Current Man, I remember those last few statuses sounding funnier when I was writing them... Is this what aging does to people?

I eat negativity and shit out hopes and dreams. Like a tree, but for pessimism.

Good news, I'm not failing out of my cooking course tomorrow! Bad news, it's only because I nearly sliced a chunk off my finger practicing for it and needed stitches.

It's days like today that I truly believe this ADHD is both a blessing AND a curse.

If we were to do the popular x unpopular, would I be able to be the unpopular one?
Would it make more sense to say he's half demon and half human for 50/50?

Honestly, I'd prefer not to. I originally wanted to make him a full demon, but I wanted to give him a proper weakness to balance out his powers, and the best way I could think of was to make his powers hurt him somehow. That's the only reason he's part human. Still, if you really want me to make him half demon, I guess I can. I'd just prefer not to.

Alright, I put my app in the character page.
* Name: Ragna

* Pic/Image:

* Personality & Biography:
Ragna is a man who grew up on the battlefield. Orphaned before he could even remember, his earliest memories see him looting bodies for anything he can use to survive, until he was taken in by a small band of mercenaries. With this group, he fought and trained himself until the age of seventeen, where he split off on his own.

Over the course of the next few years, Ragna saw many sights, some good, but many bad. He fought a lot during that time, and slowly, he began to lose faith in people. He still wishes to do what he can to help it, and he'll protect people he comes across if he sees whatever he's looking for in them, but pragmatism has overtaken compassion for him, leaving him little will to help people if it takes him out of the way of his current goals. In fact, it wouldn't be incorrect to say that most of his emotions are muted somewhat. They're still there, but they are rarely very intense.

That isn't to say there isn't still some kindness in him, and whenever he does happen to see something that rekindles his faith in people, even just a little, he will fight tooth and nail to protect it.
Also kids. He can't walk past a crying kid to save his life.

* Powers, Abilities, & Equips:
Over the course of his time as a mercenary, Ragna has honed his physical abilities to great levels, being a lot stronger and more dexterous than many men of his age.

He is also skilled in a variety of different weapons. However, his focus is on wielding the glaive and arming sword he keeps on his person. While he will generally only wield one at a time, he is more than capable of wielding both at once, a fighting style which has saved him on more than one occasion.

However, off the battlefield he is not particularly intelligent, and he has a bad habit of choosing the absolute worst things to say.

* Story Role:
Antagonist for Princess
Hey, so I'm interested in joining. Here's my character sheet, so please tell me if I need to change or fix anything.

• Appearance:

A small part of his spinal column is actually exposed, leaving a line of rough ridges up his back. He also has a thin, whip-like tail, also hosting the same spines.

• Name: Belias (Bel) Verto

• Age: 15, but 16 in just a couple of weeks.

• Species: Three quarters demon, one quarter human.

• Abilities: Bel has a couple of natural abilities, all of which come from his perpetually high body heat. The first is his 'healing factor', which self-cauterises any wounds he might take. However, it is very painful for him.
His second ability causes his natural body heat to flow into his spinal column, causing it to actually light up from heat alone. This is particularly noticeable in the exposed ridges, which glows a bright blue. Once it has powered up properly, his jaw snaps and unhinges painfully, and the heat bursts out in a highly pressurised beam. This process burns his throat very badly, leaving him in terrible pain for the few moments until it heals.
All of the pain from these powers can be traced back to the fact that he is one quarter human, taking away any natural endurance to his own heat he would have had otherwise.

• Skills: He is fairly acrobatic, having tried to get into gymnastics multiple times as a child. Perhaps because of this, he is also a very good dancer, having taken it up as one of his most enduring hobbies. Finally, he is quite good at playing the Bodhrán, or Irish drum, although most other instruments tend to escape him.

• Inventory: His Bodhrán, given to him by his human grandfather.

• Sample Post:

• Other: He generally needs to wear clothes that either have a very wide, open collar, or clothes like his vest that he can put on without getting them caught on his horns.
I'm interested in joining, but I have a question. What would being the antagonist for the princess entail, and would it be possible to make a character who takes that role but is actually just a really nice person?
Happy new year from Australia, where we drink way more than the British!

