Yup, season 4 comes out July. I am eager.

Word of warning to anyone thinking about watching: it's just plain WEIRD and the animation's quite bad in S1. Then in S2 and S3 the animation's better. Still weird writing for the whole thing.

As side characters that tend to drop entirely out of focus. Especially when the magical cast gets large enough to justify it.

... though the first one that comes to mind where that doesn't has everyone in the know, and of the 'normal people', one is a ninja who can run on water and another can punch an explosion. Because he watches a lot of action movies.

I think the "vigilante with criminal contacts because he envied his sister" part's still a bit far on the edgy side.

And I don't think brightness would matter so much. Maybe resolution and zoom. But brightness wouldn't compensate for a lack of contrast against a dark background.

Akane wasn't the only girl heading in that direction towards the shops--Noriko, too, often passed by the diner, even choosing to eat there occasionally. Realistically, she could have eaten out any day of the week but there was something about cheap convenience store food that she found appealing. Maybe it was still how unusual it all was to the rurally-raised young lady that gave it an air of mystery.

Regardless, the not-yet-a-magical-girl wasn't the only one to watch someone newly introduced to the fine art of jumping from rooftop to rooftop, ending on the same familiar diner just as she was walking past. Thinking about it, her outfit didn't seem familiar, so unless she was some fringe magical girl only reported on the internet...

"Oh my, a new magical girl," Noriko said, before remembering a far more pressing piece of advice to call out, "Miss, you should make sure not to stand on a roof too long! Not all are built to support you!"
