4 months into this hole 'being a responsible adult thing' and I've come to a conclusion: It sucks and I want to go back to the days where I didn't have to plan out my game time.

@The Darklight ProjectCool, making a post for Drosil right now. Also, just to be sure, these aren't fights to the death, am I right?
So . . . anybody still here?
*watches Finale* . . . Whelp, that happened.

Itsuki

Itsuki eyes flicked towards, Asoka, then Kachi, before letting his Kagune disperse with a slight sigh. He payed little attention to what happened afterwards, only concerned with one thing at that moment now that he had confirmed that there was no actual threat. "Kachi, be wary, seems like Asoka means to sexually assail the all of us before the night is out. And I won't argue that what I did might be overreactive considering the assailants, but I've learned the hard way not to underestimate someone just because of their age." Itsuki, backed away before Kachi could proceed to push him, putting his back against the wall, watching and listening to the kids as they spoke, learning a couple things himself as well. But as everyone spoke, his gaze drifed over to his youngest sibling, or more to the point, the kagune that she shouldn't have. He'd heard lots of stories of half-ghouls, but none of them had been happy ones, especially those of humans being made into ghouls by some sick scientist's experiments. His fingers curled into fists as he began to feel a familiar surge of anger flow through him, but he quickly let it dissipate as he knew that getting pissed at shadows wouldn't solve anything, and going after whoever did this wouldn't stop whatever had happened.

Turning his attention to the small group that had made themselves known, he decided to wait rather than add in his own two cents to the issue. Instead, he studied the children, the dynamics among them, the weak links, and the pressure points that could be pressed to break their spirits. the girl and the older boys seemed to be the more capable of the 5, though that wasn't by much, and the twins were either smart or stupid for asking for forgiveness the way they did. Probably stupidly naive, but trying to calm the situation down, even in such a childish fashion, might've given them some pity in the eyes of a ghoul. A Dove would've killed them all outright, though, no doubt about that. They were all young, and obviously not related, but had come together out of necessity like many orphaned ghouls. How ironic that they come here for safety and a place to live.

"A group of orphans, living in the ruins of an old mansion that just so happened to be the place where we were gathered so many years ago in much the same way. It's quite the poetic coincidence, I must say, that they come to live here at the moment of our impromptu reunion. And I do have to agree with Kachi on this one, kids, if things are as bad as he says, than you're probably going to die if you stay here."

So much for waiting, though I never have been the type to sit still and wait for my turn to speak. Always having to speak, always need to break the silence, even if that means conversing with myself.
@Prince of SeraphsNo, it's just that he's the closest thing that one can currently find to an actual dragon, as that's the form of spirit that has possessed him. Slayer's are his kryptonite because of this, as they can actually hurt him and cause him pain due to the properties of their magic. Their are similarities, yes, but that's because the basis of Slayer magic is to use and absorb the power of your chosen enemy, until you finally become them.
The Next Day

In the Golem's Hand guild, Ky woke up, stretching a bit as he looked out the window of his room, feeling like the festival yesterday had gone, well enough. THe low point of the day, however, was when he used Ria's intrusion to mutter off a garbled excuse, released Allison's hand, and quickly fled the seen feeling quite embarrassed with himself. Definitely not one of his finest moments, to be sure, but hopefully it wouldn't comeback to bite him in the ass one day. Now that he was up, he went through his regular schedule, brushing his teeth, taking a quick, cold shower to wake himself up, than a slightly longer one to actually clean himself, before walking down to the guild hall proper, deciding to check on the requests for the day.

On the notice board where a bunch of missions, from ones he wouldn't think of taking, they were so out of his league, to others that were so easy he could do them in his sleep. He wasn't in the mood for something super difficult today, but definitely wasn't looking for a walk in the park. He wanted something mildly challenging today, and a few missions seemed to qualify. One was a monster hunting mission that he was pretty sure Travis had expressed interest in yesterday, so he could join the hot head on that mission, though the monster looked like a real doozy of a beast. The next was a request asking for mages to take out a rogue robot some mage had created that had holed up in a cave system across the lake. It was apparently real strong and had deemed itself a protector of the lake and protesting the hunting of it's fish with lethal results. Another mission called for the rescue of a girl who'd been kidnapped into the forest by some local bandits, a few of them were rogue mages and thus considered highly dangerous, and the leader in the possession of some sort of magical artefact as well. The final mission that he found of interest was one including an old wizard requesting for a few young mages to come to his home and keep him company, as well as partake in a few experiments for him. While not the most exciting, this was obviously a man of means,a s the rewards listed for the job were quite high for the tasks given.

"So many choices . . . so little time . . ."

In the Harpy's Wing Guild, these same quest were also present, as well as one asking for the robot's safe return rather than it's destruction and another detailing a mysterious sickness being present in some of the wildlife in the town's lake, causing them to mutate and attack the populace. The corruption had been traced to a nearby system of underwater caves, though what may be the cause is anybody's guess, as non-sent into the caves have ever returned to tell.
@AkayaofthemoonI think splitting would be easier at the moment(and make more sense now that things have calmed a little), so if you could do that next time you post as well as the monster, it'd be awesome.
Caught up a bit, and Drosil would definitely be interested in a chance to show off a bit, though he'll be going for non-lethal takedowns unless he absolute must kill. Shadar, if he does show up, will be going to win. If his opponents die because of it, so be it.
@The Darklight ProjectIs it too late to get Drosil and Shadar their own fights, as I'm sure they'd both wish for a chance to show their prowess in their respective fields, plus Drosil's ego had been fairly bruised by the paladin and this would definitely help with that.
Nidhogg

The bright rays of the sun awoke Nidhogg's sleeping form, a few bines popping into place as he stretched the stiffness from his prone body. It appeared that his long nap had taken quite a bit longer than he had intended, but perhaps that was for the best. The less time there was in the day, the less time there was to be bored out of his mind, after all, though conversely, that meant less time to potentially do interesting things. What an interesting frame of thought to explore, but right now, he was more interested in exploring the city a bit more, perhaps finding a meal or two to silence the grumbling of his stomach. Getting up, he did a few more stretches, looking over the rooftops before he decided to take a big leap in a random direction, soaring over the streets until he landed with a light roll onto another rooftop. He'd do this several more times, a smile on his face as he felt his body begin to warm-up thanks to the exercise, only for him to misjudge the distance of one jump by a hair, causing him to over-shoot it.

As Jasmine moped in the streets, she'd only get a faint warning in the form of a yell, before a figure would come crashing in from the sky, smacking into the street sign with a hard clang, twitching slightly as he slowly fell backwards onto the ground. A very nasty indentation was present in his chest, and the blossoming of red gave credence to the likelihood of injury, but the man seem rather unaware of this problem, as he rose up like nothing had happened. It was only when he tried to move that he realized something was the matter, as his chest seemed a bit inflexible at the moment. Looking down at his chest, he offered only a slight click of his lips, before turning to the young girl.

"Would you happen to have any money for a local butchery? I have need of their services, but am lacking in funds to procure their wares, and stealing from them would bring much unwanted attention that would be much to bothersome at the moment to deal with. If you don't, then I'll have to just go and find someone else, or just a corner to die in, as the wound is rather serious." Now this was a lie, as the wound was rather minor, all things considered, but he saw no reason not to play on the hope that this girl was a good samaritan to get himself a free meal that won't get him thrown in jail.
