy rain and wind combined with the commotion in the alley, it was doubtful anyone could hear the heavy bolt of the backdoor unlatch. Stepping into the rain, a tall, shapely figure emerged with a crossbow in hand. As she rounded the corner, the features of a middle-aged gerudo woman became apparent to the party before she fired a shot between the two. "The next shot won't miss." She warned everyone in her alley. Realizing he was outnumbered, and out classed the mugger dropped his knife. "You're interrupting our poker game. Now scram!"

Reluctantly, everyone had to let the man go through. There was an important mission to be had, and there was no time to go turn in this scum. Once the street was finally clear of any locals, Telma gave a big wink to the misfit party as she gestured for the group to follow her through the back door, nearly tripping over the shrub that seemed to have just sprouted up over night. And why did that magician summon a boulder in the alley? "C'mon, friends," She announced to everyone, barely noticing the dressed shadow that had just scaled the wall. "Lets get out of this rain."

"Was he trying to drop the boulder on him?" Telma muttered beneath her breath.

As the group began to pour in, the Barkeeper left the back door open, letting the cool air into the bar, and leaving the room inviting to anyone else who had heard the message from the Queen.
@AtomicNut Are you posting now? I'm working on something that'll clear up this fight and leave plenty of time for everyone else to post who hasn't arrived yet. I can have it up in a few minutes, but I'll wait if you've started something.
I still think we need to chill until the GM gets back around.

He's gonna sign in and shit himself at the sight of the OOC

*nervous sweats*

Okay, moving forward we won't made adjustments just when they suit our needs. If the consensus is that people want the backstory or post changed to reflect what happened, I PM'd @Perascamin some suggestions so his post can stick to his character's backstory without anyone else needing to make edits.

This is a new RP and new people are on the site. Let's try and make a good impression.
Think of the mugger as a reward for posting first.
Hyrule Castle Town - Green District

Telma's Bar

The Green District was located in the North East portion of Castle Town. In the slums the streets were even less lively than before. There were fewer guards, and the buildings weren't as well lit. If this wasn't the capital, one might of assumed the place was abandoned. It always seemed strange how the closer one got to the castle walls the worse off everything seemed to be, and Telma's Bar was in the least friendly neighborhood, built directly against the corner of Castle-Town's outer most wall.

While not unheard of, a lone Deku this hour of night was a rare sight in the green slums. As the moving vegetation scurried back and forth through the streets as if on a mission, it attracted the unwanted attention of the locals who peered at the creature from dark windows and crudely built shanties. Dekkunda would likely glimpse a few of these unfriendly faces as he looked for Telma's bar deep in the Green District. Odd enough, the bar wasn't lit up like the taverns in the other districts, and there were no signs of any business. If someone tried to open the door, they would find that it was tightly locked. Neighboring buildings appeared equally uninviting, but they created a dark alley for one to get behind the bar. Behind the bar was less exciting. There was a wooden back door that was also locked and a muddy ground surrounded by thick shrubbery. Though the rain was doing a good job of washing away any footprints, it was clear that someone had been sleeping out here, most likely a drunk or tramp. The proprietress of this bar wasn't doing much to maintain its grounds.

Due to the rain and lighting, Dekkuna was unaware of the tail he had picked up a few blocks back. Perhaps by fate, he was fortunate that the giant Turok was watching from the street after finding the business closed.

"What do we have here?" A cold voice spoke after Dekkuna trapped himself in the alley. Even in the storm, the Deku could tell that this 'friend' was filthy. And Hylian. Wasting no time, the man pulled a knife and began walking towards the little scrub. "Whatever you have, hand it all over. Now. And Scram before I kill you."
But yea the first post is up. I'll be on standby for any questions.
