idk man they're not really assuming anything? It's a personal status and not anything towards you. If it doesn't resonate with you, it's pretty easy to just scroll past it.

Well yes more so yourself than anyone else lol. Can't really control circumstances outside yourself anyhow. Sometimes I just forget.

👋 Oh hi there <3
Welcome to my little corner of the guild! I go by Qia or Weasel. Either is equally valid. I've been roleplaying since my early college years, primarily across Tumblr (currently inactive) and right here. Storytelling is one of my favourite creative outlets, and I have a particular fondness for digging into the psychology behind every character I build which is also, admittedly, the most practical application of my degree to date. Whoops? ╮ (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.) ╭
📖 The Writing Stuff
What I love
Thrillers & horror
Mythology
The magical & supernatural
Modern & futuristic settings
My take on romance
I tend to prefer romance as a subplot, so pretty much something that adds depth and texture to the story rather than driving it. If you find me gravitating toward slow-burn dynamics that build gradually over time, that's exactly why. I like relationships that truly earn their moments.
That said, while I'm open to exploring darker themes, I'm not interested in writing explicit content. A tasteful fade-to-black with a solid lead-up? Absolutely. Anything beyond that is not for me, thanks.
How I write and what I expect
My writing style tends toward the mature/advanced end of the spectrum, or so I've been told! That said, I don't expect others to match me. Writing is a skill like any other. It grows with practice and time. As long as I can follow your character's voice and understand their motivations within the story, we're absolutely golden.
I'm most comfortable writing female characters, though I can write male characters with some extra effort. (Okay...a lot of extra effort. It's a work in progress (⌒_⌒;) )
📌 A Few Important Notes
◈ I'm in my early 30s and strongly prefer that any writing partners be close to my age.
◈ As for 1x1 partners, I'm open to it, though I'm not actively searching. It really comes down to familiarity with you and your writing, and whether there's something that genuinely interests us both. If that sounds like it could be you, feel free to reach out!
◈ Curious about my writing style or the characters I play? Feel free to browse the roleplays listed in my signature.
Questions, comments, or just a hello? Don't be a stranger. My inbox is open but please don't be a freak, ok? No stupid or weird stuff. ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧
@Qia Would you like me to write you anything specific? If she comes around the back door, she will find a way through. :>
hmm idk if this is specific enough but I imagine since you have something planned then it should almost feel too easy. Like getting inside, figuring out where Mat's being kept etc etc
Thalia’s arms folded as she listened, her gaze trained on Sya’s ever-moving form. The Blightborn innkeeper was careful—too careful. She spoke fluidly, but the measured way she chose her words caught Thalia’s attention.
An attack inside the walls. The guards securing the town. But no mention of the attacker. No description, no specifics.
Lark, meanwhile, had settled near her side, his posture alert but calm. When Sya addressed him directly, his ears flicked at the sound of her voice, but he remained where he was, tail resting still against the floor. No growls, no raised hackles. Just quiet, steady watchfulness.
Thalia exhaled, weight shifting over one foot. “Lark.” She finally supplied his name, though her thoughts were already threading through the holes in Sya’s story, sifting through what was left unsaid.
The lighthearted remark about bribes and harem memberships might have made her scoff on another night. Instead, her lips barely twitched. “Good to know your principles are unshakable.” Her tone was dry, but not unkind. “Not that I have gold to throw around.” She should have expected as much. Sya wasn’t about to let her out, and Thalia knew better than to waste time trying to argue. Instead, she tilted her head, scrutinizing the Lamia.
Did Sya know who had been attacked? Did she know if the guards had any leads—or if they were already covering something up?
She wanted to ask. Wanted to press.
But the moment she accused, she’d lose her chance of hearing more.
Instead, Thalia adjusted her stance and nodded once, as if accepting the information at face value. “Fine.” She exhaled. “If we’re trapped here, I’ll take you up on that hospitality. My father’s still half-asleep upstairs, but I’ll make sure he’s fine again later.”
Her fingers tapped lightly against her arm before she finally asked, “How long do you think this will last?”
You know what I was thinking... if ERode and Qia end up surrounding Asterion so he cannot expand outward district. This man is going to completely upgrade his districts, if possible, all to aristocratic, and make them a garden of Eden of sorts.
You can sneak in through the back entrance or through a smashed window while the attack is going on. It's entirely up to you how you want to handle it, and you're more than welcome to use the White Pine collab doc so we can go back and forth. ;>
@Herald Oh my, Hugh Murray, the bane of the sinners....
I really, really like these NPCs, all approved!
Ok....as long as I have permission to sneak in through Vincent's back door :)
Also, I am mainly joking. Asterion is very cautious about cops/military folks tho.
Edit:
I should add. I feel like he is cautious about authority/cops/etc... because growing up as a kid on the streets. Military probably = disappear. Cops = going to a foster home or a jail cell. Which he wanted nothing to do with any of that. lol
Understandable. So is Bella. But she's also a little desperate/not thinking straight :P
