Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

Explanation of how Mokou's body count is higher: she spent 300 years killing anyone and everyone she met. She didn't handle immortality well until finding Kaguya again.
Misaka Mikoto

Considering the sheer mass of metal, and testing quickly with her own ability, the Railgun came to a swift conclusion about the feasibility of the girl's plan: "I think it's fixed in place, I can't budge it."

The better idea, then, was simply to dig down until they got to whatever this metal was, rather than to try and bring it to them. Even if it wasn't completely immovable with enough force (she didn't want to try), it might be linked to a power network. In fact... now that she was close enough, moving it was a terrible idea.

"Whatever it is, there's power going to it. "

"We're both looking for a way out of here, we may as well stick together," the older of the two answered, continuing to be unphased by the man's lack of social ability. In the normal course of things, it wasn't like he was any worse than she tended to be, and his body count--especially of innocent people--probably wouldn't even compare to hers. That, and she came from a place where disagreement normally devolved immediately into fighting. Bad moods weren't a big deal.

"Yes, we're lost."

Guts obviously wasn't from here.
I'm wondering the same thing my character is wondering, where is everyone else? Two people haven't transferred over their characters yet, plus there's this mystery person we haven't seen anything from yet.

First two, don't know.
One character that loves storms, one that oh-so-subtly doesn't. XD
Oh god Paranoia.

You make it sound like you're an actual person, and not just a figment of my imagination.

I seem to get that a lot. It is quite a curious response.

To be honest it's fine. I don't mind spoilers personally. It's how I learned most of what I know about ASOIAF.

But hey, courtesy of others. I get it.

Since 'people that haven't read that far' includes the GM and me... :P

Mokou: not giving a fuck that this place is supposedly dangerous.

Exciting journey to the bottom aside--and child held protectively tight in case gravity decided to reassert itself--the brunette was increasingly confused by the frog-hatted girl's ability. The sheer power outdid anything she'd seen accept the Number One's and he wasn't anything near as flashy about it.

When their journey came to its annoyingly wet end, the Railgun climbed out from the leaf boat and pointed in the same direction as the metal mass, "I can detect metal there."

Was this guy dense or something? It seemed quite likely to be the case, since she'd stated that she can't walk home and his assumption had been that she was an invalid. Not that, in many respects, it was an unfair conclusion to get from her appearance and ability (or lack thereof) to take damage, but she was quite clearly standing there.

"You might as well tell me to walk to the sun. It's as close to here as my home is," Mokou answered, not really having much idea to get back to Gensokyo even if this was somehow the familiar outside world, unlikely as it seemed from the overabundance of youkai, due to her first arrival being pretty much accidentally wandering into it.

Her opinion of the view, looking around the muscular obstacle, was pretty much in the opposite direction: definitely some modern city, which raised the question of how something so obviously supernatural could have been so immensely present. Maybe they were in some other place? She wouldn't put it past the Lunarians to set up something crazy like this for some reason. Messing with people was the entire reason that the damned Elixir had been created...
Still haven't gotten onto reading the books rather than everything else. XD
One of the 'employees' was doing a good job downstairs of taking up a vast amount of the rather battered couch, though there was no real intent to do so: Akemi's hair simply managed to take up the half that the maid-attired homunculus herself wasn't. In every other respect, however, the nearly emotionless girl seemed to be the picture of perfect elegance as she slowly read a book.

Of course, one look at the book itself ruined the illusion of a mature, elegant maid: the cartoonish image on the front was of a rather large pig sat in a comfy chair. Anyone fluent in English would be able to tell--both from the way the text was spaced inside, and reading the back cover--that the bodyguard was quite happily reading a children's book. On the table in front of her was another by the same author, resting atop the newest piece of clutter: today's newspaper.

Someone had taken the time to underline the weather forecast in red pen. Particularly the bit that mentioned a storm.