Also, I legitimately can't wait for the point in the night where Joseph actually does see Lupe in the presence of a female who doesn't feel physically sick in his presence.

Joseph Moore

Joseph wasn't sure what he'd been expecting when he's decided to introduce himself to the blonde man, who was being surprisingly quite friendly. However, he could say with a fair amount of certainty that it wasn't to be kissed smack bang on the lips. Oh, he'd heard what he'd said about it being some form of Slavic greeting, but still, it was a hell of a surprise.

He'd probably have to apologise to Ren about all the teasing now though.

"Huh, well, I'll definitely say that I wasn't quite expecting that..." He said slowly, actually feeling a deal more sober somehow. "Maybe lets just start as friends first, yeah?"

He knew he really shouldn't, but he actually felt kind of guilty for how uncomfortable it made him feel. However, he was glad to put that thought out of his mind when Sasha started talking about Lord of the Rings, comparing him to Aragorn of all people!

"Well, I'm not sure I deserve to be compared to someone as good hearted as Aragorn, but I guess there are a few similarities. Still though, maybe someday, I'll talk to my grandparents again. However, I doubt I could ever put the wanderer part of my life away properly. If it weren't for that, I would never have seen half the beautiful things I've seen. Never helped the people I helped. I mean, no offence to you, because you seem pretty alright, but if I had just gone with my grandparents and become Joseph Johannesen after my parents died, I might have ended up like your Cuban friend, and let me tell you, I'm only all too glad to haw avoided that fate."

And then he paused, realising that his drunken ramblings had caused him to accidentally let out exactly which obscenely rich family he technically belonged to. Worse still, not only would Sasha almost definitely recognise the name, he or his family may very well have had connections with them. After all, the Johannesen Conglomerate wasn't exactly an obscure company, with Alexander and Sarah Johannesen being fairly well known as 'richer than God'.

"Um, I don't suppose you could keep the Johannesen part to yourself, could you? I wanna try living on my own power a little longer, you know?"

However, before he could continue, he somehow heard a familiar voice over the sounds of the festival, and turned around.

"Oh, Olivia!" He said, a bright smile on his face, before quickly turning back to Sasha. "Hey Sasha, I'm gonna head over to talk to one of the few other friends I've managed to make in this city, but it was surprisingly pretty nice talking to you! Next time you wanna chat, find a pigeon and ask for me within it's earshot. I'll find you. Anyway, remember to tell Pissgate that he's literally the worst humanity has to offer, and I'll see you then!"

And then he kind of stumble-jogged over to Olivia and Victor, grin still on his face.

"Hey, so did you manage to find your grandmother alright after I left on Wednesday? I mean, I know you could probably handle it alright on your own, but you know. Just wanna make sure."

And then he noticed the large man behind her, and hoped the small pang of dissapointment he felt didn't show on his face.

"So is this guy your date tonight? I swear, everyone I've had an actual conversation with in this city, I've seen tonight with a date. It's almost kind of unsettling."

He chuckled a bit.

"Next thing I know, I'm gonna see the Cuban with a date who doesn't look depressed and uncomfortable just from listening to him..."

And then he held his hand out to the muscular man, hoping that no small hunt f depression entered his expression. Of course, he was still quite drunk, so unfortunately it was almost definitely pretty clear on his face. Still, he was pretty sure he managed to hide it fairly quickly, so maybe he'd managed to escape notice regardless.

"Hi, I'm Joseph Moore, one of Olivia's more recent friends. Nice to meetcha!"
Hey, I'm pretty interested in the princess x average joe one.
Hey, so I'd be interested in 5, as well as maybe something with Senada. I reckon one of my friendly idiot characters would work well for both. Also, I know it might be a bit of a stretch, but would it be possible to combine the two, and have Senada be a character in the Cataleya one? If not, it's also fine, but it might be pretty cool if we did.
