4 months into this hole 'being a responsible adult thing' and I've come to a conclusion: It sucks and I want to go back to the days where I didn't have to plan out my game time.

@CaitsThinking of another pair of characters, but first, a question? Any more room in the council and can I make one of them a complete, chauvinistic, asshole? Don't ask where the idea came from, it just popped into my head after Leslie brought up Noragami. The connection between the two is lost on me.
@ZelosseHe can make a device to do exactly that, though that'd also take a bit of time to design with his current level knowledge, especially with nothing similar to work off of.
*Prods thread with a hit branding iron*
@Zelossehe can understand gestures well enough, but no reading and writing just yet, as he still doesn't have a concept of language yet. Once he figures out that they're more than just scribbles on a page, however, he'll probably be a fast learner.
Mars

At first, Mars was confused as Canduce pulled out the rather cumbersome looking thing, wondering what such a large thing was supposed to do. Then she ran the blade across the strings and made it sing. The energy and pace of the music, it's vibrant vitality, it all seemed to flow into him, his eyes glittering to life as a resurgence of spirit burst into his soul. He couldn't keep himself still, running outside and letting the music flow through him like wildfire. His movement matched the beat of the song, having a style similar to that of breakdancing as he seemed to fly across the ground with his erratic, yet purposeful moves.

The air was filled with laughter as Mars let go himself, his form taking on a shimmering glow as his hair, skin, and eyes regained their varied amounts of colors, all seeming to glow brightly as if they might almost explode. As the music finished, Mars initiated a crazy head-spin, before launching himself into the air and landing with a crash into the ground. His breathing was heavy as he picked himself up, his trademark from back on his face again in full force.

"That. . . was . . . AWESOME!"

@Guardian Angel Haruki
@ZelosseHe's not sure if he does want to speak( still confused about the idea if wanting in general), and if he does do so it'll take more than just metal, it'll take a bit of wiring, magic circuitry, and other bits and baubles to make it function as needed, not to mention the time nerfed for him to come up with a compatible design. If you gave Risty metal right now, he'd deconstruct it, then just stare at you in silence as he waits for something else to happen.

He'll either be talking, or finding some other method of communication, probably after the 2 year time skip scheduled after the games, or whenever it feels right.
Rusty

Rusty continued to mimic the tall being's movements until it removed the metal from it's heaf, to which the robot found himself unable to do the same. When the being presented it's neck, it took a few minutes to understand that something in the being's neck allowed it to make those strange sounds. Rusty took a second to process this thought before doing a scan of his own systems, to see if he could do the same. He came up with a negative reading on such a function, and was confused by it ever so slightly. Why do these being's have thid function, but not him? He pondered for a moment longer, than raised his hand to scan the presented part, this taking about a minute or two before he got the design. He then created another Forge sphere, except this one had a 3-D model of the being's neck inside.

Rusty peeled away all the unnecessary layers, the skin, tissue, muscles, and veins, until he got found the piece he was looking for, enlarging it for a closer study. After doing this for a bit longer, he ceased the magic, deciding that it woukd require investigation and better materials to create such a component, if he even wanted to.

. . . . . want . . . .

Rusty's head tilted to the side, confused by this new sensation. What was 'want'? What did it mean to 'want' something? So many questions, but they'd have to be saved for later. These two beings were intriquing, so he'd stay here awhile, standing silently, waiting for something to happen. He . . . wanted something to happen. Whatever that entailed.

@Invisible Man

@Zelosse
@CaitsThat felt a little forced. . . but yeah, been awhile since I've tried to do a stoic character.
@Caitspokes back

So, I'm finding roleaying asRusty interestingly difficult, as I have to start him off with little personality and go from there. The mindset I have to get into for him is kind of having a lack of thought beuond surface level. His actions are all he thinks about, so that's all I can really write for.
Rusty

Rusty found his analysis interrupted by something running into him, causing the robot to turn his head to address the subject. It was another being, this one dressed in metal and pointing a sharpened piece of it at Rusty, speaking ingrates gibberish they all seemed to love speaking. As his attention was diverted, a popping sound could be heard as the small being in his hands began to squirm about. Rusty was confused as to why he could only see out of only one optic unit, only to find that part his face had been coated with a strange sticky substance.

Upon realizing this, Rusty activated his Construction magic, deconstructing the him into it's base ingredients and studying the components and how they worked together to form the substance. Once his face was cleaned, he decided to release the small being, letting it fall to the ground as he turned to the other being, raiding up a hand to scan their strange adornments and the shard of metal in it's hand. Since these were very simple in design, it only took a second to scan them. After that, Rusty made a Forge sphere, in which he pumped magical energy into to form a mass of gum in it's center. He set about shaping and manipulating the various aspects of the material until he made a replica of the taller being's sword, made from hardened gum.

Once finished, the process taking a few minutes, he presented it to the two beings, holding it in a similar way as the taller being had done once shouting at him. This made it appear like he was readying his gun sword for combat of some kind, and thus, made the robot look quite ridiculous.
